In the last few months with Dr. Joe, my mobility has improved more than it ever did in four years with my previous chiropractor. Not only has he adjusted my alignment, but he also has me doing strengthening exercises in physical therapy to prevent a return to my previous pain levels. I haven't felt this good in years. For people that might be deterred by that review, I have to say that I think that person probably was expecting a day spa type of experience, which is a very different experience than a theraputic type of massage that you would get at a chiropractor's office.

What a totally different experience, and I loved every minute of it. This is not your typical…read moremassage where the masseuse is asking you if there is a specific area they should be focusing on. It is more of a pumping and gentle pushing motion. This technique has a purpose which is to get your lymph nodes to drain. You are almost lulled into a slumber lying on the heated table. There is relaxing music playing, there are breath exercises to do and the room itself has a special ambient feel. After my hour was up, I was totally in a relaxed state and felt a sense of calm. It would have been nice to just lie there and take a nap. Of course, duty calls. My experience almost thirty minutes later included itching all over my body. I also noticed that my stomach went down; no longer bloated. I did a bit of research and found that a good lymphatic drainage massage causes one to itch as a way of increased blood flow and detoxification. Well, alright. Let's give the body what it needs.

So, a coworker referred Dr. Adam to me, and he recommended the solution on my first visit, acupuncture and few corrections. It works so well, I don't even need to carry ibuprofen with me anymore! He's also a nutritionist and specializes in an arsenal of techniques to get you feeling better no matter what your problem may be. Office hours are great, he's really flexible (same day visits are possible), and customer service is top notch.
