This is the first time I've ever had a fish dinner where there was enough tartar sauce for all the fish. :) Being all the food was fried; nothing was greasy or soggy. They do have food in there standard bar Fair but what really gets me is the price of the drinks. I had two Coors lights and one bullet bourbon on the rocks and my bill was $10. That coupled with I took over the jukebox and played all the music I wanted to hear that I didn't have to talk to anybody or make any small talk. The place is dark a little run down but otherwise I really enjoy going there. The bartender is as nice as could be. She will put whatever you want to watch on the TV. I hate to post a review like this for fear that people will actually go to my hidden gem and ruin it but I don't care it's freaking awesome and everyone should go there.

Today I had wings. Prior the chicken salad sandwich, the little Becky burger the big Becky burger I've had the tacos. I had a salad with the chicken salad on it. Everything is so fresh. They have a kitchen that is proud of their work. It's a big place with a storied history, back in the 80s this was the old exedra bar you can look it up. There is a reason that dance floor and the bar is shaped the way it is it's hilarious. I looked it up because I thought this was an old concert club and the bartender told me oh you looked it up and we were dying laughing. They have a free parking lot. The bartender immediately apologized, was very polite, and replaced it with the correct wine. Mistakes happen, and we appreciated how friendly and apologetic she was. Unfortunately, what happened afterward completely changed our impression. While we were sitting at the bar enjoying our cocktails and dinner, the incorrect glass of wine sat on the bar top for about 30 minutes. We even joked that someone was going to knock it over because it had been sitting there so long. Later, we watched a waitress ask the bartender for a glass of that same wine for another customer. To our surprise, the bartender said that she had poured that glass by mistake and had planned to drink it herself, then told the waitress to take that same glass and serve it to the customer. We were honestly speechless. Regardless of whether the wine had been touched, it had been sitting uncovered on the bar for approximately 30 minutes before being served to a paying customer. Watching that happen made us very uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about food and beverage handling practices. We understand that mistakes happen--that wasn't the issue. It's how the situation was handled afterward that left us disappointed. We hope management takes this feedback seriously because this isn't the level of service or food safety that customers should expect.
