The 2nd Marine Division Association recommended Sywanyks. Sywanyks welcomed us with open arms. Talk to Patty. She is awesome and knows what she is doing! She helped with catering and hosting the event. The cater, Hilda's, was awesome and everyone loved the food. The guys and their families loved the Marine memorabilia and entire place. The method that they use to make their heads is a little off, I prefer to pack them differently, you shouldn't need to have all your coals gathered in the middle to get decent clouds, but for how cheap they are I can deal. Amanda was really sweet and very attentive. Liked the music.

this goes to my last review william this is tony kellum from the hideaway,we have a misunderstanding,your game was just moved to the big screen so it had sound it was in over time and it was the best game on at the time,also i had customers who had been there 2 hours waiting on their game which had already started-we only have 8 receivers but we have 15 tvs that means some at the bar are connected to tvs along the walls so when they are changed to a different game it changes other tvs along the wall, was not intentional. as to our policy my bartender pointed out to me that you had not purchased anything but was eating and watching your game, if you had purchased 1 soda nothing would have been said,by the way i was alright when i got your game on right in front of you, you thanked me i believe. there is a sign right over the food that says it is for paying customers, due to the fact of several people have taken advantage of my hospitality on sundays, we've had people come for the food and leave with a plate of food for their families 40 or 50 bucks worth and never spend a dime. this has been the reason for our change of policy, if it was said or communicated that you had friends coming nothing would've gotten to this point.we do not appreciate bad reviews we take this very seriously when simple communication would have solved this. you have to understand that the food and the games are expensive, they are to promote my business and increase sales. if you were eating all we ask is to buy a product that we sell. the raffle is to help with paying for the food but it never does even close. my wife and myself work sometimes 10 hours on the food for sundays its a way to give back to my loyal customers that help pay my bills. sorry for the misunderstanding. read more

There is always dudes making out in the bathroom and some gunnys wife is always there trying to yell at marines because "her husbands a gunny" I used to go here a lot but it unfortunately became a stereotypical marine bar read more
