I have always managed to get a space without waiting but they are usually located at the far end of the car park. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. All the doctors and nurses I have encountered are also friendly. The waiting area is fine for its purpose. There are magazines available to read although these can tend to be out of date. There are toys for children to play with. There are some pictures on the wall but I always find myself thinking that these could be more cheerful as a couple of them are rather depressing! There is a fish tank with a couple of fish which is always a great attraction with any children in the sugery.

The smell when you come in is so phantastic, this is not your average tourist souvenir shop, you come in and feel welcome, sort of at home, it's hard to describe. There is so much to discover, I easily spend an hour browsing, even though it's a small shop. Got to chat a bit with the lovely vendor, who is a trained herbalist, and she really knows her stuff, she gave me very good advice for my skin condition and I bought quite some stuff off her, could have bought the whole shop. We went back another time to stock up, sadly we haven't been able to go back to the highlands for a couple of years, I just wish we had a shop like this in Hamburg! They even managed to get a scared two year old to open his mouth so the dentist could have a look. He also loved the sticker that they gave him. The location is excellent since the car park is just outside and there are shops across the way. Don't expect them to remind you that it's time for a new appointment - that's up to you nowadays. Be careful if you miss the appointment by too many months they will remove you from the list and you are back to square one trying to find an NHS dentist in Inverness.

They aren't that quick sending out test results either. Appointments are usually running over time and you quite often have a bit of a wait.
