I came to SoHo Cigar Bar for the first time, and had a wonderful experience overall! The atmosphere is great, lots of premium seating both at the bar and at tables throughout the space. It's got a great upscale lounge vibe, with music that's not too loud. There's good ventilation to keep the cigar smoke from accumulating. And TVs are spread all over the space, so you can get a good angle from pretty much any seat. Service was excellent, friendly staff at the bar that helped with the cigars and drinks. Their menu has a wide selection of cigars (you can buy to go too), as well as lots of drinks and even some food. Really a full selection, impressive for a cigar lounge. This was a regular spot two of the four nights for a group of me and my friends are attended. It was around 20 of us. The hostess was great. She came around regularly got everybody's orders correct all the time. Visited 7/12/2025 I recently visited Soho Cigar Bar, and overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The decor has that classic lounge feel. Almost felt like a gangster movie vibe without the violence obviously. This is only the second cigar lounge I've tried in Manhattan, and while I found the drink prices a bit on the high side, that's pretty standard for the area. The cigar selection definitely makes it worth a visit. That said, the service left a lot to be desired. It was difficult to flag down any of the servers, and when I looked over at the bar, it seemed like the staff were more focused on arguing with each other and hanging out than checking on tables. It just took away from what could have been a top-tier experience. Still, I'd come back again.. hopefully on a night when the team is more focused. Very cool laid back cigar bar. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. You can take your cigars or purchase there. There is a cutting fee however it's waived if you spend ovr $XX. Now if you can eat and drink in a Smokey room then you will have non problems but this is the kind of atmosphere this is. There are a few TVs in the space, comfortable seating and tables, but chairs at the table are not on a swivel, which would make sense. The place can use an upgrade and some renovations. When I went the team was short staffed so service was a bit slow, but the girls were pleasant. Prices are what you expect in the area. Good music and lighting, and they had the game on. The server, Ayla, greeted me and handed me a menu. After a few minutes of acting like I knew what I was reading, she approached me and asked what I would like. With my tail between my legs, I told her how I was a phony and needed some help deciding, but I wanted a cigar that would put me on my ass. With a beaming smile she responded "no problem" and began patiently explaining the menu to me like I was a 5 year old if a 5 year old could smoke. We decided on the Candela and it was just what I was looking for. Put me on my ass. GREAT CALL AYLA! I opted not to get a drink as I have been on a bit of a bender, even though that Gatsby's Downfall was looking at me crraaaazzyyyyyyy. I paired the cigar with a cup of black coffee. Exaltation. All in all, I sat there for about 2 and a half hours enjoying the cigar, reading a bit (yeah I'm cultured af), writing this review, and just taking in the atmosphere. Came here for a date where we just ordered cocktails, but the staff was super kind and did not pressure us at all to order cigars or any additional drinks. Obviously super smokey in here from the rest of the patrons ordering cigars so the smell will stick to your hair and clothes afterwards, but the vibes are sexy and the drinks are strong.
