Visited here on a Saturday afternoon, it lives up to its name. The ambiance was male & female welcoming, a nice selection of cigars in the humidor at reasonable prices, and very comfortable. I love that they have a coffee bar. The staff and other guests were very welcoming. You can bring food in and it is BYOB. I will definitely come back the next time I'm headed to NY or just feel like taking a drive to an upscale and comfortable cigar lounge. read more

I went to this place on Super Bowl Sunday and as I parked I had the thought that they might have a ticketed Super Bowl party - and they did... I bought and smoked one stick before I had to move on as they closed early to prep for the party. Tactical error on my part. Oops. :) Good sized place with a nice walk in humidor. Plenty of places to sit, an abundance of ashtrays, a bevy of TVs, good ventilation. Friendly crowd, happy employees and did I mention the full bar? Impressive cigar lounge. Upscale furnishings with plenty of leather chairs, couches and several tables. The humidor is large with a great selection of many quality items. There is a smoke for every taste. While you are welcome to BYOB, there is a bar to sit at and enjoy your drink and smoke with the staff's full attention for glasses and ice. Several wide screen TV's for the various sports and great background music if you just want to chill. An extremely friendly cigar crowd makes everyone feel welcome. Fabulous cigar lounge tucked away in Scotch Plains, NJ. Lovely venue with an awesome cigar selection and a great atmosphere. Arrived Saturday evening with my wife and we had a lovely time. I absolutely fell in love with this place. Not only is it close to home, but it's cozy, the ambiance is wonderful, everyone is happy, and the owners took the time to introduce themselves since they saw new faces. Needless to say, I will be back.. it is one of those places you can bring your friends to catch up, play cards, or if you're like me - bring your laptop to do some homework at this place while sipping on some wine and smoking a cigar. read more

Thursday night marked my third visit to "High End. " Each visit has yielded a pleasant experience. The owners are a husband and wife duo, both being warm and sociable with their patrons. The employees are helpful and make you feel comfortable. The establishment itself is very well done and exudes class. It boasts a generous sized humidor with great selections. I've met new people, had great conversation, and added new sticks to my collection. Put "High End" on your calendar. You will not be disappointed. read more

Just found out there is a cigar lounge near my house. Stoped by today to check. I can definitely give 5 star for interior, service and fairly good selection of cigars. I would definitely make this my regular spot to have a good smoke. Great spot! Highly recommend!! read more

Anthony, the owner, is a true class act, making sure each and every customer is satisfied and goes above and beyond to provide premium service and attention to everyone. Not only is there cigar selection the best in the area, but it's also by far the best atmosphere to watch a game and smoke a cigar. High End needs to get control of their air filtration mess, and realize that there are two very nice and quiet restaurants on either side of them! They have positively polluted the inside of the Indian restaurant next to them with the stench of cigars. In addition, noise from their music system comes pounding through the wall into the Indian restaurant...to the point that one cannot hear the music playing in the restaurant! When I left the restaurant, my clothes reeked of cigars...they have started out being inconsiderate to other businesses in that row...I hope they can clean up their act and develop some more considerate practices. read more

The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.
