My Chevy Silverado 2021, it seems has issues by the manufacturer on the emissions system and I had to pay for my own repairs until I looked it up this last time. They wanted to charge me $500 just for the part, not including the 6-hour fee for putting it in and I found online while I waited for it to get fixed that it was a recall item in emissions. Then they didn't charge me after I showed the issue on my laptop that I happen to have with me. I have had to deal with emissions issues now for several years and I only have 40,000 miles on it. The people that work there are very nice, but the problem left me devastated until I found the recall. If I hadn't found it online, I would have maxed out my credit card if I had enough to cover the charge. I have done business with High Country for over 30 years, and this is the worse problem I have ever had. I also had to wait all day with no transportation available. This is a common occurrence. I will be going to a different dealership for my next car or truck.

Took car in to have parking assist camera replaced per recall notice I received at house. They…read morewould not fix it b\c they claimed it wasn't on recall (Ford's website says it is). Told them that camera is doing exactly what website says is reason for recall. They offered to fix it for $1,200+. I looked the Ford part up on the website on my phone and it was $48. Asked the guy about it and he gave me a "that's what it costs and we have to order a $700 part. He showed me his phone and it was a different part. Told him, no, I think I'll try myself. I ordered a $40 camera on eBay and it took me 30 minutes to fix myself. Damn thing works perfectly now. Yes, I am happy I saved that money and fixed it myself. However, if this is the kind of markup that these guys make on a simple repair, think of what they do to everyone else for other stuff- especially folks like my mom or other folks, who cant fix their stuff by themselves.

Now my credit has a hard inquiry for nothing, and I was essentially strung along twice. This dealership wasted my time, damaged my credit, and showed they are not transparent or trustworthy.
