Shout out to the quick response to an unexpected hiccup in our trip from SoCal. At a gas station in Patterson,CA and had a system failure on the VW bug 2013. Yikes! Didn't start up, after making several rest area stops all morning, she finally had just died. Called AAA and they were only available for a battery charge- closest repair shop luckily was 3 miles away. We called another place that was literally next door, and thought we were going there according to directions. We pull in and we were accommodated right away, we were so grateful, that we agreed to business with them. We waited maybe 30 min and ran diagnostics, it turned out it was just a battery issue. Thank goodness they had what we needed and done in minutes! We so appreciate it!! I drove up from LA and I had a low oil pressure warning go off in my 2005 Audi late last night. The next morning, I spoke with Jason on the phone before I took my car there. He was very upfront about the pricing and from our discussion it seemed that he knew a bit about Audi the potential problems. I took my car there earlier today and Jason plugged in the computers and found that the car wasn't generating any error codes. He actually worked on the car for quite some time because an oil pressure warning is a potential big problem. Instead of trying to gouged me or get me to pay him for possibly helpful services, he was completely honest and gave me several possible scenarios. None of which actually benefited him because he wouldn't make a cent. Also, he didn't charge me for any diagnostic fee which I really appreciated. I trust the service here and I would absolutely go back. I would recommend Jason to anyone. If you get stuck off the 5, this should be your first phone call. read more

If I could give zero stars I WOULD. They overcharged me they didn't fix what was intended to be fixed it took a whole month. Once I picked up my car the ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON after a WHOLE MONTH of "being fixed". Made me buy parts that I DID NOT need, only to be buying from someone who SCAMMED ME $400. Don't ever take your motorcycles to them. My motorcycle stoped running after I heard a sound like a backfire. On a Friday we were told that it would be $190. diagnostic fee and that the mechanic would not be able to get to the bike for about a week and that he would call us with the diagnosis. On Monday before 12:00 the manager called and said that the bike was ready to be picked up! We went to pick it up and they said that the battery had emploded and that they replaced the battery and bike starts right up. $427.77 total... They charged $190. for the diagnosis, $176.38 for the battery that they bought for $94.99 from O'Reily's up the street and $47.50 to remove and replace the battery...plus $13.89 tax. What a rip off. Plus the mechanic handed my husband the air cleaner cover and said he need to replace the cover and tighten different bolts on the motorcycle. Why didn't he do it?? Very reasonably priced and most days I can take my car to them same day since its been having a lot of problems lately. I wish they were open on Saturdays. I've had my car in for numerous things such as 1. Front struts. They quoted me about $300 compared to most places I called that wanted twice that 2. Valve adjustment. They quoted me about $150 but I had the Timing belt and water pump replaced at the same time and was a big job $1,153 3. They charge $65/hour for diagnostic I've been happy with the service, they know what they are doing and do it right! We were 6 hours into a road trip when our truck broke down in Patterson late at night. As bad as a breakdown is, NOTHING is worse than a breakdown where you know nothing about trustworthy businesses and are at the mercy of whoever you go to. Upon a recommendation from the hotel staff, we contacted Highway 33 automotive. And I am sure glad we did! They were great in helping get us on our way (we were headed to a funeral in Los Angeles), and their honest opinion about the repairs and the extraordinary lengths they went through to fix the problem was invaluable. It turned out that the only real solution was to replace the engine (our 1997 F150 had 175K miles and I have to admit I was not fastidious about maintenance). Dennis and Jason were so helpful through the whole process - even picking me up from the train station when I came back down to pick it up. Their workmanship was spot on, their fees were fair, and their helpfulness was worth its weight in gold. The silver lining to having this major engine failure when and where it happened was that it got fixed right and for a fair price. Denise took absolute advantage of us. We went in to have our car worked on to be able to pass smog. After we approved $1100 of work because he guaranteed it would pass, we got a call after the work was done that something else could potentially cause the smog to fail and would cost an additional $600. He suggested run the car and attempt the smog and if it didnt pass we'd have to have the work done. Well we ran the car for the day then took it to be smogged and it didn't pass. Upon showing the smog tech what work was done, he informed us most of the work done by Denise was unnessary for the smog check and the problem Denise stated after we approved and paid the $1100 was what was wrong. The tech also told us the quote Denise gave us for the additional work was over triple what it would actually cost to have it fixed. All in all it sucks to be taken advantage of so badly especially since we not only gave up our family vacation to fix the car but now have to come up with additional funds to still get the car fixed to pass. I would not suggust going here at all, especially if you have np knowledge of cars amd plan to trust an expert to be honest with you, Denise is not that guy. read more
