My favorite coffee place in PA. They are always busy and you can see why. They have a great selection of flavors, their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious, and considering most of the time there is only one person working, they're very quick. I was SO excited to try this place based on the reviews but after I placed my order I overheard the barista loudly say "Ew, I would never do that" after I asked for pumpkin cold foam on my blended chai (something I do all the time at other espresso places with no issue?) The manager then came to the window and said they were being "extra nice" and doing it for me but that they would not do that again in the future. Like straight up scolded me. Then the barista who took our order the first time came back and asked "is it good??" like waiting for me to hate it and it was delicious. It left me feeling really bad and shamed for something I get all the time and doesn't seem that out of the box of an order. Anyway go here at your own discretion, I'm sure most people have an overall positive experience and the food and drinks are good but my service was so bad and we were nothing but nice :( If you are the manager/staff and reading this, please know that we can hear what you're saying through the drive thru window. If you're going to be mean and rude at least do it quietly. read more

We were visiting the area and tried this stand. I couldn't decide between the Banana Cream Pie Latte and the Coconut Cream Latte. Since I always lean towards coconut anything I decided to try something new. The Banana Cream Pie Latte was amazing! The flavor was so good (the banana cold foam was the perfect touch)! We actually saw two different locations for this coffee stand, but we had it three times this week and it was so worth it. Their breakfast sandwiches are so inexpensive and delicious! We tried them both on English muffins and on bagels. The eggs were cooked perfectly both days! The ladies working the stands are super sweet and give great flavor recommendations as well. We tried coffees, redbull spritzers and tea! I asked for them to just surprise me with the spritzers and tea flavors and I had no complaints. They also recommended a peanut brittle latte for my husband this morning that was wonderful. I can definitely see why they get busy. But they are so worth the wait! read more

We just stopped by in town to go camping and hiking and we saw this coffee stand on the side of the road next to Walmart. There was a big line as it seemed to be very popular. It took 15+ mins to get to the front but we soon saw only 2 girls working the whole shop! Which was incredible! They were very fast and our drinks were delicious and very strong which is what I liked! I will be coming back when I'm back in town! read more

8.70 or so for a blended 20 oz w/ 3 shots? No thanks. I can go to just about any other coffee ship, or specifically Bella Rosa, and get a wonderful blended, (w/ ice cream base) for 6 and some change. Overpriced and zero seating. Idk who the hells pricing these things. But you guys are rediculous. Maybe you need new vendors, or something. Would have been a repeat customer if the price wasn't so extreme. Just saying. read more

Higher Grounds Espresso is a drive-through coffee place located in Port Angeles, right across the street from the Walmart Supercenter store. There's only one drive-through window with one worker, so expect to wait. Prices are pretty cheap and they have a good variety of coffees and food on their menu. And the lady working there was really friendly. read more

My favorite place for blended coffee in Port Angeles. I used to prefer bella rosa for thei blended drinks but they don't have white coffee so I mostly come here now. The higher grounds on the other side of town was just a couple blocks from my house growing up and I went there all the time for coffee and ice cream and the quality at both locations has never disappointed in the 15 years ive been going there. One of the best things about both places is that they have both a drive through window and a place to walk up which is a really nice option. My favorite drink for years was a white chocolate mocha with toffee flavor but lately it has been a dirty chai made with white coffee (the white coffee has more caffeine and a mellow nutty flavor), so good! Plus the prices here are very affordable compared to some other places in town even after the up-charge for the white coffee my drink is always under $5. Their breakfast sandwiches are cheaper and tastier than any fast food place too! read more

I have been a long time customer they were part of my daily routine before work it takes a lot for me to write a complaint but if you personally insult me its on being called a liar over a punch on my card no wait argued with than a statement like "nice try buddy" when I counted them before handing to her than counted how many times she punched it is over the top so if you go there although they have good coffee if you complain expect to be insulted I tip well and every time I tipped $10 dollars on Christmas for obvious reasons and I'm going to get treated like a con artist over a punch speaks volumes of the place someone needs to get trained on customer service unbelievable. read more
