He did - and he offered to come by on his way to another appointment and save me a lot of money if I could wait just three days. Which I gladly agreed to. He showed up approximately 30 seconds early for our appointment, and assured me that he would get the duct unclogged. Two hours later, he admitted that it was the worst clog he'd ever seen in all his years of business (since 1974), but he refused to admit defeat. (Honestly, I've never seen a guy cut the $#!T out of his hand so badly without swearing, even once.) Without going into detail, he did whatever it took to get the clog removed, and when he did, we had about 10 pounds of soggy lint on the ground.
