This spot is quite eclectic with its colorful yet moody decor. I do love the shelves of plants in the back, but that's about it. Upon entering, the space was so quiet with no music. Most people here seemed to be working/studying despite it being 7pm on a Friday night --weird. So you order your food/drinks at the bar, which will then be brought out to you with a number you take for your table. I ordered the 2 Empanadas ($12) and a Spicy Mangorita ($15). For whatever reason, my friend's drink came before mine even though she ordered after me. Then both of our food took 40 minutes and only after we followed up after waiting for so long. We had empanadas and a salad, why would it take so long? They must've forgot (or playing hide and seek). We were also rushing to a show at the Warsaw afterwards, so we weren't sure if we were even going to have time after waiting so long. Anyways, that really deterred the mood. Maybe just stick to a cocktail only here.

My husband and I came here for an after dinner drink. I tried the non-alcoholic Negroni which ended up being a pre-made bottle. It definitely tasted like a Negroni! My husband had them make him an old fashioned which he didn't like that much. The best part of this place in our opinion was the board games, the couches, the dj, and the ambiance. The staff was also really friendly and chill. And we stayed and played connect 4 for quite some time. We didn't have much luck with our drinks but would be willing to go again for the other factors and maybe we just chose poorly for drinks. I'd be willing to try again!

I haven't been out to Greenpoint in awhile but maybe I should bc I'd get to go to cool spots like this. Loves: + Cocktails are $14. I'm so used to $20+ prices so this was SO nice. + Mocktails are $8. Again, *gasp* bc most places seem to only take $1-2 off from alc prices. + Fun colorful wall art!!! + You can reserve the back area for birthdays... + ... which btw has a beautiful plant wall :) + Nice staff and good service There's food here too but I didn't have a chance to try that this visit. Maybe next time when I'm back?!

This is such a unique spot, I loved it so much. In the daytime it's a cafe but it turns into a bar at night. We went in the daytime, and I think it's perfect for studying - lots of comfy couches and tabletop seats, and it feels cozy. They also have some games you can play with friends. The strawberry hibiscus tea I had was so fruity and refreshing. The barista was so sweet and friendly. What makes this spot special is definitely the interior design, it's really gorgeous and such a surprise since it looks so unassuming from the outside. There is a bathroom inside.

Had such a great experience here when my friend and I were in the area. I found this place on Yelp and fell in love with the interior and colors. I tried their berry matcha which I absolutely loved. It took me a while to get into matcha but after this drink I was sold. I also ordered their chicken empanadas which were very filling ( the order comes with 2). They were filled with great proportions and came with this sauce so good! My friend a latte and sandwich and we loved every bit of this cafe. Staff was friendly, there were people studying and they also have live jazz nights. Can't wait to go back again!

TL;DR: Fun space to hang, grab a coffee/drink, decent happy hour, live bands Stopped by to grab a drink and found a world we couldn't have imagined The back room is such a VIBE! Super high ceiling, fun wall decor, painted walls, board games out the wazoo Come for a good hang, quiet or loud Cheers, Hide & Seek!

We stumbled upon this place as we were waiting for our charms we made across the street to be ready. Me and the girlies decided to stop by for a drink. The bartender was so nice and sweet! Had a nice conversation with her as she made our drinks. This spot is so cute! I would work here every day if I could. Tons of space for you to sit and enjoy your drink/food and do work as well. They also have lots of games to play too! Which we definitely played Highly recommend you checking out this spot. It's a vibe!!! I mean look at all the colors and greenery.

The cutest coffeeshop/bar/lounge in Greenpoint. Came here in the evening and it was such a spacious, relaxing vibe with beautiful decor and a wall full of plants. I will definitely be back.

We arrived around 6pm to get some work done, and this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. It's spacious, has WiFi, and offers a great variety of drinks, from coffee to cocktails. I ordered a hot cider to warm up, and it was so deliciously sweet. Plus, there was no line when we got here, so service was super fast. I couldn't gatekeep this spot!

Stopped by for a mid day pick up. Had the karts with cayenne pepper and it hit the spot. Love the vibe and the very cool back room.

Cool find, lots of couches make this coffee shop by day/bar by night a relaxing place. In addition to your espressos and lattes, they have some delicious teas (tried the hibiscus strawberry) and organic juices. The walls and ceiling feature a wild, colorful mural. The servers couldn't have been nicer, allowing my desperate sister to charge her phone. A little oasis on busy Manhattan Ace.

He gave us great recommendations from the menu and had a really good energy about him. We started with some guacamole and it was pretty tasty. But the fish tacos? They were some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Maybe it's because they were thick pieces - not tiny cut up fish bits - and they were fresh and hot and crispy! The sauce on them was so good and packed a nice punch and the lime delivered a perfect amount of acid. These were stellar and I would come back for these any day. I thought the meal wouldn't get better, but then we all shared a Cuban sandwich and wow! It was better than some of the ones I've had in Miami. I was totally floored after this meal! We weren't expecting anything big, but this was bombastic, and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know! The fact that the staff is so cool, the place is so cute, and the food is so good makes this an easy choice for a neighborhood hang out.

The music is a touch too loud, but kids and their rock 'n roll, right? Doesn't take away from the delectable food and considerate service, especially Lucas and Orsi (at the bar) - they know what they're doing! The proprietor, George, is always on site - he is very involved and works hard. You can tell. For many New Yorkers the pandemic lasted but a few years; for bars, restaurants and cafes like George's .. COVID-19's effects still linger and make for a challenging time. Kudos to George for hanging in there, and much appreciation! Will be back next weekend for my virgin bellini (better tasting than the "real" thing) and delicious respite from this cruel, hard world. Thanks, guys!

Something told me to get it and I don't even like shrimp. I really loved this. And the way the empanadas taste with the sauces, truly perfect together. I wish I got more. I also got the pabellon. This was also yum. I don't know the name of the orange sauce, but it paired really well with that one. Having a sweet plantain crust is a very interesting. It wasn't as durable as a regular empanada. But it did tasted really delicious. Recommend!

The sweetness from the plantain mixed with the savory shredded beef was a magnificent combo - Corn Carne Mechada, similar to the above, the shredded beef was very flavorful - Corn Pollo, this was your basic chicken empanada so solid choice but nothing stood out, I wish it had cheese - Corn Pollo en Mole Rojo, I didn't really like the flavor profile and wouldn't order again They all came with sauces that were all so good and went very well with the empanadas. They had a spicy one, green one (avocado?) and pink (ketchup/mayo). The cashier was really nice and recommended some to try. They were out of the oxtail at the time. They fried up the empanadas fresh and were done pretty quickly. I do wish they would have labeled the empanadas so I knew what I was eating. The store is pretty small but there is seating and a bathroom. All of my friends enjoyed their empanadas as well and we would all go back!

OMG!! These…read moreempanadas are seriously the best tasting empanadas I ever had. Immediately I was going to rate them lower due to size and no labeling but the taste was truly made with lots of love. I ordered 4 via Ubereats, totaling roughly $24 with 3 sauces. I ordered the Chicken macaroni and cheese, Ropa Vieja, Americano and a Pastelon. Every single one of them were on point, warm and crispy. My only true complaint is that they're super small. Better for my calorie intake I guess lol. The meat was extremely well seasoned, cheese was melted, plantain was sweet. The edges were crispy and the flavors together were delicious. The avocado sauce is way too thick. It's more like a thick heavy cream. The pink sauce is your typical mayo ketchup. There is absolutely no way of knowing which empanadas are which. They need a better concept so that customers know especially if they're ordering as a group to share. I've never seen an empanada place not label their empanada. I read a google review from the owners saying they put it on the package on the bottom corner but that is a lie. It's not on the empanada itself or on the packaging. Overall I'm still ordering from here again : )

The cons... they charge for sauce, you get none if you don't order it... $.30 each. I got the avocado and hot sauce, decent but nothing fancy. They have plastic cutlery, no knife, just forks. They have rice and bean dishes with your choice of protein, but if you're traveling, and you like your beans separate, they will not pack it separately. So I didn't order it. They're not very accommodating, but they were still good. I'll be back, rates 7.5/10 This shrimp empanada is my #1 favorites.
