The Fantastic Mr. It's Complicated brought me to Show Low for the weekend - with the primary excuse being getting his most recent tattoo completed. Rob at Offworld has done all his work for the past 20 or so years - and what a fantastic excuse to get out of town! I didn't personally get inked here, but have spent enough time in enough shops to feel I have a good enough grasp to share my opinions. Clean, Clean, CLEAN! This stuck out to me more than anything else. This was far and away the cleanest and most sanitary studio I've ever set foot in. Everyone is friendly! I've grown accustomed to being all but ignored when I'm just in a shop with a friend - not spending money myself. Maybe it's because it's a small town, maybe everyone was just having a good day - but all the people I met in here - customers and staff, were sincerely friendly. QUALITY! I had time to check out portfolios of the artists, as well as see the work being done while I was there. Rob's lines are phenomenal, and his shadow and detail work is just breathtaking! Will not find a better place, Rob is a bit of a tattoo genius, I've taken him simple ideas with a few rough pictures and he has done amazing work he is usually booked for months at a time which should speak to how good he is. All the guys there have contributed to the paintings on the wall which are something else. The shop is real clean he has always opened up a new needle in front of me places plastic over his cords and sprays down the chair once we are done. Highlander & Offworld Tattoos - Half way through one of the pieces I had done here. The detail when you get close on the animals still blows me away. - Tattoo Near Me - Show Low, Arizona

OK, I've been sitting on this review for a couple of months. I had heard several good things about Rob at this shop. Offworld was at a biker rally in Overgaard, where I live. My daughter and I went to their booth where Rob was sitting, doing a drawing. I told him we'd like to talk to him about us getting a "mother/daughter" tattoo. Without really looking up from his drawing, he sent us down to another booth, where we talked to a guy named Jason. I emailed him some graphics that we were interested in and he told us to visit the shop tomorrow. And, this part is my fault, I assumed if he worked for Rob, he must be just as good. We arrived and he didn't even have a design drawn up. He was just going to freehand most of it. In less than 2 hours, he had tattooed my daughter and I with something that looked like a school kid designed it. I admit, I should have made him do what I wanted. So shame on me, I now am going to a different shop to get it fixed. I can't help be think Rob was a total tattoo snob, brushing us off like that. read more
