Consistently excellent for a no-frills park. Have stayed here many times. The plus is it's also Good Sam.

There's a beautiful stream running through the entire site. The tables were clean, which is something that is rare in a camp site. There is also a pool and one community fire pit. Also lots of security and extra vehicle parking in back. This place has some of the most beautiful trees! Everything is green and well maintained. We met the manager, Dusty who was very kind and accommodating. There are alot of amenities for everyone. I would recommend this place highly

This is a popular campground, so you will need to make your reservation well in advance, especially for the nicer/more private sites. I visited on Labor Day weekend, and the campground was full. Lots of kids running around. But our campsite (B20) was very secluded and private, and we had a wonderful stay! The location was close to the bathroom but not too close to our neighbors, which is our favorite combination. The lake was extremely low.. seeing the boat dock was almost comical, as it looked like a high dive over a long stretch of rocks! But it was also sad to see this, as I'm sure the lake was even more beautiful when full. My picture makes the lake look like a tiny swamp, but there was actually room for paddle boarding/kayaking. I didn't go in, as walking through muck to get to the actual water isn't really my thing. But I can see how it would be a fun day for a family with kids. Many of the campsites didn't have a private feel to them, so I would recommend browsing pictures online before choosing your site if you're picky like me. I did an inventory of the most private sites, so few free to msg me for more info. I will be back here for sure!

I had no idea it would be that way, but it was a gorgeous drive. It's $10 for the day, on your honor since there was no guard in the booth. Be sure to grab an envelope to stick in your dashboard! The lake and beach area is BEAUTIFUL! Bring your own life jacket, paddle boards, rafts, and kayaks out and enjoy the sunshine. The lake doesn't seem to have much of a current, so it's a great place to float and row around! I believe you can fish as well. You may be able to find a picnic bench or two, but plan on bringing your own seating and overhead coverings, because it is HOT in August! This is definitely a hidden gem in the Uinta National Forest, and we will be back! Enjoy!

I booked online, received an email confirmation and then an email on the day of the reservation with instructions to check in. I followed the instructions, but it still told me to go to the office. When I arrived, there was no one in sight. After several minutes, someone did show up and gave us a map and vague directions-saying that the site numbers were backwards, and circled our spot on the map. We found it, but the sites were not backwards, they were numbered totally different than the map (the map showed T1, T2, T3, etc. and the tent sites were labeled A, B, C, etc.) The sites were all overgrown with weeds and there was one picnic table to share between them all. We walked the property a bit and found that everything is in disrepair, run down and in need of maintenance. I expect natural vegetation, of course, but the weeds with prickly stickers were everywhere, and impossible to avoid. The bathrooms are a pretty long haul from the tent sites, requiring campers to walk a good distance. Only one of the four stalls in the women's restroom lock and there were no paper towels in the container. I didn't attempt to use the shower after seeing how dirty they were. We stopped by the store around 5:30 to buy firewood and it was closed. That seems pretty early to close up on a weekend. We paid about $30 for a night but even that might have been too much. Hopefully the new management makes some much needed changes.

Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures they post online--those are from years ago when the park first opened. Today, this place is a neglected, hazardous dump run by a toxic, completely unprofessional management team. We moved in on December 27th, renting a lot and an 18-foot camper for $750/month. We were assured it was "move-in ready." That was a blatant lie. On our first day, I opened the fridge/freezer combo, and hundreds of German cockroaches fell out of it like Niagara Falls. It required three separate bug bombs just to make the place semi-livable. On top of that, Mario, the manager, left a whole turkey in the freezer that thawed out and leaked putrid turkey juices all over the appliance. There was also absolutely no hot water because the water heater had a massive crack in it. It leaked so severely that it saturated the floor, causing the kitchen floor to visibly sag. When they finally came to "fix" the water heater, they smashed a massive hole in the side of the camper and just left it wide open. Because of their negligence, my cat escaped, and my girlfriend and I spent three agonizing days waiting for him to return. Thankfully, he did. The windows were also broken and just covered with cardboard and tape, and the sink was completely backed up because the previous tenant had dumped a hoard of pennies down the drain. When I confronted the manager, Mario, about these biohazards and structural failures, he didn't offer to fix them immediately. Instead, he coldly offered a refund. He knew exactly what he was doing--he put us in a position where we either had to live in a roach-infested, broken camper or be homeless. We had to stay and watch them take their sweet time doing bare-minimum repairs. When anyone has a legitimate issue with the park, Mario gets incredibly rude, nasty, and aggressive. If you express how unhappy you are with the conditions, management's official response is literally: "Don't like it? Move." Management is rarely even on-site--maybe once or twice a month--but they sure know how to cause drama. They constantly spread lies around the park claiming we weren't paying our bills, which is defamation. We have every single receipt proving we have paid on time, every single month. Furthermore, the utility situation is a massive rip-off. There is only one meter for the entire park. Management leaves the lights on and the AC blasting at 68 degrees constantly in common areas, and because of the single meter, the tenants are forced to split the bill for their energy waste. You are also paying out of pocket for "amenities" like a laundry room that should be covered. The park looks like absolute shit. The boat dock is in such disrepair it will literally ruin your boat if you try to use it. Worse than the infrastructure is the total lack of safety. They will let anyone move in here, including active drug users and people with violent, dangerous criminal records. To give you an idea of how dangerous this place is, I accidentally butt-dialed the police once. When the cop arrived, he literally told me that they get so many emergency calls for this park--ranging from domestic abuse to drug issues--that they are forced to come out and physically verify everyone is okay, even for a confirmed accidental dial. The police are fully aware of how awful this place is. There is also zero confidentiality. Management acts friendly to get your money, but once you are locked in, they treat you like garbage and spread your personal business. They literally told brand-new tenants intimate, private medical details about a resident living here with cancer. It is deeply disrespectful, unethical, and disgusting behavior. They trap you, lie about you, neglect the property, and treat you like absolute shit. For the love of God, stay the hell away from Lakeside Haven RV Resort and Mario.
