So, I left, and a couple weeks later, I'm thinking let me give it another shot, since my first couple visits were 5 stars. This time, the same person was running the shop, both the check-in and the register...her name was Gino, according to my receipt. I purchased my product, and she said, ok that will be $10. Great, I handed her a $20, and she said, ok so that will be $8 for you, oh my, I am...do you mind change? (There were only 2 one dollar bills) in her till. meanwhile, the cash register was overflowing with nickels, dimes and quarters. I was like 'wait, $8? you said $10, so what do you mean?' because I expected $10 change. She said 'we dont deal with change here', but I can give the change if you want it. So she took the $9.83 I was due, rounded it down to $8, saw there was only $7 in bills in the register, and tried to ask me if I wanted a dollar in change or just the $7 in bills. again, repeating that they don't deal with change at this business. I told her I change was fine to give me my $9.83 I was due in change. She did provide this, though it seems a chore for her to count out the 11 quarters. Listen, if you arent going to deal with change, you should probably round up anything that is .50 or above and round down anything that is .49 and below. Definitely dont continue to round all change down. Who out there is owed $9.99 in change and asked to take $9 because they dont deal with change?!? . And definitely don't have a convenient tray with exactly 2 one dollar bills, so you can always ask your customers if they will settle for another dollar less when the change due is $3, $4, $8 $9. Trust, they will be happy to take 4 quarters any day instead of a missing dollar. Also, why is the cash register full of change if you dont deal with it? And of course, if I had even 1 penny less than the asking price, I wouldnt be able to make my purchase. So, yes, Miss, I do want ALL my change, all 83 cents of that shiny shit, ok? Times are hard and I gotta stretch even 15 cents out so please read the room and maybe get a calculator or maybe a different job where it doesnt reflect on the business looking sketch when you are trying to avoid paying out everyone's change that they are due. thank you
