This is a fun little old school campground with nice showers, clean laundry facilities and a beautiful pool! Our camp spot had mature trees for shade and was nice and quiet. Very relaxing! We will be by again if we are back in the area. read more

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolute Slum Conditions & Toxic Management. If I could give Lakeside Haven RV Resort negative stars, I would. Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures they post online--those are from years ago when the park first opened. Today, this place is a neglected, hazardous dump run by a toxic, completely unprofessional management team. We moved in on December 27th, renting a lot and an 18-foot camper for $750/month. We were assured it was "move-in ready." That was a blatant lie. On our first day, I opened the fridge/freezer combo, and hundreds of German cockroaches fell out of it like Niagara Falls. It required three separate bug bombs just to make the place semi-livable. On top of that, Mario, the manager, left a whole turkey in the freezer that thawed out and leaked putrid turkey juices all over the appliance. There was also absolutely no hot water because the water heater had a massive crack in it. It leaked so severely that it saturated the floor, causing the kitchen floor to visibly sag. When they finally came to "fix" the water heater, they smashed a massive hole in the side of the camper and just left it wide open. Because of their negligence, my cat escaped, and my girlfriend and I spent three agonizing days waiting for him to return. Thankfully, he did. The windows were also broken and just covered with cardboard and tape, and the sink was completely backed up because the previous tenant had dumped a hoard of pennies down the drain. When I confronted the manager, Mario, about these biohazards and structural failures, he didn't offer to fix them immediately. Instead, he coldly offered a refund. He knew exactly what he was doing--he put us in a position where we either had to live in a roach-infested, broken camper or be homeless. We had to stay and watch them take their sweet time doing bare-minimum repairs. When anyone has a legitimate issue with the park, Mario gets incredibly rude, nasty, and aggressive. If you express how unhappy you are with the conditions, management's official response is literally: "Don't like it? Move." Management is rarely even on-site--maybe once or twice a month--but they sure know how to cause drama. They constantly spread lies around the park claiming we weren't paying our bills, which is defamation. We have every single receipt proving we have paid on time, every single month. Furthermore, the utility situation is a massive rip-off. There is only one meter for the entire park. Management leaves the lights on and the AC blasting at 68 degrees constantly in common areas, and because of the single meter, the tenants are forced to split the bill for their energy waste. You are also paying out of pocket for "amenities" like a laundry room that should be covered. The park looks like absolute shit. The boat dock is in such disrepair it will literally ruin your boat if you try to use it. Worse than the infrastructure is the total lack of safety. They will let anyone move in here, including active drug users and people with violent, dangerous criminal records. To give you an idea of how dangerous this place is, I accidentally butt-dialed the police once. When the cop arrived, he literally told me that they get so many emergency calls for this park--ranging from domestic abuse to drug issues--that they are forced to come out and physically verify everyone is okay, even for a confirmed accidental dial. The police are fully aware of how awful this place is. There is also zero confidentiality. Management acts friendly to get your money, but once you are locked in, they treat you like garbage and spread your personal business. They literally told brand-new tenants intimate, private medical details about a resident living here with cancer. It is deeply disrespectful, unethical, and disgusting behavior. They trap you, lie about you, neglect the property, and treat you like absolute shit. For the love of God, stay the hell away from Lakeside Haven RV Resort and Mario. read more

Nestled in among the trees It was difficult to find. It is over grown, run down, and the noise of the airplanes over head were loud. Sites were tight, no privacy, picnic table wouldn't fit, couldn't put out our awning as the rig was wedge near a tree. Many of the sites were long term and clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Just a few minutes away from Utah Lake State Park you'll find this lovely campground-surrounded by trees. It has a feel to it that newer campgrounds don't always have-nostalgia, mature landscaping and a hint of down home hospitality. I believe this is a family run park. Check in was fairly simple and we were given a map and information sheet on the park. The sites are close together, but they have you pull in alternating directions, so you can give yourself a little more room on your door side. The sites have grassy areas, trees and gravel to park on. They are well maintained and they ask you not to park or put rugs down on the grass. There are also no fires allowed at the RV sites. We did not experience any noise issues beyond a few planes flying in to the nearby airport and lots of nature sounds around us. There are plenty of birds that call these trees home, along with a pasture of cows nearby that sang us songs in the morning (I think they were being herded or fed-either way, they had something to say about it.) There are bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities onsite. We used the showers and they were very clean and well maintained. The Provo River winds around the perimeter of the park. I didn't know that originally, but found out when I went for a walk and discovered a nice path and water. It's very pretty! There is wifi available-we had no trouble with it. There's also a nice dog run and a seasonal pool. We did not use either of them, but made note for future visits. This is a campground we will definitely return to! read more

Thought it would be great. Easy to work with but ultimately we were treated poorly by Toni prior to even arriving. She called after we missed the first night and asked if we still planned on being there. We told her that we did, after several more hours my wife called to cancel and tell her we were still a state away with vehicle problems. Toni called me wife a liar and refused to give any care or sense of customer service. I asked for her boss and she then rudely told me that she was all I was going to get and that her manager or the owner would not be there or speak with me. She called me back an hour later to tell me that she herself called the owner and that they would not be willing to converse more about it. As a business owner myself I find it hard to believe that a small business that is very customer oriented would even treat someone the way Toni did. Don't go here! We didn't and we're still charged after cancelling and explaining everything to Toni, who refused to let us speak with anyone above her. read more

Tony the lady up front is VERY rude and refused to give her supervisors name when a problem occurred. We were late on our reservation and decided we needed to cancel because of car trouble making it so we could not get to the park and she told me she didn't believe me? Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Plenty of other reviews of why you should not stay here. read more

My wife called around 6 pm on Monday 7/16 to inquire if they had a vacancy for 1 night. We arrived around 6:30 and had a strange feeling from the beginning. There were 2 people in the office, a male and a female. Male asked a bunch of questions and filled out a form which took him over half an hour. He asked if we wanted partial or full hook ups. My wife asked what the difference was and he answered "partial hook ups have water and electricity but no sewer hook up" We were ok with the partial hook ups and paid $64 for 2 adults and our 6 year old daughter which they consider an adult (!) This included an AARP discount. The lady who was sitting next to the door listen to each of his words and stayed quiet. After parking our 37 ft diesel pusher at the spot which was assigned to us we saw that there was no 50 amp hook up. The receipt only said "water and electricity" the 30 amp hook up wasn't mentioned. We went back to the office and explained that we would not be able to hook up our RV to a 30 amp outlet. Receptionist acted as if this was the first time he had ever heard about 30 and 50 amp outlets. Then it was "for 50 amps it's $5,- extra" When we told him that he should have mentioned the 30 amps before charging our credit card and that he should make it right, the lady who had been listening quietly in the background the entire time, suddenly barked "You have to pay that !!!". We asked for a refund and both explained that they didn't know how to process a refund. read more

The R.V. spots face each other, some share a picnic table. You open your door to dirt and there is some grass. Never saw a lake. RV's are too close together. Space was level. Did not use pool but it did appear nice. I wouldn't recommend due to the lack of space. read more

Too many rules, close spaces, nothing can go on the grass and there is no room to set up camp chairs. If you like living in your trailer instead of being outside, this place is for you. Laundry machines are expensive and quit working after I put in money. Two days was too long. Ended up moving to a different campground and loved it so much we stayed for 2 more weeks. read more

Easy check-in with friendly staff. Our site was clean and level but the back sides of the campers were a bit close so there was limited room between our slide out and the the trailer next to us. There is WiFi, but not fast enough to stream. It is a very clean campground and seems very well kept. Bathroom/Showers are clean and good pressure in the showers. The pool is a very comfortable temperature, not too cold. This is the second time I have stayed here and it has been a consistently good place to stay. read more

We are full time rv'ers. I love this park because it's close to all the fun activities and yummy restaurants in the valley. It's dark at night and quiet even though it's near the Provo airport. I have only heard one or two planes go by. The Wi-Fi is free and pretty fast. The only thing I don't love is that the bathroom is closed for two hours in the middle of the day! It would be nice if they only closed while being cleaned? Idk. Also no hot tub. Most of the places we stay at have them. The pool is clean and not over-chlorinated. This is the throes time we've stayed here since our boys are both at the university in Provo and I love visiting them. It's very peaceful here. There are some group campsites that have large fire rings and logs to sit on. Last night we had a relaxing fire with some people we had met at the pool that day. The price is higher than I'd like because there's no hot tub but the closeness to other activities is good. And the Wi-Fi. read more

On this vacation we traveled from Phoenix to Flathead Lake in Montana. We stayed at rv parks the whole way. Zion, Yellowstone,Bryce Canyon. When we pulled in I was so impressed. Each camp space has room to spread out. There are trees everywhere. Fountains running. Birds chirping. Everything is very clean. The store had rolls of quarters to buy for laundry. Plus they stay open until 9pm. The check in process was easy and they are so friendly. We used the laundry facilities which were really nice. I think they had 8 washers and dryers. My niece loved the playground. If I'm ever this way again I will stay here. read more

Emailed us confirmation and when we arrived, everything went smoothly and the office Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Site was level and easy to get into and out of... even with the TOAD hooked up. Plenty of length to the site to stay hooked to TOAD if you wanted too. Sites were close together... but not too bad. Site F-3 had a nice shade tree... but too close to fully extend awning. The park is older... but lovingly maintained. It has excellent access to I-15 North and South. We found the park very quiet and would enjoy staying longer next time and exploring around the Salt Lake "Utah Valley". We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome. read more

We were shown the door before we even got there We are coming into town to visit our daughter and I phoned for available spots and pricing $245 - week $440 - month I took the monthly price obviously. Later they phoned me back rescinding the offer stating I had to stay 2 months for that $440 rate So I took the 2 month offer Later they phoned me back stating I was not getting this offer because I had 2 dogs (which they knew about the whole time) By this time I realized we were not welcome. Pretty amazing to handle new potential customers this way...and we are nice people read more

Camped there for 4 days in August after camping in the Utah mountains for a week. Nice site K6 large and spacious with trees well shaded in the AM. Clean except for a broken table with spiderwebs but there was a spare plastic table we used instead and we hosed it off. Staff very friendly ground keepers keep it up regularly. Nice store, pool, restrooms and showers, and good laundry facility. All welcoming after camping. Close to Provo and nearby cities. Guests there were nice and friendly too quiet mostly. There is a nearby airport but not that bother some overall. Would recommend this RV Park. read more

This was just a quick stop on a two week trip for us, but there was nothing special about this place. Grounds were nice and clean but lots of bugs, not the RV parks fault but just a heads up. This campground in nice, it's clean, relatively quiet at night (private airport across the street) the planes do not fly at night. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five stars is they are a stickler for rules, they have posted constant signs around the camp in regards to the rules. Be prepared to be told three times from when you enter the women's bathroom to the toilet how to pee and how to flush. Also they are very anal about anything on the grass at the campsites. The pool is closed at dusk (kind of early for people that want to avoid children). I think the tent sites are great, kind of small but lots of grass where the tents go. Also per a couple of the reviews I agree the mosquitos are horrible, left with approximately 20 bites. All in all good place to stay just be prepared to feel like you can't do anything because yes they are watching from their golf carts and have plenty of bug spray day and night to cover you with. read more

Site was heavy with mosquitos and spiders. This was our sixth RV park this trip and by far the worst with bugs. Site was not level and the set up for the shared hookup with your neighbor very inconvenient and poorly positioned between sites. Neighbor pretty much had the hookups under his slide-out so not easy to get to. Ladies at checkin/running the store very young and immature. More interested in the boys that were hanging out rather than interacting with customers. Bathrooms were okay and the laundry room was clean but really needs a quarter machine. All in all disappointing given the Good Sam scores. read more

Absolutely beautiful campground, with large pull thru sites, big trees for shade, plenty of grass and is very well up kept. The only downside is the front desk staff is horribly rude and very unprofessional. The maintenance staff is very nice and should take over the front office. read more

Jammed in between an airport runway and an 8 Lane Highway this place is the very definition of noise not really what you want when you're in your RV and to add a bonus the pads are about a 6° grade which makes it almost impossible to level your motorhome read more

Situated on Utah Lake, other nearby attractions include the Seven Peaks Water Park, the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, and the Clas Ropes Course right next door. They have reasonable rates, and a staff that was friendly and helpful even after we called in and modified the arrangements several times. Also, because we made so many changes, we were convinced there was a problem with our bill. But they were courteous explaining that the printout, while confusing, was not what they charged to us. They did this without getting huffy, as I am sure many of you have seen others do. The RV slots are what you expect. Most with full hookups. They have a few RV sites that they use as tent sites. If you are tenting, I recommend that you avoid those 'smaller' sites and opt for the large ones if you can. There is a small pool, shower facilities, and coin-op laundry machines, The game room consists of a pool table and a couple 'classic' video games. The air conditioning is very good right there by the door to the pool. If you expect to use the internet, this is where you'll need to come to plug in. The wireless didn't provide consistent service over the week that we stayed there. You might have better luck. There is a small sandy play area for the kids with swings, see-saw, etc. Just make sure that they took care of the underground apiary before you let your kids near it. When we were there, a couple nights got windy and the cottonwood above us sounded like they were going to come crashing down. The 'cotton' covered practically everything. Oh yeah, don't forget your bug spray. read more

Campground was nice overall but sites were muddy - need more gravel in the sites. Noise from the train was very loud (wakes you up at night). Manager Dale was VERY rude and unhelpful. For being close to the train noise - campground price is too high. Also - a charge for family members (2 adults, 2 kids over six) is ridiculous! It would be better to drive a little further to find an alternate location to stay - or stay in the state camp ground next door. read more

Great friendly staff. For tent camping: They have 3 sections where people set up their tents. There are no designated sites. There are sporadic tables. The best area is in the back by the greenbelt. There's also the front area by the greenbelt which is my second choice. Stay away from the back area - you have to lug your belongings across a bride and you back up to a baseball stadium giant parking lot It's 10 min in to downtown Boise so a perfect location. Nothing special but beautiful grounds, grass in all the spots, big awesome trees, picnic tables in each spot, nice dice pull through and the staff was more than accommodating. Funny how web site pictures do not show the true picture. Site was way out of level for motor home Was to be a pull thru no way had to take jeep off to get into site. Roads not wide enough for 40 footer and jeep to turn into site . wifi BAD. Shared sites neighbors right on top of you. Dusty and very little gravel on site. At one time this might have been a nice R V park. Now its a fulltimer trailer park with some RV sites. The full timers took over. You know what that means. Stuff piled. Stayed one night. read more

Quick in and out stay. Got in 10 minutes after office closed. Paperwork was hung nicely on bulletin board. Was standing there looking at it and looking at park layout when one of the employees came out.What an awesome personallity this young man had! Made us both laugh, and then directed us to our spot. What a great little find! The park is very cute and even though the little airport is close, it's fun to watch the planes come and go. The wifi isn't very strong but meh, who needs wifi when you can walk the park and eat a Fat Boy ice cream sandwich. We are only here for one night as we are on our way home but we would come back. They have a large fenced dog run and lots of grass. There's a nice pool also that I won't get to enjoy this time. Only four stars because of the flies. read more

This quiet campground is tucked in between a busy street and the tranquil Provo river. It is quiet inspite of the busy road. Lots of easy walking trails. The campground has quite a few full time residents but it all blends together well. The swimming pool is well maintained and fun. The campground is always a work in progress. Seems like they are always working on trimming the huge cotton trees, raking the grounds, maintaining the playground, and campsites. This is a family favorite place for us. read more
