I saw this place and felt, this was it. I ran inside to ask if they took donations and they said yes and to drive along the side of the building. I pulled up my SUV and asked if I could be alone while I did this and the sweet lady hugged me and said yes. I didn't hesitate and felt at ease with this thrift shop and prayed that all her beautiful clothes and shoes would bless the right people and that they too would look lovely in them. I will never go back to this thrift anytime soon for it was for a purpose. However, GO! They had some great things and prices at affordable prices. Godspeed!

Their mission is to provide food, clothing, rent, utilities, medication, gas, and tuition to their school to anyone in need in the Melbourne area. They operate a large food pantry next to the thrift store. I stopped by to check out this thrift store during a recent trip to Melbourne. Parking is tough and I had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It was well worth the wait because the store is quite large and neatly organized. Ascension Catholic Thrift sells gently used furniture, collectibles, clothes, bikes, shoes, accessories, books, movies, records, home goods, games, toys, art, small appliances, and more. Christmas was half off and they had ornaments for only $1. They had a number of televisions plugged in and operating which I don't usually see at thrift stores. Prices were more than fair, selection was vast, and the volunteers were friendly and helpful. In addition to the support they provide the community they are also keeping items out of the landfill and offering discounted items to people who might not be able to otherwise afford them. This worthy organization is a great place to donate, shop, and volunteer your time to.

She followed us around the store, stared at me, and smiled while repeatedly implying that I needed to go somewhere else. Breastfeeding my child is completely normal and legal, and I should not have been made to feel unwelcome or ashamed for feeding my baby. I hope management addresses how customers--especially breastfeeding mothers--are treated in the future.

This place used to be Great to go to, I hardly ever walked out empty handed... But today (after being closed for a bit) I walked in and things were moved around a bit, but when I got to the "back" (at least that's where the store used to end), it kept going! I got through the next section, only to find more!! I am So impressed by this place, that I went back to the front door and took a 10-minute video... I tried to upload that, but it was too long, I took the video x16 and made a 30-second video... But I also 2x it and made 8 smaller videos... We'll see if they upload... Nana's House helps foster parents provide a safe and loving home for neglected, abused, needy, and abandoned children by providing housing, utilities, transportation, clothing, school supplies, toys, household items, and anything else the foster families and children need. Nana's House will also pay for any extra curricular activities the child is interested in. The children live in a home with two foster parents and up to five other children. I loved visiting this neatly organized and large thrift store. As soon as i walked in a tree full of charming Christmas ornaments for only $1 caught my eye. If you love Christmas they have a whole Christmas corner set up. Christmas was even 50 percent off during my visit. Nana's House also sells very nice furniture, art, home goods, games, puzzles, toys, clothes, linens, shoes, books, and more. Prices on everything were very fair but check the board for even more sales. I really enjoyed my visit to this store and learning more about this valuable organization. They operate one main no kill animal shelter for adoptions and four Molly Mutt Thrift Shops that provide financial support to the organization. They also run a Spay and Neuter Clinic, a low cost clinic to provide affordable health care options, and the Heavenly Paws Chapel to provide compassionate care to those who have lost a pet. During a recent visit to Palm Bay, I was able to visit Molly Mutt IV. They also have locations in Melbourne, Rockledge, and Merritt Island. The store was clean and well organized. During my visit they were having a sale on handbags. Other items they sell include clothes, home goods, collectibles, holiday decorations, furniture, books, records, silver, toys, jewelry, pet supplies, and more. There are two full rooms to explore. I love any charity that helps animals. I found the prices to be fair and the proceeds go to a wonderful charity. Please consider donating to and shopping at Molly Mutt.

My husband and I recently brought quilts and drapes to donate. They were packed in plastic…read morecontainers that we wanted to keep, so we drove around to the back as instructed. Unfortunately, the donation area required carrying everything up a flight of steps, which is very difficult for us. I knocked on the door to ask for assistance. The woman who answered seemed irritated that I had interrupted her, was rude, and appeared very reluctant to help. She eventually brought out cardboard boxes for us to transfer our donations into and, again reluctantly, helped us. Since the quilts and drapes could easily be damaged by rain, I suggested they might want to move the boxes inside. She simply shut the door. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and unappreciated. Donations are given freely by people who are trying to help, and a little kindness goes a long way. Jordan along with Habitat founders Millard and Linda Fuller developed the concept of partnership housing. Those in need of shelter would work side by side with volunteers to build affordable homes at no profit. House payments would be combined with no interest loans provided by supporters which would then be used to build more homes. In 1973, the Fullers took their house building concept to Zaire where they worked for three years. They then returned to the United States and founded Habitat for Humanity International in 1976. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn became involved and raised awareness. Habitat is now in all 50 states in the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. They have helped 29 million people be able to afford safe shelter. In 1991 Habitat for Humanity launched the concept of the ReStore in Winnipeg, Canada. In 1992 the first Habitat for Humanity restore opened in the U.S. in Austin Texas. The ReStores accept donations from the community and home improvement stores and then resells the items to the public at a discounted price. The profit from the ReStore supports the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. This store in Palm Bay is part of the Space Coast Habitat for Humanity. They have helped 575 families in 37 years and they are designated as a Veteran Build affiliate serving the veterans in the community. They support programs for home ownership and home preservation through zero-interest mortgages, volunteer labor, and community support. I love supporting Habitat for Humanity and stop in the thrift stores whenever I can. This store was large and clean with a mixture of new and gently used items. They had furniture, home goods, home improvement items, and more. My favorite find was a vintage Capodimonte porcelain mirror vanity with perfume bottle. If you have any home improvement projects on the horizon, I encourage you to check them out.

My mom said that she was buying that day, so we were in for a double treat! My mother, and my brother, and myself had a wonderful time looking through the different beautiful pieces of clothing, and we found some really great pieces to take home that day. After we searched throughout the store, and found some great items to purchase, we got in line to checkout. While I was in the checkout line, I asked the team member behind the counter which days do they usually have this sale. He said that he doesn't like to advertise the sale days in advance, because when he does this, everybody waits until the sale day to come in to the store. I just want everyone to know that if they like this thrift store, they should visit this thrift store as frequently as they can. Proceeds from sales at Blessed Sacrament Thrift Shop support a very good cause, and they never know when they will happen upon a day when they are selling all clothes for $1.

We stopped operating…read morethe business about two years ago, so we still have quite a few items on consignment at several stores in the Orlando and Cocoa Beach areas. Our experience with the other consignment stores has been great. I regularly receive checks and updated lists of items that have sold, and when a consignment agreement is about to expire, they usually contact me to ask whether I want to renew it. Unfortunately, my experience with Nighten Day Furniture has been completely different. When I first visit the store，she was very friendly and enthusiastic. The store also has big space，so I decided to consign more than 100 brand-new items with her, including nightstands, wall art, home décor, and lighting. From the beginning, I gave her permission to price the items very low if necessary, because I wanted them sold quickly. However, this is the only consignment store where I have never received a payment. When I contacted her again, she even didn't know who I was and didn't even have my phone number saved. I have repeatedly asked for a list of the items that have been sold. I never received a clear answer. Please be very careful when doing business with this store and read the consignment agreement carefully, especially the 95-day clause. Make sure you understand exactly what happens to your merchandise when the consignment period expires.
