From day one, they had everything together and were always available to answer questions and provide support. The planning process for the ceremony was smooth, organized, and stress-free. The programs they created were absolutely beautiful, and the minister who facilitated the ceremony was amazing -- special thanks to Minister Cameron for such a heartfelt service. During one of the most heartbreaking times in my life, they made the entire experience feel easy, seamless, and flawless. The sanctuary was perfect and fully equipped to provide every accommodation needed to honor a loved one. To add an extra special touch, they presented our family with a beautiful framed photo created from my father's memorial program, which meant so much to us. Their professionalism, compassion, affordability, and attention to detail turned a stressful experience into one that felt peaceful and heartwarming. I truly love and appreciate everything they did for our family and wanted to take the time to express my sincere gratitude. Thank you so much.

He may not be the person handling things in most cases but he took time out to take care of me and my family. The process was very easy and quick and we even walked out with a smile on our faces because he made things light in spite of why we came there. The day of the funeral everything went off without a hitch and everyone was so impressed at how professional the team were. My dad looked as handsome as could be. I can't thank Willie A. Watkins enough for the service they provided during the saddest day of my life.

I never thought I'd have to fight this hard just to say goodbye to someone I loved -- or to protect…read morethe truth about how they died. But thanks to Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and their director, Scott McBrayer, that's exactly what happened. My children's father, Kenneth Michael Massey, died under highly suspicious circumstances in January 2025. There was visible blood, trauma, and the cord used to allegedly hang him was still wrapped around his neck -- yet no autopsy was performed, the scene wasn't preserved, and the death was quickly ruled a suicide. When I requested to see Kenneth again to photograph the cord -- to preserve what may have been the only piece of physical evidence left -- Scott McBrayer denied me access, even though I was the legally authorized next of kin. He told me I would need a warrant or a special team, and claimed he was acting under the direction of Douglas County Coroner Renee B. Godwin. He later admitted in recorded phone calls that the cord had never been removed and that he simply followed the coroner's instructions. Despite knowing this was wrong, and despite my repeated efforts to stop the cremation until the body could be examined properly, he went through with it anyway. Since then, I have sent multiple formal email requests asking Jones-Wynn Funeral Home for the full file, documentation, and communications related to Kenneth's body. Not a single response. No records, no explanation, no acknowledgment. This isn't just unprofessional -- it's obstruction. Scott McBrayer knowingly followed illegal directives, denied us the ability to preserve crucial forensic evidence, and continues to withhold records that I have every right to receive. Jones-Wynn didn't just mishandle my loved one -- they helped cover up what happened to him. This isn't about grief anymore. This is about accountability. If you are looking for a funeral home to honor your loved one and respect your family, I urge you: Do not trust Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.

Our family was devestated. Dillons step father & Sam Clark have known each other years but never in this capacity. He made one call to him shortly after hearing the news. Thats it . The incredible, exp. staff at Sam Clark'sFuneral home worked quickly with the state of Ca. & the mortuary service needed out there to ensure requirments & documentation were in order for out of state transfer, before my family went out there to oversee his return home. They kept us informed and updated. they compassionately guided us through the process and gave my son the utmost of care & respect. They took care of all the details , based upon our wishes, necessary to accomodate the 350+ guest that came to the celebration of Dillons life. They coordinated with the sheriffs office & the 40 + motorcycle riders to give my son an escort fit for a king. What stayed with me the most though, was the genuine sincerity felt from owner Sam Clark, who actively stayed involved & if we were unsure or to emotional to speak he offered us personal advice pulled from years in business, all which contributed to the most memorable farewell anyone could ever have. While our hearts stay heavy they are full of gratitude to everyone at Sam Clarks Funeral Home.
