PROS - nice, welcoming owners - full hook-ups - level, gravel RV sites - clean restrooms/showers - free WIFI - dogs allowed - playground for kiddos - swimming pool during warmer seasons - game room - horseshoe pits - picnic table and lush green grass at each site - laundry room - Good Sam discounts available - close enough to Nephi for eateries or some shopping - host stays on site in an RV CONS - fire rings are not available at all sites - Highway 132 is busy even in the middle of the night (I'm a light sleeper, though) - Verizon mobile service very spotty or non-existent A one night stay (9/10/17) for a pull-through site with full hook-ups for 2 adults and 2 children was $46.60. 2017 Yelp Challenge 98/100

There's a beautiful stream running through the entire site. The tables were clean, which is something that is rare in a camp site. There is also a pool and one community fire pit. Also lots of security and extra vehicle parking in back. This place has some of the most beautiful trees! Everything is green and well maintained. We met the manager, Dusty who was very kind and accommodating. There are alot of amenities for everyone. I would recommend this place highly

It was cheaper than getting a hotel in town and sounded more adventurous. We were sold on having a bathhouse with a shower and flush toilets. There is also a sink to do dishes in and outlets to charge your electrical devices. The nice thing is that the campground is right off the main road through town if you need to pick up anything or want to eat out instead of cooking your own food. Up the Creek Campground has 16 tent-only sites that are nestled within a grove of large shaded trees. If you want to cook your own food here at the campground, there are grilling stations. There are also patio games like Corn Hole near the community area. I was a little worried about noise because this place is a few blocks from the main road. But everything was surprisingly very peaceful for us. The best part about this place was being a short drive from both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The only bummer during our time here was a major rainstorm that passed by one day. It rained hard for hours that day. Up the Creek Campground offers sensible weather coverage per day if it rains over 1.5 mm per hour for over 2 hours during daytime hours. I appreciated the refund for that day because we had to take shelter in our tent most of the day. Great place if you don't mind camping. You can walk up or book ahead of time.

The 3rd Grill was across camp in another person area at 9:30pm. Meals ruined now. Have fun finding food at this hour. Shouldn't mention a Creek that you can't see or access. Couldn't believe how many Triggers I got attacked by! Moved down by the Colorado River, didn't have that issue? The table that is Covered in Tree Ooze, that they can't seem to just move to eliminate the issue. Or maybe as they text me about the Propane issue; they will get to it tomorrow. Not a Happy Camper! Especially since I got charged for a night I wasn't there! At least there was a Shower? And the other Travelers! That's it!

I'm not sure if this is the norm for this area or not. The beauty itself was just to die for (for its area). I have always traveled through the state, and I always hated it. I-70 it's is, ugh! With that being said, we are planning to go back out next year (not for the Jeep Safari, but that would be awesome) to do more trails.

Shal W. described this place as a gem. I could not agree more. It's so beautiful. Clean. Well-maintained. It sits up on a mesa. Sunsets are incredible. The stars at night are so vibrant. One camper nearby claimed that she saw a mountain lion earlier that day (8/31/17). Reservations are available online, but note that 4 sites are non-reservable. I reckon that's how Frank M. scored a site even when the sign said "campground full." AMENITIES - back-in and pull-through RV sites each with tent pads - RV electrical hookups - shaded concrete pad with built-in metal picnic table - fire rings & charcoal grills - flush toilets (no showers, though - NOTE: they truck all the water in) - pets allowed - open year round When we were there, another campground was being built. It's slated to open this fall (2017). TIPS - research places to refill your RV's water tanks if you're traveling on - there are no refill stations, only dump station - yurts are also nearby to rent - visitor's center & "Pony Expresso Coffee Shop" are close by LNT - Leave No Trace. Only footprints. #613 2017 Yelp Challenge 79/100

Huge, clean, beautifully decorated, comfy beds, adorable porch...seriously, everything you could want. But then came the shower...and it was a complete disaster. The water pressure was a joke. I've never experienced anything so pathetic in my life. You could barely get wet, let alone wash yourself. It was like trying to shower under a dripping faucet in slow motion. I swear you could spit harder than the water came out. I left the shower feeling more dirty than when I went in. This wasn't just inconvenient--it ruined the stay. It's heartbreaking, because the cabin was otherwise amazing and the price was great. But if you actually need to bathe, don't even consider staying here. The shower alone is a dealbreaker.

What's more, the manager told us that we would not need a water regulator to hook up to city water. We did not hook up to their water, which was a good thing because when we turned the valve to fill a water bottle, it sprayed out under very high pressure. I do not recommend park. All of the spaces were dirt and gravel. There was no trees no landscaping at all and construction currently going on in the lot where the RV park is. Trust me skip this one. There are lots of other places around Hanksville to put your RV, including public land and big parking lots.
