I heard about a taster session that Alan Massey was holding on the Alexander Technique http://www.therapies-inverness.co.uk/complementary-therapies/alexander-technique/ and being very aware that my posture is generally rubbish, decided to give it a try. Alan was incredibly welcoming, informative and fun. I've never thought so hard about how I sit down! The evening was great fun, and really had an impact in how I think about using my body even in the mundane things of sitting at the computer, walking down the street or sitting on a chair. The whole thing was done in a very relaxed fashion, making it accessible and enjoyable and I even got given a wee CD to take home and use whilst relaxing and re-programming my postural habits. Wonderful service, highly recommended!

They aren't that quick sending out test results either. Appointments are usually running over time and you quite often have a bit of a wait. I think this is pretty standard with most GP surgeries these days though

She is so down to earth and easy to talk to, you never feel uncomfortable in her company. She is genuine and I'd recommend her to anyone needing medical care. She is available in both the Invergordon medical centre, as well as the Robinson health centre, at the top end of Alness High Street. A very popular Doctor, and has recently returned from being abroad helping patients over there.. Such a courages and selfless woman!

They even managed to get a scared two year old to open his mouth so the dentist could have a look. He also loved the sticker that they gave him. The location is excellent since the car park is just outside and there are shops across the way. Don't expect them to remind you that it's time for a new appointment - that's up to you nowadays. Be careful if you miss the appointment by too many months they will remove you from the list and you are back to square one trying to find an NHS dentist in Inverness.

The smell when you come in is so phantastic, this is not your average tourist souvenir shop, you come in and feel welcome, sort of at home, it's hard to describe. There is so much to discover, I easily spend an hour browsing, even though it's a small shop. Got to chat a bit with the lovely vendor, who is a trained herbalist, and she really knows her stuff, she gave me very good advice for my skin condition and I bought quite some stuff off her, could have bought the whole shop. We went back another time to stock up, sadly we haven't been able to go back to the highlands for a couple of years, I just wish we had a shop like this in Hamburg!
