Long story short... 1. Not qualified to do the job!! We even…read morehad the owner of VP Residential over at our current home to show him our textured walls and how we wanted the texture/paint to look on the walls at the home we hired him to do. He assured us several times that he and his crew could do the work...WRONG!! They did a lousy texture and paint job, even after 3 tries and we did give him 3, that's THREE CHANCES to get it right. They never ever got it right. 2. His workers were also caught drinking in the home/on the job that we hired him to do! 3. The owner really is a nice guy but very unreliable with his scheduling and excuses; ie. he had to pick up his kids, the weather was bad, he had to go out of town to pick up materials for another job, he was sick... The house was originally suppose to be ready for move in on Feb 7th. Needless to say a month (March) later the house wasn't done. 4. After several other issues, we FINALLY got fed up and fired him! The house looked like a DUMP. They did come to clean up their mess but wow what a mess and I have pics of it all! I'm not saying he isn't the right painter for everyone but be very observant and checkout those references and reviews! I think he was in over his head with the job we wanted done and just saw the $$$ that he was hoping to make. Even after an agreed on amount to be refunded to us from VP Residential, because we were ready to take him to court for our losses, I still think we paid too much! I have since then had a couple of other painters come by for quotes and both of them were SHOCKED at the shotty job done by Nicholas Valley at VP Residential LLC. PS: our house has finally been beautifully textured and painted by another company who I would highly recommend! The end to my long story short!
