Another plus is that Shampoo Salon is a smaller salon with only 2-3 stylists working there. It's got a very chill, laid back vibe, unlike the new mega salons with about 25 stylists all working at the same time and rushing clients through like an assembly line.. I didnt want to make a scene I called my regular stylist when I got home and told him. He DID NOT CARE. He argued with me my eyelids and scalp were burning. He was rude and very illegally and ignorantly question my antidepressants. I was shocked. He was my stylist for 5 years. And instead of being kind they refused to refund me any money. Even after I sent a picture if my eye lids. Im planning on suing them. Im so heartbroken that my stylist who I liked so much was so horrible. It is illegal to throw a customers antidepressants in their face. When I had never ever complained before. My eye lids hurt so much. I also was in search of a salon that was diverse and open to people from all walks of life. Fringe met all of those requirements. I have now had 2 haircuts from Shannon Loveless. I am in my 30s and I have finally found the one! I truly wish my hair grew faster so I could see her more often. I will be moving from the area next year and if my lifestyle could afford it I would fly back to get my hair done by Shannon. I cannot recommend her enough. She genuinely welcomes you into the space and makes you feel comfortable as you explain what you would like. I have fine hair but there is a lot of it and Shannon is gentle and precise. She goes at your pace and checks in with you throughout the haircut to make sure the length she is cutting is still okay with you. The conversation is always fun and flows smoothly. Both times I have had the hour-long haircut service. I think it is priced fairly, and you are absolutely getting your money's worth. Booking online on Fringe's website is super easy. If you have questions you can call and are prompted to leave a voicemail and Fringe is really good about calling you back in a timely manner.
