Always take what you read knowing it's someone's opinion. The whole process was easy and good. When I come back to Sedona with my husband I will bring him here for a tattoo. I wanted a certain orbital but he said not only is my ear not as pronounced there, it's a very complex healing process. Luckily I had already researched Old West & liked another orbital picture they posted to Yelp so that one was my second choice & Torin was all over it! He measured & placed it PERFECTLY. Plus I got a flat piercing & he placed that perfectly as well in comparison to my other piercings. His commitment to health & safety is unmatched & both piercing are healing so well with the saline solution I bought from Old West. I came back exactly a month to get the shorter post needed for my flat and it was just such a pleasure to show Torin how great they both look! However, on a whim today I decided to give immortal art a call as I had noticed their shop while grabbing lunch. The kind lady over the phone stated that they don't do walk-ins, however, they can do same-day appointments. Thankfully, she told me that they had an opening in their schedule within the next 10 minutes. I immediately ran over and started the paperwork before getting my rook piercing lined up with Morgan. Morgan explained the process very quickly while sterilizing my ear, which I appreciated as I've had shops sit me through a whole long course before. I also appreciated that he took his time explaining the proper placement and anatomy of my ear. Overall the piercing itself was pretty quick and mostly painless as Morgan was super fast while putting the jewelry in. The piercing itself cost around $80 which I was extremely happy with!! I also visited with the two employees upfront and learned that they had been in business for about 30 years and all the lovely decor was put up by the owner. I don't know if you can see it too well in my photos, but there is a super cool skateboard deck wall in front of the parlors, as well as some awesome tattoo stencils all over. Overall, the whole process didn't take me more than 10 minutes and I absolutely love the vibe of the shop and I'll be back for more in the future.
