And she offered to clean my windows and told me she was experienced at window cleaning. My home is 2 story, she had been there serveral times. On the day of the window cleaning she did not have a ladder that allowed her to reach the second story windows. She clearly had no experience with exterior window cleaning. The interior service were barely satisfactory but I did continue booking with her because it was good enough. But over all she got about 1/2 of the work done as prior cleaners I have had over the years. She did not appear to know how to manage her time. On one visit she spent almost 1/2 of the time booked in 1 secondary bedroom and even bragged that she washed all the walls in that room which she knew was not regularly occupied, and then rushed through the downstairs with very little time in the kitchen. I always booked for 5 hours and she could not even touch the floors or do any vacuuming during her 5 hour scheduled cleanings. Past cleaners have thoroughly cleaned my entire home, including vacuuming all floors and upholstery and mop all hardwood floors. Then, today, an appointment scheduled for 9:00am, which was booked 2 months ago and confirmed yesterday, she cancelled less than two hours prior to her scheduled arrival. This was in response to my message that I told her I needed to cancel my scheduled OCTOBER appointment then to resume in November. She wrote back and told me it was a waste of her time. Anyway they didn't even show up until 4:30. It was one guy. No helper no nothing. I was told on the phone there would be two people. Whatever, my husband was there and did the walk through with them for them to assess what they would be cleaning and pointing out what would be cleaned. Let me tell you that this job wasn't completed until after midnight and I cannot tell you wth they did because it sure as heck wasn't the windows. The house is only 1100 square feet. 2 bedrooms and we didn't even want them to vacuum the rooms because the carpet is new. Anyway they gave us a discount for showing up late, great right? Yeah ok, until we go back to look at the property the next day because we have a one year old and can't load him in the car at midnight to go look at the house. Here's what you need to know. THEY DON'T DO THE TOP OF THE WINDOWS. According to Art or Artie they do the sills, and he told me to look the word up in the dictionary (RUDE) but whatever let's keep going lol. Today (08/15/20) Artie calls and we have the mother of all conversations. He tells me that eventually the wife and daughter show up to help and it took them over 12 hours to clean and wants $405 for the job. He then goes on to insult the house by saying "You can't turn a frog into a prince" I thought it was funny because I feel like if I cleaned something for 12 hours, it would certainly not be complained about. I would also like to add that he told my husband that they had not eaten and would need to stop to get dinner, which is fine of course, but NONE of that would have taken place had you showed up when you were supposed to or rescheduled. This all goes hand in hand with the level of professionalism 1. They showed up with no walk through paperwork. No checklist, nothing that would identify the company. Once he walked through the house he should have determined that it was "Too dirty" and not taken the job. But he took the job knowing the task. Had he had a walk-through checklist he would have also been able to point out that he wasn't going to wipe the top of the windows or clean the inside of drawers 2. If you have inconvenienced your customer in such a way that their schedule was extremely compromised (I missed my furniture pick-up waiting for these people) you would think that they could (at the very least) have done the complete windows. *******Update******I have spoken to Art again and we have come to an agreement. He's not a bad guy, just trying to make a living as an independent contractor for a company that is apparently owned by an unprofessional moron.

Was quoted $295 ($290 for cash discount) for 1 1/2 bathrooms, counters, and general dusting. Took them upwards of almost 4 hours. Afterwards I was told by multiple people they really overcharged me and I see it now...I could've done the same exact cleaning job they did. Nothing special. However, I'm on bed rest so I couldn't. I also don't know how common this is in the cleaning service field but they give you a 1 hour window for them to arrive for your appointment. I get that traffic etc plays a part of when people can show up places, but if I'm making an appointment for a service I would think they should arrive on time so I'm not waiting around for an hour for them to show up and then cancel plans planned for later in the day because they showed up at 11 instead of 10 like my appointment was set for... I had set an appointment for them to come back the following week to vacuum and clean my baseboards before others told me they overcharged me. My appointment was for 10am and it's currently 10:45am and just received a call letting us know they aren't going to be coming because their cleaner woke up with a cold...I understand people wake up sick all the time, but to wait til 45 mins after my scheduled appointment time to call and let me know is ridiculous.
