Had a wheel alignment appointment at 10 am. Left for breakfast and came back 2 hours later to find out my car still hasn't been touched. Whats the point of making an appointment? I understand there might be issues with previous cars but at least call to give a heads up!! When the car was finally taken in, it only took the tech 20 mins to do the alignment. A total of 2.5 hours there. 2 of those hours, the car was just siting in the parking lot. read more

I've been going to LS for years for all my vehicle needs. Today, I had a road trip to LA this evening, so I just wanted my tires rotated. I never planned to buy new tires, nor was it in my budget, and I definitely wasn't going to use funds I set aside for this trip. My issue with LS started when they called to say my vehicle was ready but then recommended I get four new tires. They mentioned a credit option, so I decided to try it since I always pay my bills on time and have never been late. Plus it would only be until next week. However, I was only approved for $500, and I needed $1000. The credit says the manager's discretion can approve an increase, but when I asked to speak to the manager, I was told the young woman I spoke with handles all the financials. Long story short, she denied me the additional $500. I asked for my keys and left. It's frustrating because I've trusted them with my vehicle for years, and allowing a customer to walk out with potentially unsafe tires seems crazy to me. But I also understand it's my choice. The sad part is, I took the quote to another shop outside of town, and not only did they approve the credit (at the manager's discretion), but they also matched everything LS would have offered, including the shocks. They prioritized my safety on the road over turning me away, and for that, they now have my full support and business. Thank you, LS, for pushing me out--most likely because of my race. Hands down the best tire shop I've been to in a very, very long time. Customer Service was very much attentive, john and his team provide expertise. John was very detail oriented. I explained to him what type of tires I need and for what purpose I would be using them, he took his time to explain each of his recommendations was very thorough and make sure I was aware of all of the pros and cons, but most importantly, make sure I was safe. He also noticed I needed windshield wipers. He took care of me really well Jessica, the guitar technician was very professional as well. She explained on the clearance seeing how I have a couple sizes in Tire that it would still be OK she personally test drove my vehicle and provided through all checkpoints to make sure I was 100% safe thanks a lot great people great team I will be taking all my vehicles to you guys. What's the point of making an appointment at Les Schwab? Nearly three hours for an oil change. That's not maintenance, that's a hostage situation. And it's not even the first time! My last "appointment" was for tires, and that took over six hours. At that point, I could have built the tires myself out of duct tape and optimism. At the very least, they should post a sign: "Attention customers: cancel your day, bring a pillow, and maybe pack a meal. Heck, we recommend a sleeping bag. Don't worry--Chipotle and Burger King next door will be thrilled." Honestly, I think that's the plan. They're not a tire shop; they're a secret marketing wing for fast food. Got another vehicle done here and one of the workers ripped out our dash cam inside our car while letting it hang on its cord. I have the recorded footage as well. All they could've done was unplug the cord if they did not want workers being recorded or maybe communicated that they need the dash cams off to the client. It takes time to put those things back and if it was broken I would've filed a legit complaint. Teach your employees better. read more

I have used this Les Schwab location for oil changes and tires for a few years now as it is convenient and the customer service was impeccable! I bought 4 new tires (with warranty) and had them rotated pretty regularly. I went in recently because I had my vehicle serviced at a dealership and they mentioned that I needed new tires. I thought that it was strange as my tires should have lasted a lot longer. I went to Les Schwab to inquire about the warranty and was told that the tires were worn because of my wheel alignment being off which voided the warranty. I asked why they never offered or explained that I should have an alignment done at any of my regular rotation appointments. I was told that it is something that I SPECIFICALLY would have to ask for! Now, maybe I'm crazy, but I would think that the people who's job it is to sell, service, fix, and rotate tires would also be able to advise me that my car needed an alignment BEFORE it became a problem. I wasn't even offered any type of credit/compensation for the unused life of the tire! I ended up having to spend almost $1000 to buy new tires and an alignment (at a different retailer)!! LS put brakes on my car last year and I had many issues after which kept making me go back to have them do the "free inspections under their warranty" they kept saying there was nothing wrong on their end, kept giving me the green light. yet I went to take my car to 2 different other break centers they both found the same problems. I brought my SUV in for an oil change. I noticed the tech taking off the tires. The tech came inside and told me my car needed new brakes including pads and said it needed new rotors also. Then he said it needs new struts etc for a total of 1,600 dollars! Sorry, but I had the mechanic at work check it and he said the brakes are like new, and no strut problems. Just a big upsell! Oil change was an expensive 110 dollars. Be very cautious for upsells! read more

I had a great experience at Les Schwab before I was a paying customer, one of my tire pressures was low, a friendly technician helped me with some air without charging any charge. I stopped by afterwards to deliver some chocolate to show my appreciation. I was so impressed with Les Schwab, I returned and I bought 4 tires for my Crossover SUV a few months ago, spent over $1,300. The young lady who helped me was new, the process was quite weird, I had to ask multiple times and stop by after picking up my car to get some paperwork on the warranty of the new tires. There are free tire rotation service with the purchase for every 5,000 miles. Today, I went back for the tire rotation for the first time, I was helped right the way, the service was less than 20 min. Very easy and fast! I have two observations-- #1, there were 3 technicians sat in my car, all with very filthy work uniforms. My seats and the interior are made of WHITE leather. There were black grease marks on my seat when I got my car back, which I pointed out to the last technician who handed me the car. I wish Les Schwab provided some protection for the customers' cars, I love my car, I take care of my car, and I hope other people treat it with respect while under their care. #2, the 2 technicians who drove my car, both forgot to release the break first. From this experience, I will bring my own plastic seat cover for the next tire rotation. I recommended Les Schwab to my mom, and she bought a replacement tire here when she got an unfixable flat. I should have bought a black leather interior car, maybe I would care less. read more

Sooooo they did an ok job and it was fast as I was the only person in there however a number of things transpired that would prevent me from ever going back 1) when I noticed no one there - I asked how long it would take as I had a friend there to give me a ride. The worker said 45-1hr and it was done in 20 min. I should have just stayed and not inconvenienced my friend 2) the price was $117 for oil change. It cost $35 more thn the dealership which is usually known as. The Stealership because the prices are so high. When I asked about the high price the person at the counter said "we aren't really a lube shop". So does that mean you pay high prices and get incompetent service ? Idk - I was frustrated and didn't feel like exploring that comment. 3) it is a tire center and I needed 2 new tires. They forgot the quote at first and I had to ask again. When they finally gave it to me it was $200 higher then I was quoted at another national chain tire company. 4) my tires needed air later that day which tells me they didn't even check them for that much money. Patterson is not that big of a town but I would recommend trying other places for ur lube needs read more

1/25/24 Everyone is professional and made all necessary recommendations. I went in for tire repair and technician found tire unrepairable. I then ask for help to match tire but needed special order. Service was quick, customer service was courteous and helpful. I was in and out within 45min. I then left to pick up tire, I called back service to see if LesSchwab could still make repair. They again were accommodating and agreed to help. They remembered my name and felt they gave me exceptional service. Again I was in and out about less then 45min. Stopped to get a repair on my flat, 15 mins before closing and they said they couldn't help me. I don't live in town and had no spare. I was forced to drive with a flat pumping air every few miles just because they were too lazy to do a quick fix ! Once again I tried this les Schwab for tires for my daughters car to get it ready for her drivers test. Found some that would work made an appointment for today at 5 and I get a call from the wife saying they didn't have them in stock and would need to be ordered. Second time this has happened at this location. Then they tried to upsale my wife for tires that would cost 300 more than what the other were . I choose to give them another chance mainly because I thought it a good idea to have a place my daughter could go to get her tires fixed in an emergency due to me being away for my job. After complaining the manager said he would give like 10% off or something. Comes out to like 50 bucks . Nice but at this point it's more about the terrible customer service les Schwab has. My steering wheel was shaking bad when driving 60-70mph and I didn't think it was the balancing because I figured the tire shop in town who did it had done a good job but they obviously didn't because that was the issue I needed more weights put on. Went in told the guy I need a tire patched. I left the lock there since I have big spikes for my lug nuts. I was told that they would patch it and it would be about an hour so I left. I came back and my tire was not patched. Instead I came back to a quote for 3 tires. One could have been patched and the other rotated. I didn't like the fact that they thought they could just sell me some new ones than to fix the actual problem. This location needs some low profile jacks for lower cars. I will not be going back to this Tire shop. I would prefer the valley tires in Patterson any day. read more

Went yesterday to have my oil changed and driver side tire pressure sensors looked at....4 hours later told I have a nail in passenger front tire. Service tech comes out to tell me they couldn't patch it. So I said that's fine just put it back together since it still held air. Then another hour later a different service tech tells me to follow him over to look at the tire telling me he didn't have the correct machine to put tire back on rim. These guys are supposed to be the professionals and know what they are doing...if he didn't have the proper machine in the first place why did he take it off? So after all this, I'm told they had to tow my van(which I use and had an appointment for my 4 year old disabled son who's in a wheel chair) to Livermore Honda, where they wanna charge me up to $900 to put a tire on. After battling back and forth for a day with the manger SEAN, he says there only gonna pay $300 of it and then talks down to my wife asking if she needs more money or water bills paid. Extremely unprofessional. Will be making a claim and letting corporate know everything. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT KNIW HOW TO HELP CUSTOMERS THE RIGHT WAY. We were traveling from Elk Grove to Carmel when our car's sensor told us we had a low rear left tire. I've been having flat tires from highway construction over and over again. We found the closest tire center we could before we hit no man's land through the hills on the highway . Armando helped us. He was so kind and professional and thoroughly checked not only the problem tire, but all my tires. He even helped me put my lug nut caps on the recently new tire I had to purchase because another tire center failed to do so. The tire center was clean and everyone seemed ready to help. It was prior to opening and my son called Les Schwab and Trey answered the phone even before the store was open. He was able to get us 2 tires that we needed from another store prior to us getting there with the tow truck. Once we showed up Trey was so fantastic! The day was sunny and I just had came back from beautiful visit from family in Stockton . I was heading back home which was 300 plus miles away . Then suddenly the tire warning comes out . I am in the 5 south where I have my one year old is sleeping peacefully in his car seat .The light kept flashing. I asked Siri for the closest tire shop . Les schwab tire center came out . I called and they said they would take see what is the problem . I was greeted by Armando . He had a very calm and collected attitude. Took my tires for its free rotation service and two bolts were cross threaded, when taken off broke. They let me know what happened and asked me to bring it in the next day to repair. No wait time and the problem was quickly fixed! Always great service at this Patterson location and staff eager to help. They ended up replacing all six lug bolts and nuts . They left all kinds of stains in my vehicle! Very careless and inconsiderate. People work hard to take care of their property. Luckily, I managed to remove most stains with bleach wipes I have stored in my vehicle. The driver's visor and whole left and right side of front window panel were stained. The glove compartment and bottom of the driver's side were also stained. I posted a few pictures after I removed the first ones I saw and war contemplating even posting but when I saw the other stains as I continued driving, I had to pull over. read more

My Ram truck had a horrible wobble when applying the brakes. I took it in for a brake inspection and to trouble shot the wobble! They discovered that the front rotors needed to be turned. They performed all the inspections and repairs and I was out the door after about an hour! The technician Cody was very friendly, professional and explained everything that had been done to my truck. They placed my truck at the front door upon checking out. What great service! After I drove about a mile away I was able to test the brake performance and I am so darn happy with the how the truck handles. The wobble is gone and it brakes straighter than ever before! Really expensive, but great customer service. Had to go someplace else for the brake service due to the lack of funding on hand, was told I needed to replace my old calipers with rebuilt ones as a requirement to get the rear brakes replaced, no work arounds. That's the only distasteful thing about it. They didn't have the parts on hand nor did they have used tires either; had to purchase brand new tires as well. I had to literally spend the night at a motel to wait for the parts to arrive. Turns out I ended up finding a cheaper deal elsewhere cuz I had to spend money on a motel which was unexpected so it broke the bank. read more

It's been a few months since I've had to go to les schwab but I needed to take my car in today. For everything to be done it took 5 hours, they apologized for the wait and I said don't worry about it because I thought they had been really busy. When I came back to pick the car up I was kind of shocked because my car had been the only one there. The work they do here is decent, it always takes way longer than usual but as far as I can tell they do the job. My 2 stars is for customer service more than anything. I used to love les schwab because the employees talked to you like a person and not a customer. I tried to start conversations but all I got in reply were chuckles. When I asked about the alignment (because it needed very little adjustment) they talked to me like I was stupid. I honestly feel like I was just another customer to the men working and they wanted me out the door. I used to love Patterson les schwab but with the new people working I'll make the trip to Tracy where I feel completely welcomed and not taken advantage of. read more

We have been living in Patterson for 2.5 years and they are our go-to. They always have great customer service. Whenever we get a flat tire, they end up fixing it for us for free (because the tires were purchased from them). They always give us discounts when we least expect it especially when we purchase a whole set of tires. It's so sad that we currently sold our house and are moving. Will definitely miss coming here. But who knows, we might make a drive to get our cars taken cared of. read more
