I don't know if CVS won't pay them overtime at their discretion, but when they get so backed up, they should be able to work overtime if they can. When orders are stated to be ready they are in fact NOT. I've arrived several times and was told I'd have to wait until later, wait until a manager is able to print orders or something else. The staff is very unprofessional, can be demeaning and ignorant. This is not how business is conducted and patrons of this store should not be expected to deal with this nonsense. Last night I placed an order, time for pickup was 8:51am the following morning . I arrived after 9:45am and was told my order was not ready and I would need to come back later. When asked what time the guy said someone would be in around 2pm! I let them know my order stated it was ready at 8:51am. He went back and forth with me saying it's not his fault whoever worked last night didn't run the machine and I will have to wait for a manager who knows how to run the machine. Another employee interjected when I began to explain this is an inconvenience to customers who place orders and travel in to pickup. She let me know he doesn't know how to run the machine. When I asked if my photo would be ready by 2 they laughed and said no the person comes in around that time. The way I was handled was down right not ok.As I began to walk away I heard someone burst out laughing, I turned and said this type of treatment of your customers is not funny and I will be making a complaint , someone said "fuck you" in a low tone. Sad to say this was not the first incident like this. With different employees. As it is graduation season I suggest no placing orders at this location if you need them by the given pickup time. They did this same mess when I was getting married and I had to cancel my order and reorder through another photo printing store! I hope corporate is able to get this location in order because there is no reason they act the way they do. I spoke with my doctor and he sent a different prescription. The Pharmacy that my doctor sent my prescription to did not have it. I called around and found "Accokeek Drug and Health Care Inc". I asked my doctor to send the prescription to them. I did not realized that they were closed Sunday. On Monday morning (May 6th) my father called to check the status on my prescription (NOTE: He was going to pick it up for me because I can't drive due to my surgery). The pharmacist said I would have to wait until May 9th for him to fill the prescription. I called my health insurance company because I thought that may have been the issue. The insurance company called the pharmacy and patch me in with the pharmacist. The pharmacist (I believe his name was Mark or Mike) said he was not comfortable filling my prescription because he noticed that I had a prescription filled on Friday. I advised him that I did and the medicine was not working; that's why the doctor prescribed something else. He then asked "where is that medicine at" and I told him I have it here with me at home. The pharmacist said in order to fill the new prescription. I will need to bring him my old prescription (the medicine) NOTE: I did not purchase this prescription from this pharmacy. I was puzzled. I felt as though he was trying to say I'm addicted or misusing my prescription. I have NEVER use drugs. I have never felt so insulted and disrespected my entire life. Luckily my doctor was able to send it to a reliable pharmacy. It is very dangerous when the pharmacist wants to play doctor. I will never send my prescriptions or refer this pharmacy to anyone! Walmart is the retailer we all love to hate, specifically because of the misguided methods we regularly hear about in the media about how the company manages it's workforce, and because of the consistently poor standard of customer service we tend to experience in many of these stores. When it comes to LONG queues, clueless stockers, disdainful customer service reps, and some of the weirdest and disturbed patrons, Walmart definitively takes the biscuit. On this occasion however, my visit to Walmart INSIDE was...average. It was normal. The store aisles and shelves were tidy and organized. Employees were milling about scanning product and reading through print outs and checking people in short queues. Not one was randomly hanging around doing eff-all squared. I wandered through the store purposely looking for coolant and after asking two employees for the automotive section, I found it myself. One of the lads I asked didn't seem to realize his store sold motor oil, coolant, air filters etc. The other young chap simply didn't appear to understand the word "automotive" and literally accompanied his blank expression with a head-scratch. Anyway, away I went to fetch my coolant, and then some bottled water. On the way to the tills I did note that the store was actually in great condition. No merchandise spilling on the floor or strewn halfway off the shelves as if organized by some drunken associate; displays were clean and tidy; the floors were swept and shiny; and the noise pollution was down to a minimal (no bleating children or obnoxious men/women shouting into their Bluetooth headsets). I did encounter several women of different makes and models bloody blocking aisles with their mindless habit of standing in the middle of the corridor with their cart angled so that you had to specifically ask them to please let you through or just go around altogether. But that is standard at almost any Walmart. It then struck me that I had ventured into this store on a random Wednesday and at late morning. I assumed that I had been lucky in visiting when I did. Happy days - I got a normal, average experience at a Walmart. OUTSIDE the store however was the usual pick-and-mix cast off the Jerry Springer show who bring their problems to a Walmart parking lot and insist on sharing with the rest of society. Several people sat in their cars blasting their music at obnoxiously high decibels because they want you to forcibly appreciate their great musical tastes - even a big rotund fellow on a motorcycle was jamming out; angry-looking people raging and swearing at each other over random semi-private issues; rough-looking members of the local community standing around in front of the store mean-mugging everyone approaching the front doors as if they're going to spontaneously combust and start a fight; employees in headphones roughly pushing around carts and casually contorting them around parked cars; dodgy-looking lads shifting around nervously and walking in-between cars and looking around furtively; and people parked in the middle of lanes just sat there possibly waiting for Christmas or for a parked car to suddenly vacate a space. Although I am usually internally doing the "happy dance" every time I drive away from the parallel universe that is your average Walmart, on this visit, I was overall pleased with the quality of the store INSIDE. If I do return here it will definitely be on a Wednesday and late morning. In the meantime, take care of yourselves, and each other.

There were a lot of insurance issues when my son first started requiring these very expensive medications. They stayed on the phone literally for over an hour getting everything situated for me. I often call in the refill at the last moment and they are somehow able to get them ready for me. Many times they have stayed open late for me to pick up prescriptions since I work so far away. I will continue to utilize them for all my pharmaceutical needs.

I would probably give them one or two stars because they tend to frustrate me with inefficiency with the insurance, texting me my prescription is ready and then saying it isn't when I arrive, or oddly deciding to stop texting and start calling me with an auto-alert about my mediation - I prefer texts and had my app account set up that way! But today, the lady who helped me was great! I went to pickup my prescription that was way overpriced (and when I called in advance the person who answered claimed they did indeed use the right insurance - but of course they didn't). When I arrive I tell her I have two prescriptions to pick up but she can only find one. I told her I just got a phone call the 2nd one was ready. She then looks into it and sees that they had applied one of them on an old account I had when I lived in another state many years ago. Why they would use that account when I they have my Maryland account information and have been using it for the past year I have no idea. She then checks and confirms the price I was given was indeed wrong and she fixed that - saving me almost $20. Lastly she said she would consolidate my accounts so this won't happen again. Now that's service! She should get employee of the year at this CVS, because many of their employees can learn a lot of customer service skills from her!!!

I give them a one star only because this is the lowest option they allow…read more I went to the Walgreens on high street in Waldorf Maryland Nov. 3, 2023 and brought a gift card and the cashier told me my card didn't go through when it did go through. He tried twice and both times stated the card didn't go through, so I showed him he received 2 authorizations on my card. I advised him to cancel those transactions and I'd pay in cash. He then asked me to go to the next register and I paid in cash. I asked him was he going to void the card transactions and he said he didn't know how and got the manager who told me to dispute this with my bank. I call the corporate office and they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. A week went past and no one from corporate contacted me so I sent them another email and no response. I spoke to my niece who went to this same Walgreens in July and she purchased a gift card at 8pm. When she went to use the card the next day her purchase was declined. When she called the number on the card to check the balance there was a charge on the card the same night she brought the gift at 10pm. I am more than convinced that there is internal fraud going on with Walgreens and they are not addressing these issues at this location and maybe other locations. Why are there so many issues with the gift cards and why is the staff not properly trained on how to handle an error they made. Why have a manager on duty who doesn't know how to void a transaction when the employee made the error. I'm just curious as to why corporate has not contacted me to even acknowledge my issue. I spoke to a family member who stated Walgreens wanted me to dispute this with my bank because the charge is under the card floor limit and the bank would take the loss and Walgreens took in revenue to make it look like they had a good year in profit when majority of their profit is due to employee error that they refused to address or refund. Not sure what government agency needs to get involved but we are researching this to get them involved. Stay away from Walgreens or you'll be fighting to get your money back.
