Front the moment of initial contact to the picking up of my dad's ashes everything was done with love, compassion and, grace. My family felt accompanied and understood. During the viewing everything was done with respect and we were given space and time to say goodbye to our dad. This was the first major death in our family our mourning process was made lighter by Renè and Catherine. They were all wonderful, including the staff from the office in Rialto. Honestly i feel like i got nickel and dimed...originally everyone said i could see my father before he is cremated and that it would only be $600 if i wanted to be there while he went into the crematory.....Well the next day after they took my dad i asked the director to see him and she said it would be $800...Well to my surprise they can basically charge you whatever they want for whatever they want because the advertised price for that is NOT $800 or $600 but $495...Not to mention the basic cremation price is $995 and i got charged over $1,600 and the only "extra" i got was the $100 plastic urn and extra death certificates, definitely nothing equivalent to what i was charged...Of course no response to my email inquiring why my price was much higher than the advertised price..They have had my dad for 3weeks now and last week said "well he should have been cremated today"...Couldn't even confirm if he was cremated already or not...I have called this place the entire time for updates, you are kinda just left in the dark about everything, i have never experienced service like this from a funeral home before.I guess if you don't spend $2-6k on a funeral with them you are not priority.Hopefully my dad is home soon, i should have done a lot more research.Horrible feeling to be grieving and getting taken advantage of, and for my dad to not even be treated like he matters, just another body..UPDATE Just picked my father up and he was actually cremated a week before the day they told me "he should have been cremated today"...insensitive people as well definitely wont do business here again read more

Worked with Joyce and was very unhappy with her service. My brother passed away on January 20 and I finally got his ashes on March 13. During each of the steps along the way, if she said it would be 1 day it turned out to be 3 days. If she said it would be a week, it was two weeks. The Service was excellent that after part was the Worst experience in my life DO NOT USE ALLEY from there company... i went to Alley because i was referred to her because my Sister in Law used her, the cremation went well but after when it was time to Get the Death Certificates she first told me she can mail them out so i said perfect i work and live in west Los Angeles and i can not make the drive. Today Monday 3/2/26 she text back saying she has to charge $30 to mail it.. I work for the USPOSTAL Service and i never have seen anyone pay $30 for certified letters, $0.74 standard $8.95 certified or $12.95 with Signature.. why are you trying to snake me for more money Alley? i spent over $3k plus you charged me already money to request the Death Certificates from the county.. Don't ever use them if this is the type of Money Hungry games they play i will and am going tofile a complain with BBB.. she told me she would mail them out free of charge and now $30.. I HAVE ALL THE TEXT IF YOU NEED PROOF.. My sister recently passed away, and Rene was very good to me. She was professional, kind, respectful, and compassionate all when it was needed most. She was very attentive and responsive. This is not an industry where just anyone should work. But I feel like Rene had a calling for this job, and she did it all very well. The people here have zero respect or regard for you or your deceased loved ones, it is obvious this establishment only cares about money, just another day in the office for them. The prices are atrocious and they take total advantage of your loss. They took way too many days to pick up my brother from the coroner, and even more time to get him back to us after he was cremated. They dodge all calls and e-mails for weeks at a time and overcharge for the slightest of things. In all honestly I hope this establishment loses all business. Very disappointed that this place is taking advantage of people who are in grief. The older lady that helped us originally, decided to Not be available for any type of communication after we made the arrangements. Would not and still has not returned any emails or phone calls in regards to the death Certificate and our request to cancel services we paid for due to covid 19. We are asking for a refund because we aren't able to hold a service at this time. The company has only reached out to us for payment which we paid immediately, or they were not going to continue with the cremation. I called in the late evening and they were the only one open. In my grief and confusion, Rene was so patient and informative with me. Everyone was so professional and understanding of our grief. I never felt pressured. I had lots of questions and many changes and Rene always was patient. She returned my calls and always had an answer. She really came through for me. Ms. Rene was very thoughtful and kind and made sure that we were satisfied with the arrangements. She handled us very professionally and with the utmost respect. She took very good care of us. I would say have patience with them as they are dealing with the doctor who must sign off on the passing and the state which takes forever to process a death certificate. Loosing my father has been a long and painful experience this last few weeks. I have to say that David Wright is one of the most kind and undestanding people in the industry. When they came and picked my father up (with military honors), they allowed me to help them place the flag and his body on the bed for transport, they provided full detailed information about the process of cremation, no hidden fees and very reasonable pricing. If I could give this no stars, I absolutely would. This business is terrible from the start. Catherine assisted us and was extremely slow from start to finish. When we went in to drop off the payment for my brothers cremation, she told us it would cost $300 to dress my brother for the viewing. $300 just to lay a shirt on top of him. My mother told her from the very beginning she did NOT want my brothers remains shipped back to their facility once he was cremated, that she wanted to go pick him up from San Bernardino. She said ok and he was shipped anyway. Total disregard for the clients wants not to mention the disrespect to the deceased family member. The viewing was March 9 and he was cremated and ready on Apr 2. They said he would be ready in 3-4 weeks after the viewing. My mom has been calling and emailing for weeks with no response from Catherine whatsoever. Anytime she calls she leaves a voicemail and still receives no response. Yesterday on April 20, 6 weeks since the viewing, Catherine finally called my mom back and told her that he is ready to be picked up. My mom goes to pick him up and they say he's been ready since April 2. I'm sure you can imagine how she felt! Then my mom asked for his death certificate to be mailed to her and Catherine said it would cost an additional $27 to mail it to her. She's a city away. It does not cost $27 to mail a death certificate. This place is the worst and treat the deceased and their family members like shit. They have no respect or any regard for their feelings in their time of grief and mourning. This place is a joke and the way they handle things is UNACCEPTABLE. If you want the best for your loved one, I would not recommend this business as they are NOT reliable whatsoever. You will be so disappointed with the process. It should have never taken this long. The price listed on their website has been changed over a year ago! It states $695 for basic cremation with, I believe, everything included. That price was nearly doubled when I called them. Add to that the exorbitant extra weight costs and weekend pick up brings the total to nearly $2000! There ought to be laws about pricing for the deceased, that the price be fixed and upfront, and the hell with this bait and switch. The hell with this place. I had little choice but to pay them.
