Each time I've spoken with High Desert Corporation, they have been very helpful and patient.

They gave misleading information, stating that only the Manager will be listed in the filing, then they listed both the Manager and Member. Even after two of their staff members promised that this would not happen. If you file in NM because of privacy, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Now, they refuse to provide a refund, don't stand by their mistake. The staff is extremely poorly trained, and the management lacks integrity and does not operate ethically. I just created an LLC with them and the process has been great. Super fast, in less than a week I had an LLC up and running, including the EIN. AS for customer service, I had to contact them because I had some questions (as I am not resident and wanted to clarify some aspects about my case), I first contacted them by email and they replied very fast. I received excellent customer service when calling with a question as a prior customer and additional questions as a returning customer. Phones were answered swiftly during business hours (I've spoken to 2 employees on different days because I had lots of questions). All my questions were addressed by very knowledgeable staff. Particularly, Amanda was super, super helpful and I felt like I understood concepts much better than I did before I spoke with her. There is a reason they charge $35 a year and better services charge $125 or more a year. You get what you pay for. No one answers the phones. No one answers emails. While I got my Colorado LLC dissolved correctly and my New Mexico LLC set up correctly they are now ghosts. And they incorrectly filed my S Corp. application with the IRS before they even had my New Mexico EIN and after 90 days they told me it was the IRS's fault instead of accepting it was theirs and they refused to help me. They actually forced me to file a brand new S Corp. application. It's 30 days later and I'm out $200 now and I still don't have an official S Corp application in front of the IRS. I'm in the process of dissolving my relationship with them and moving to a different registered agent. Pitiful excuse for Company and no wonder they don't have BBC accreditation because they wouldn't even receive a ranking. read more

Do Not! I repeat do not use this stupid registered agent company period the first thing is that they have trouble comprehending issues that clients have. I have to speak to the supervisor of thinking that she would also be more helpful but you might as well be calling a five-year-old. They have bait and switch business practices trust me you get what you pay for period these people will make you pay for things that they did for example like the address change of 2024 has inconvenienced up several llc's and they are making people pay for their mistake. No I don't even get a notice to the main address that is on my account what I got was a pop-up screen on the website stating that they have changed their address. When I was purchasing the service they were trying to sell it to me say that I could use a virtual address or their address for forms but now that I have this issue now they're saying they don't advise their clients to use their address. Amazing! In addition I found out that you can actually find out anyone who owns your LLC even if you're trying to be private, when I called The Corporate filings number for this franchise the only thing they asked me was what was the llc's name and in what state. What is the point of anonymity then??? I'm just glad that all my conversations with these people were recorded and if I have any IRS or banking issues guess who I'm going after. This company is a joke please stay far away from them these reviews are definitely honest and real. Oh and another thing when the supervisor called me back after a requested she saw that I had canceled the service right after the call that day and said she can make it up to me but she would like for me to reinstate services first but at the same time she didn't know how to provide an official document ..she needs to talk to higher management... mind you I still hadn't gotten my refund yet you still have the $35 I paid for registered agency why do you still want me to pay you an additional 35 dollars and you don't even know how you're going to provide me the service ...are you kidding me?? I also could just do it myself but what's the point of paying someone for this and what do you know the new mexico's secretary of state website is also down it's actually going to be down the rest of this week. This company does what they do fast and efficiently at reasonable prices. As a long-time entrepreneur I really appreciate this. Unfortunately, at the moment they seem to be short-staffed d/t the pandemic (so give them a little grace folx, aren't we all doing our best to recover from this crazy year?!). Yes like others I did encounter frustration with their lack of responsiveness to phone calls and emails the day I placed my order. But they did get back to me within 24 hrs. Answered all my questions, and were quick to remedy one small error that resulted in the timelapse between my order and the conversation. Good people. Fast service. Reasonable prices. I registered my new LLC on the New Mexico Secretary of State website on January 1 and chose this company as my registered agent just from a Google search. I emailed my Articles of Organization to them on the same day. By January 16th, I still had not received a response. I went to Wells Fargo to set up a business account, but the banker told me I could not do so until I had my signed Articles of Organization. After an email and two phone calls to this company, I finally received an email response with my signed Articles, but with no hint of an apology for the delay. I went back to the New Mexico Secretary of State's website to fill out the details about my LLC. On this company's website, the company name is New Mexico Registered Agent (here, the word "Agent" is singular). But on the Articles of Organization they emailed to me, a man named Bill typed the company name as Registered Agents Inc. (here, the word "Agents" is plural). On emails, the company's name appears as High Desert Corporate Filings LLC. But in the search feature on the Secretary of State's website, the company name is listed as New Mexico Registered Agents, LLC (again, "Agents" is plural there). Also, on the Secretary of State's website, the address for New Mexico Registered Agents, LLC, is listed as being on West Marcy Street in Santa Fe, but on the form the company emailed to me, the address is shown as being on Harkle Rd. in Santa Fe. With the egregious lack of response and the unbelievable number of inconsistencies in their own business name, there is no way I can trust this company with my new LLC. read more

I needed a local company to serve as registered agent for an entity formed there. New Mexico Registered Agent was on the first page of Google results (can't remember if it was sponsored or not) with a few negative reviews and a few positive ones. Here's the deal: Unless they were completely horrible at their jobs (which is a possibility but one I highly doubt) and made a complete 180 degrees turn, they're nothing short of exceptional. The process from initial contact form to completion was seamless and the response time was incredible. Disclaimer: I know what I'm doing and therefore I didn't require much of their attention or hands-on assistance but beyond that, the process is pretty foolproof. Came with an online portal for accountability and organization purposes, as well as all the necessary documentation to be in business within a matter of hours. Best registered agent service I've used thus far and at a very competitive price (especially if you don't need them to do everything for you). read more
