Our Mother has been a resident at Highgate Wenatchee for about two years. From move in date thru all the COVID challenges, Highgate has been above and beyond top notch.
Their care providers are dedicated, attentive, patient, and so very caring. Mom tells us regularly how she loves her up to date cozy one bedroom apartment.
Communication with family is a priority, be it with the facility, or Moms care. The administrators are easily accessible.
The biggest test has come with COVID with lockdown, no visitors, and meals delivered to rooms. Unlike many long term care facilities, Highgate has managed to keep COVID out and our cherished vulnerable family members safe.
In the Summer, a large canopy tent was placed outside where residents could visit with family with masks and distancing. This Winter, there have been virtual and window visits. Mom loves to see our faces!
Highgate is one of the first long term care communities to have an in house vaccine clinic administered by employee RNs.
