Refused to fill a Rx 3 times with no communication. Insisted that I come in and spend 300$ for a physical my animals don't need. They need their meds and with holding them has caused them to suffer. These people should not have a license - straight up willfully choosing harm over care. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place and I will be posting to every social media account about I have to warn others about this place. I'm also looking into reporting to local oversight officials and the BBB. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a place I trusted to be in an ally in my animals health and safety. read more

I'm disappointed to be ending my relationship with Highlands Pet Hospital with a bad review, but they really were the worst at the end and this feels needed. And after paying $50!! for my vet records they basically held hostage and refused to e mail my new vet after I called MANY times, sent e mails literally begging for them and spoke with the front desk. Everyone has always been very kind and I think that made me not notice red flags earlier. Not getting pet report cards in a timely manner, getting sent the wrong ones for the wrong dog. Even when I had to bring in the same pee three times, I just chalked it up to everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Recently it was lab results for a dog that took so long to get I was calling to check them and the front desk told me for 3 days a vet still had not reviewed them so I couldn't get results yet. So results were in for what turned out to be cancer they were just too busy. And when I called ahead for pain meds for another dog and after FIVE days of waiting and no response to an e mail, turns out they were ready the same day I called. Just no one bothered to let me know. That was my last straw and I told the front desk to let Dr Condon know I will be leaving. I found a new vet that same day. I would have just loved a clean break and to start at the new vet but HPH first needed vet approval to send records. Then they sent a few records. Then some more and no lab work. They they e mailed a blank page? All during this I'm calling and e mailing them letting them know they're keeping my dogs from getting the best care possible. They scared me telling me one of my dogs might have kidney disease but they won't let the new vet see her lab work? It was so odd. So after a week I had to physically go in today and ask for printed records for my 4 dogs and cat. I understand it was a lot of paper, I understand charging someone $50 for the material. I do not understand why it was $50 when I asked every day for a whole week for my records to just be e mailed? My new vet has been appalled and every staff member has told me they've never seen anything like this or had such a hard time getting health records. I wish HPH well in the future but I would not recommend them and after the either incompetence or pettiness to have access to my own animals health records, I'd be comfortable saying they certainly didn't help my pets health in a positive way. read more

The staff at Highlands Pet Hospital is amazing! They were very quick, efficient and really friendly. My dog had an ear infection and I did a drop off appointment at 7:50. They called me at 10 saying that he was ready to be picked up. During pick up I was in and out in 10 minutes with all my questions answered and medication in my hand. read more

We are IN LOVE with Dr. Condon and the incredible staff at Highlands Pet Hospital. Their office is conveniently located for Highland Creek and Skybrooke residents. The office and waiting rooms are exceptionally clean. Our cats love all of the little boxes they have. Unfortunately one of our cats ate a rubber spatula and had to have surgery to extract the pieces. Dr. Condon was amazing and healed our Ace Boogie back to full strength. After a horrible experience with my puppy at VCA I was desperate to find a vet for my fur baby that cared for the well being of my pet and willing to take my personnel preferences into account rather than making a quick inflated dollar. Dr. Condon and her staff are nothing short of amazing!! I have been to a plethora of vets over that past 10 years (I participated in a rescue/re-homing program for 6 years and was a kennel manager for 4 years), this is by FAR the best experience I have ever had. They were extremely attentive and caring. Dr. Condon spent over an hour with me during our first visit to personally get to know Giselle and myself. We were not thrown in a backroom to sit and be seen by a vet tech for 15 min, the vet for 5 min. and rushed out the door. You can feel the compassion that the team has for the animals that walk through the door, you are not just another client here, you are welcomed as part of their vet family. I do not think their are enough words to convey properly how competent and wonderful this practice is. If you are not going to a vet that makes you and your pet feel 120% confident when you walk out the door, you are going to the wrong place. This vet was recomended to us by my mother who also takes her dogs here. I like the small shop feel of the place. The doctors are very nice and caring. We had a cat that was very sick and did end up passing and they where very honest that they could not help us we needed to take him to the Vet ER. II cannot not say enough wonderful things about Highlands Pet Hospital and Dr. Condon and her whole staff. I was driving from Highland Creek to Cornelius to see a vet as I did not feel comfortable with any in the area. Once I went in and met her I decide to change and have never regretted it. I got a Puppy Shih Tzu (2 years ago) that is extremely High Maintenance from the beginning and Dr. Condon has taken care of every issue and never gave up. I wanted to run extra test on her and she said lets just wait which she could easily of had me to do this. Trust me I have had dogs all my life and there is not other vet like Dr. Condon. and her whole staff. read more

Where to start... Dr. Condon and her staff are not only highly skilled veterinary professionals they are also compassionate, patient, and honest. I was a first time dog owner, 3 days to be exact when I first walked into Highlands Pet Hospital and, I quote, "this is Bella, what do I do with her". Dr. Condon did the standard puppy exam, and all was good with Bella, until her fecal came back. Tape worms, a simple thing to get rid of but for some reason not for Bella, we tried everything, all the right drugs (I crossed referenced with a Vet who owns 5 pet hospitals in Toronto), all different doses, and the tape worms would just not go away. FOR THREE MONTHS. So basically I was at highlands 2-3x a week, bringing samples in, just coming in for moral support (I was worried sick), little checkups to make sure she wasn't suffering, etc. If Dr. Condon and her staff were anything less than honest and truly caring, they could have charged me every time I walked through that door, and I would have paid because all I wanted was for those worms out of my puppy. BUT THEY DIDN'T and not only did they not constantly charge me, they requested that the drug companies refund my money for tapeworm medicine that was ineffective on Bella (which I received). I will forever be a supporter of Dr. Condon and her practice and I would recommend her to anyone. read more
