    Turkey sandwich

Found ourselves on the Port Angeles waterfront today and stopped to grab lunch at Silver Lining Cafe. It's set right on the water and there are tables for outdoor eating, but even in the bright sunshine the wind made it too chilly to eat outdoors. We ordered 1/2 a turkey sandwich and 1/2 a salad. The salad they had was turkey cranberry with balsamic and cranberry dressings. The salad was nice. I esp usually liked the 2 dressings. The sandwich was on a dry ciabatta roll. The turkey, lettuce and tomato were fine but the dry roll spoiled the sandwich. If I go again I will try something else. The service is casual, order-at-the-counter. All in all it was fine for a quick lunch but skip the cold sandwiches.

My experience wasn't necessarily 4 stars but I don't want to give 3 simply because I didn't give the coffee a chance this visit and don't want to rate a coffee shop low if I didn't try the coffee. The menu is a bit much, there is a lot of options to the point where it's overwhelming. I got the lavender lemonade and it's just lemonade from a bottle with lavender syrup, which I don't know what I was expecting tbh. The drinks were too sweet but the view of the place makes up for it. I give it 4 stars because there isn't anything too bad and I didn't try the coffee.

Gluten-free coconut macaron. So fluffy it reminded me of a marshmallow.

Quick 5 min walk from the ferry line. Super friendly service. They have many very tasty pastry choices with a handful of gluten-free options. I got the Gluten-free coconut macaron. So fluffy it reminded me of a marshmallow. Yum!! They also have breakfast options with ham or bacon and cheese. They also have many great drink choices and alternative milks. And they had really great smoothies as well. The best part was excellent customer service!

I went to Silver Lining Cafe for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised that I could get a breakfast sandwich at that time. I picked my fillings of egg, sausage, provolone, extra onion, and pesto sauce. Extra veggies cost a little more. The sandwich was uncommonly delicious. I also got a cinnamon roll which was good, but I look forward to trying other choices. It would be beneficial if they had a printed menu that you could look at and not stand in the way of the counter. It would be easier to see as well. The view is nice and the breeze off the water keeps the place comfortably cool when the doors are propped open.

Upbeat. Friendly. Busy. Silver Lining Cafe is a spectacular cafe to drop by while you're waiting to board the ferry. They are located at the very back of the wharf. From coffee to smoothies to savory and sweet baked goods, their menu variety did not dissappont. Their drink specials menu was my favorite in particular. When I visited, it included lavendar flavor based hot drinks, which very much suited the local flavors since it's its lavendar season here. The staff were also very friendly and recommended their most popular order, which was their French vanilla lavendar latte with oat milk. I absolutely loved it. Wasn't too sweet. Wasn't too bitter. The latte was the perfect temperature and went down smooth and silky. I also got to try their bacon cheese jalapeño strudel. Got it warmed, to-go, and they were so kind to accommodate my request to cut it in half. This strudel was a big hit for me. If you need a space to hang out, the cafe offers plenty of seating options to choose from. Overall, you can expect to enjoy an exceptional cup of hot coffee, with a delicious baked good while basking in their natural lighting to enjoy the beautiful views of the port.

New water front coffee shop with fresh homemade pastries! Great addition to the wharf and nextdoor to the great Art shop to puruse as well. Located right on the water, so you can Sip coffee and watch boats, birds and wildlife go by your table. The Scones and coffee cakes are lovely and reasonable priced. I esp. love the house plants and bookshelf that make this cafe cozy, interesting, complete with friendly staff. They even have a bike rack outside in back, so I can keep my eye on it, so makes a great expresso bike ride stop. We'll be back!

It is a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy great coffee, beautiful decor, and breathtaking views. Located in a scenic area, this cafe boasts a cozy and inviting interior that perfectly complements the stunning scenery outside. The coffee at Silver Lining Cafe is decent, with a wide range of options to suit any taste. The decor is also worth noting. The cafe is beautifully decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The attention to detail in the design is impressive, and it's clear that the owners take pride in creating an inviting space for their customers. But perhaps the biggest draw of the place is the view. The cafe overlooks a stunning vista, with mountains, forests, or a beautiful body of water providing a gorgeous backdrop for your coffee break. Whether you're there to work or relax, the view alone is worth the visit. Overall, if you're looking for a great cafe in a picturesque location, it is definitely worth checking out. With excellent coffee, beautiful decor, and breathtaking views, this cafe has everything you need for an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Amazing coffee. Turnovers are so good, especially the savory ones. Personal fave was the peanut butter scone/cookie.

The yogurt itself is a little runny and the topping station could use an update, but it's good for what it is in a smaller town like this. Still tasted good, would probably try a different spot next time but friendly service!

Nevertheless, I thought I'd try out a local froyo spot while vacationing in the Olympic National Park area. I came by after dinner, and they had four flavors: vanilla, chocolate, Oreo, and Dole Whip. I appreciate their creative efforts with flavors such as the Dole Whip and Oreo, but the execution was poor. I got a bit of vanilla, Oreo, and Dole Whip. They were all so icy and not creamy at all. It tasted very artificial. For some reason, I couldn't taste any frozen yogurt. Typically, with froyo, you can taste a mild, slight tartness from the yogurt, but there wasn't any. Either they stopped serving froyo, or the flavors were just too subtle. Regardless, my best analogy would be a self-serve ice cream machine from Golden Corral. The only thing that I enjoyed about this place was that it was not weight-based; you can select as many flavors and as much as you want to fit in your cup. Additionally, I enjoyed their toppings bar, where they had a whole host of options to put into your bowl, ranging from cereal to crushed chocolate bars, strawberries, and different syrups as well.

It had that reheated, rather than freshly made, feel. And the service was a bit unenthusiastic as well. On my second visit, there was live music playing in the nearby atrium, so I sat out there with my coffee, my laptop, and some gentle tunes to enjoy.
