Run from this service, it has some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced.

Stone tile can be fussy so I definitely recommend a pro with lots of experience. I will update photos when the baseboards and paint are complete. This is a remodel from a flood. We changed from engineered wood and Saltillo tile to limestone so the demo was huge. The footprint was not changed but we did have to replace flooring, carpet, plumbing, drywall, paint, wood trims and doors. Insurance and our mortgage company have caused a lot of delays so the time for the total remodel has been since December. The tile itself was about a 3 week process from time of ordering so they work really fast.

He had quoted and contracted for a price of $2200 do redo a rock sidewalk and small patio with $500 upfront for materials. After the first day he asked for more money to be paid since he was having to Uber to the job site. He then tried to upcharge for little things like leveling that did not need to be done. He ended up threatening me if I did not pay him early even when the job was not nearly completed. He ended up doing a very poor job with lots of drama. I paid him the original contractEd price just to get rid of him.

I could say the finished work looks better than we ever imagined. I could report this and other nice things I would likely be saying if any of a number of great companies had done the work. But what I would like to report is that these folks did such a wonderful job of befriending us, and making us feel like they would not have it any other way than us being totally satisfied, that we immediately called them back to do the foundation for a 12 x 12 workshop in our back yard. And once again, I could easily tell you all sorts of nice things about the slab they poured for us, or the care they took not to disturb our lawn and plants, but once again it is the friendship they built with us that all but forces me to talk about that instead. We are friends with these people now. Hanniel and his little boy are like family now. And they have helped us in ways we never imagined. Hanny recommended a roofer to us who saved us at least $3600 off of what we were about to pay someone else, and they are doing better work than we asked for. And Hanny recommended an electrician who, when I asked him for an estimate told me exactly what he was going to do, gave me a list of materials and told me exactly how much the materials were costing him, gave me the option to buy the stuff myself if I could get a better deal, and then asked me, "What do you feel comfortable paying us for labor?" I threw out a low ball figure, and he told me exactly what he would do for me for that price and then gave me a couple of options that were, without a doubt, better options for me and my wallet. Where have these people been all of my life? and I have Hanniel to thank for this. I would not even DREAM of calling anyone else but Stallion Concrete for my next concrete project, and I can tell you in all honesty, I probably will call Hanny first if I were looking for a used car or a cruise ship vacation. While I have never broached these subjects with him, I am SURE he knows the right people where I will get a Christian treatment from someone who actually cares about me and my happiness with the finished work. No, they are not paying me for telling you these things, and no, they are not giving me some sort of free work or other enticements. They earned this from me by doing a great job for a fair price, and for earning my trust in the process. and hey, I'm not doing this as a favor to them, I am taking the time to write this review FOR YOU. I think you will thank me later for this.

I'll continue to update this review as we move through the process. -------------------------------------------- We hired Nelson Landscaping to improve our poolside area in Edmond, aiming for something cohesive and functional. While the crews were great, the rest of the experience left us frustrated--and stuck with a space that doesn't work. We were sold on flagstone set in decomposed granite (DCG), but in reality it's totally impractical for a pool patio. The DCG is rough on bare feet and constantly washes into the pool, staining our new concrete. Worst of all, the amount of flagstone was drastically underquoted. When I pointed this out, they came back with filler pieces, which helped visually--but it's still not functional. The area is uncomfortable and not practical for furniture or barefoot traffic, which was the entire point of the project. Communication was poor. We were rarely informed when crews would show up, and a comment from the salesman ("all you women want to see what it's going to look like") when I asked for visuals was unprofessional and frustrating. A concrete crack formed within a month, which is still unaddressed a year later as no one returned my multiple calls. I even reached out to the owner whose email address is listed on the website and still only heard back from our salesman. The crews did great work--but the planning, oversight, and professionalism were severely lacking. If you're hiring Nelson Landscaping for pool area landscaping, flagstone patios, or outdoor design in Edmond, ask a lot of questions and don't rely on them to act like the experts. We learned the hard way.

I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. After the initial claim was filed and insurance paid, all they ever did was keep coming out to take more and more pictures of the inside of her house, which was not part of the original claim, it was a building code for the decking that was the issue and several times they came out to take more pictures in the attic of the decking as well. What they did with the initial pictures is beyond me. I finally called mom's insurance company to find out what the hold up was only to find out no other paper work or contact had been initiated by Validated. That is when we told them we had enough, that was a month ago and Validated is now calling to ask how the job is going? They do not communicate within the company, with insurance companies nor with their clients.
