Treeborn Apartments is a very homey atmosphere. Complete with a wooden backdrop outdoors and a…read morefairly silent regime of neighbors. Maintenance is always on top of new work orders, and always does a fantastic job on whatever the problem is. Pros -Quiet -Beautiful Property -Perfect for new couples looking to get a start in their lives -Maintenance are TOP DOGS -Rent is on the cheaper side -The office staff do everything they can to accommodate their guests -Close to many good restaurants, Kroger, and JUBIES ICE CREAM (Probably the best ice cream I've personally ever had) Cons -The Laundry facility on-site isn't the best, spent nearly 8 $ (at 2$ per load) to dry one load of non heavy laundry - The pet fee's are about 1/4th the price of your rent, and have a monthly allowance -Food Delivery is a nightmare in the back lots, some drivers will sooner make a U-Turn than properly locate your apartment and deliver your food. (We've had 3 orders go missing in the span of 2 months) Verdict: While Treeborn Apartments falls short in a few minor area's, the overall experience is fantastic, my Fiancé and I love it here and plan on staying until we are properly hitched and find ourselves our own permanent residence, with around the 750$ range of rent, we are able to build a successful, stable income that is allowing us to create the foundation for a perfect life together Thank you Treeborne for giving us this opportunity to love and grow without hassle

I lived here from October 2011 to April 2014 in a 2-story townhouse (non-Reserves). The apartment…read morewas clean and well-kept when we moved in and included fairly new appliances. The small things that were not up to par when we first moved in were immediately fixed after we submitted the move-in checklist. Over the course of the three years that I lived here, I had almost no major problems with the apartment or with the leasing office. If there was a maintenance issue, it was taken care of within a couple days of reporting it. The only reacquiring issue was with the dryer and that was fixed after several maintenance attempts. The apartment came with pool and gym access. The gym isn't very big and only has several workout machines, 3 cardio machines and 1 workout bench. The pool was nice though (no spa, only a pool) - it's open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend usually and is generally not too crowded. I definitely used the pool as much as possible in the summertime! The complex itself is well-cared for and generally quiet. They are very strict about what you can keep on your patio though so just be forewarned about that. Overall, it's an attractive complex with clean apartments for a very reasonable price (we were paying $669 for a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath unit with in-unit laundry included!!!). I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable apartment that isn't junky or dingy.

I had an extremely disappointing experience while touring Channingway apartments…read more The leasing agent who showed us the property was extremely unprofessional, dismissive and surprisingly rude throughout the entire tour. She seemed unprepared, could not answer basic questions and property and the leasing process, and seemed irritated when she could not answer our basic questions. The most concerning moment occurred when we asked a simple question about the holding fee. Instead of providing an explanation, she became defensive and made comments that felt insulting and inappropriate. At one point, she essentially implied that we were "crazy" for asking a reasonable question. Throughout the tour, she rolled her eyes multiple times and ended the interaction by walking away and saying, "You can decide whether this area works for you or not." It felt clear that she had no interest in helping prospective residents or representing the property professionally. Whether this behavior reflects the management team as a whole or not, it created a terrible first impression of the community. A leasing tour is often a prospective resident's first interaction with an apartment complex, and unfortunately this experience left us with no confidence in moving forward. I would strongly encourage management to provide additional customer service training and ensure that prospective residents are treated with basic professionalism and respect.

I have also fallen 3 times since moving in due to nature of course. The worst thing was this past weekend I slipped on ice in the back parking lot and hurt my tailbone and elbow because of the icy conditions. I went to the office and told them about it and asked if I could treat the ice myself and she was kind of rude about it. Instead of saying I will send someone out to treat the conditions, she said sure you can put it out. For the most part, I wish that the parking was better. some of the cars have not even moved since the beginning of December.
