I ordered it, and they were shipped very fast, however when they arrived it was not even close, the only thing they got right was there was 4 speakers. They sent (4) 6.5" SPKRS. What was in my car was (2) 8" & (2) 3.5" Hi Fi told me that they sent the right spkrs. For my car. I then talked to the dealer and they said, that is what I had in my car was what came standard in my car. I then spoke to Hi Fi and they said that the dealer was wrong, they even checked with another audio company & were told they had the correct ones for my car and I was wrong. They approved return shipment (not the cost to ship) when they got it back they also charged me a restocking fee of 25% then when I complained they adjusted restocking fee to 75%. I bought the PVSP4 three-way bi amp 4000 Watt speakers. The speakers in the picture on their website was not what I received. These were a different smaller model made in China. Then after I got them hooked up, I realized there was no highs coming out of one of the speakers. When I looked inside where the high compression speaker is located, I saw nothing but the back of the speaker box as if there weren't one in there. After taking the speaker apart, I find that the high compression horn had been cracked and the speaker hanging by the negative speaker wire. I have made several phone calls to hi-fi sound connection only to receive meaningless lip service. They claim that it's all UPS's fault that the speakers are broken however for $2000 you would think that would include insurance on the shipping. It's been over a month now and they refuse to help me in any way. so do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from these people because all they will do is take your money and rip you off. read more

Bought speakers to replace the original Camaro 2001 speakers. The harness that was bought with it does not fit the original harness. When contacting them they wanted a picture that I sent using the email about 10 times and they say that they cannot receive it. Hifi Sound Connection was the first scam website I've been tricked into submitted my payment information to in years. I'm usually pretty good about keeping an eye out for these kinds of things, but I didn't realize what I had fallen into until I had already clicked submit payment. It felt fishy when I didn't get a confirmation email, then I started looking up reviews online for the company, and that's when the truth started to come out. I immediately called my bank and disputed the charge, and called Hifi Sound Connection. Thankfully they picked up, and stated that the reason I didn't receive a confirmation email was because I had a different billing address than my shipping address (which many other online reviewers had apparently been told was on issue as well). Then I was told they can't cancel my order because my "card was declined"...like what kind of logic train are they working with here??? My card was declined because I disputed the charge with my bank. It's taken a few weeks, but I can safely say I finally fought them enough to take the charge off. I absolutely would not use this company or recommend it to anyone. I ordered some truck audio equipment for my son for Christmas at the first of Dec. I received the shipment in a flimsy cardboard box with no packing protection. The speaker box was broke in half and the speakers were warped. We thought it must be bad luck to so returned the items with the assurance from their management that the equipment would be packed securely and sent back to us. We received the second package in an equally flimsy box. Every corner of the speaker box was damaged and speakers again warped. Everyone I talk to at HiFi Sound Connections blames this all on UPS. Thanks to the fantastic customer service at HiFi Sound Connection, Crutchfield now has a customer for life. I purchased a pair of speakers that were advertised as "direct fit replacements" for my 09 Kia Spectra. The package consisted of one set of 6.5" class round speakers and one set of 6x8" oval speakers. Neither of which are direct fit for the range of years they listed. All four stock speakers for 00-09 Spectra's are round and an adapter ring is required for ALL aftermarket speakers. Strike one on me for not just trusting Crutchfield. I contacted them about this and they were happy enough to swap the 6x8s for another pair of the 6.5" speakers. If I paid return shipping. So, their product is improperly described, they made false claims about fitment and then they require that I pay for shipping their deceptively described product back to them. Fine. Whatever. I'll pay another $10 to get the right set of speakers.... So I have them process the label and they issued a label with my home address as the destination... What a fucking joke. If I were going to do this all over again, I would have just paid the extra few dollars to buy the right items and all necessary installation parts from a reputable outlet that actually bothers to check fitment like Crutchfield.com The HiFiSoundConnection is the absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever experienced. read more

GO TO CRUTCHFIELD! I bought $30 tweeters that they advertised as replacements for my 2011 Camry. I received them only to find out that they were way too big. Of course I neglected to read their return policy, so after I was authorized for the return, I did just that. There is a 10 dollar minimum restocking fee (or 20% of your whole order). Which, to me, is pretty ridiculous. The fact of the matter is they lied about those tweeters being replacements for my car, and then they expect me to pay the restocking fee+ shipping. Ordered a manufacturer refurbished Chauvet LED light that arrived broken. Replacement arrived broken as well. I emailed asking for another replacement but requested to have it tested before it left the shipper. All communication prior to this point was via email and was short, concise and efficient. Received a phone call at 5:30PM local time from a blocked number. Answered inquiring why a reputable business would block their number and was told "oh it shouldn't be that way". Last time I checked the telephone system was not experiencing "random blocked number bugs". The person calling was not able to clearly get their point across and should not have been calling customers. I inquired as to why after numerous email correspondence would they randomly decide to call me and was not able to receive an answer as to why. They informed me that they could not test a replacement unit prior to shipment as they are drop shipped from the manufacturer and wanted to know if I still wanted a replacement or just a refund. This would have been a simple reply of: yes, just ship replacement if this would've been done via email. Do not do business with this company. There's no reason why employees should be deciding randomly to call people via blocked numbers at 5:30PM to ask simple yes or no questions. Beyond that: they are scammers. They purchase bulk, refurbished equipment that hasn't been tested and sell it as "100% working order". I was in the market for a new stereo system for my 2016 Jeep JKU. I actually had been planning on ordering all of the components from this company including subs, amplifier, head unit, speaker box and wiring. However, after reading all the horrible reviews, I decided not to order with them. Yet, they had a $109 custom fit speaker box for my vehicle and I couldn't find a comparable box anywhere near that price. Most of them were in excess of $250. I figured at $109 with free shipping, it'd be worth the risk so I ordered it. I placed my order on 2/27/17 after business hours. On 2/28/17, I received an email that my payment had been received. A few hours later, I received a notification that my order had shipped with tracking information. Two days later, my box arrived via UPS at my house. The box was well made and very sturdy. It was heavy enough that it took two people to lift and carry it to the jeep. Once in the Jeep, it fits correctly and looks good. The company, after much arguing, agreed to send a replacement but not before the wrong part was returned at my cost. Cost me $35 to send the part back when they were the ones that sent the wrong part. They claimed that the Chevy avalanche I had was Mexican made whereas it would have fit an American made avalanche. I recently purchased a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and wanted to upgrade the stock speakers. My wife ordered the "Jeep Wrangler 1997-2006 Factory Speaker Replacement Kicker DSC46 DSC65 Package" as part of my birthday present. On the bright side, the price was really good, about the price of one set of speakers when you get two sets. The down side? The provided speaker harnesses didn't fit and the soundbar speakers didn't fit without doing some minor surgery to reduce them down.
