We almost didn't go because the reviews were not great, but thank goodness we did! We had such a pleasant experience! Horrible. From false advertisement, horrible staff, long waits and only sunny tables. What a horrible experience!! From our waitress taking 20+ minutes to even come over and get our drink order, getting our order wrong, and taking at least 15 minutes to even get our checks after we asked. The place is run by a bunch of non-caring teenagers who are too cool for school. Would like to point out the very false advertisement of housemade chips and them bringing out a basket of very obvious bagged potato chips. But yet fries were an up charge, this is wrong. I'm here from Las Vegas, the capital of GREAT FOOD, to compete in the USATF Outdoor Championships, and I stumbled by accident upon this restaurant. They might want to limit their menu and offer less options at better quality than more at poor quality and overcharge people. Seriously the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. It was 4pm, not super busy and there was only two of us and it took over 50 minutes for the food to get to our table. Family that came in right behind us had ordered, eaten, and left 20 minutes before we got our food. When we got the food I thought it was joke and it felt like a punishment. Walleye sandwich was soggy wet. And burger with pink was overcooked so thoroughly it was dry and crumbly. And idk if the plate was wet when plated but the bottom bun and all the fries on the bottom were wet. It legitimately was the saddest meal I have ever had. Nachos were decent but when asked for side plates, they said they didn't have any at the time... Under new owner: Sharon recommended the Pina Coladas telling us they are just the best. Awful - tasted like a glass of pineapple juice. We had cheese burgers and fries. Hamburger patty tasted like it was a little freezer burnt. The cheese was supposedly American - never seen American cheese look like that or taste like whatever that was. The fries were so salty they were not edible. 1 of the people in our party tasted them first and told the 1 person in the group that likes salt not to add any. I did tell the waitress and she was like I'm sorry about that. When she finally came over to ask if we wanted anything to drink the 3 people that had the Pina Coladas all said water! We were standing around waiting for the check. I had to ask if they'd remove the fries - she should've done that as soon as she was told they were way to salty. I have been at restaurant with the old owns. It was good food. Service ok. But the new owner Nick and his staff are the best. The one burger is a must have it's the black and blue. You have to try it at least once. I have had everything on the menu had not bad all spices melt in your mouth. There is plenty of new stuff coming. This is a great place to come to on your boat or by your car. They have indoor and out door seating right by the lake. It's a casual feel but friendly and local people and food. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to enjoy good music, food and company this is a great spot. It's pretty unique and one of a kind in this area. Ambiance was amazing, I feel like these kinda of joints are more common on the east or gulf coast, so it was fun to see this kind of spot on Lake Erie. Quality of food was great, however, it's a toss up on what you're going to pay for the amount that you get. $15 for the double-patty burger with a layer of shrimp - reasonable. Near same price for 2 tiny walleye tacos - not so much. Tasted great, it's just not much. Also, the only side to come with anything is Lays potato chips, unless you'd like a for real up charge - which is certainly a choice. Again, great spot! This place was amazing to go and have a beer on the lake! Really I think I had 2/3 beers and so did my wife. And it was like 25$ all I know it's nestled behind a boat hanger and there is really no room to park if it gets busy I'm sure, but it's a harbor bar. I don't have boat and was just in town for dinner. Never been to Fairport harbor before, place is great, would definitely go again. It's a local spot that's for sure but laid back to all hell. You walk up and it even tells you to the minute on a chalk board when the sun sets. It was awesome. You want a great sunset on Lake Erie, with out frills and such. This is the bar. Went here on a quiet Sunday. Will probably not return. Service was good, prompt and cheerful. The food was not very good. We both ordered burgers, medium rare and medium. There was zero pink and the burgers were pretty dry. No juice to be found. And for $18 it should have been well prepared. Fries were good. Also got clam chowder which was lukewarm. The bill came to $84 with tip, which was way overpriced for the basic bar food that wasn't good. Two burger dinners, two cups of soup and two drinks. I would not care if it cost $80+ if it was yummy. On the way out, we talked with a worker who told us everything prepared is frozen. Nothing is cooked fresh. Great views, but that's about it. Dirty, old, and needs new ownership. We stopped in after a day on the lake with a group of 4 adults and 9 kids under the age of 10. There customer service was above and beyond! They got us all seated within 5 minutes and our waiter was fantastic. We ordered the chips and queso and the chips were delicious- and def fried on site. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious! He got every order right and kept the drinks coming as needed. We did have one incident where one of us did not receive our food in a timely manner ( we had all basically finished eating), but the staff was amazing and gave him his meal free. We couldn't have asked for a better dinner after the lake. The kids meals were large and the kids loved them. We would recommend it after a day at the lake! read more

One of our favorite "let's go to the lake to eat" spots! Whether it is a Friday/Saturday or Tuesday evening, this is one enjoyable spot. Great view since there is a pier that goes into the lake and you can eat on the pier. Not you liking...then go for the tables on the deck/patio area, still has that great view and sunsets are gorgeous! Also has an opened/covered bar area if you are just in the mood for refreshments. Service is always top-notch and even on busy nights, you are not forgotten. Quick orders followed with quick service of dishes.
