I did get a fill-in and I did have to have them cut down along with a replacement now. So I knew it was going to be a little more than normal. However, I was wrong in my mind again. Cost a little more than I expected. But I am very pleased with the results. I recommend people coming here to arrive early if they are a walk in, or get an appointment ahead of time to avoid waiting.

I informed the technician that I preferred to let my nail breathe instead of applying anything that might worsen the issue. After I made this decision, her attitude noticeably changed. She handled my hands roughly and continued suggesting acrylics or polish even after I explained that my nail needed to heal. I found this unprofessional and concerning. Less than a week later, my nail beds are very painful and sensitive, likely from being over-filed. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will NOT be returning.

Needless to say by the time we pulled out of the Hertz lot at RSW the three of us were not happy campers. Stiff necks, shoulders, broken backs, cramped legs and sleep deprived, we agreed to find a reputable body worker but were at a total loss on a Saturday. We called a couple of spas at the big hotels, they were all booked by guests but a very kind woman told me about a former physician that had a full-blown holistic healthcare practice 20 minutes outside of Ft Myers. Turns out this guy used to work at a local resort spa before going out on his own. We called and were able to get in without waiting. We were blown away by Dr. Garcia and his spa operation. He insisted we call him Javier though he is an accredited physician in Cuba. He literally turned a suburban home into a suite of treatment rooms complete with infrared sauna, Thai Massage structure, comfortable and warm massage rooms, and a beautiful waiting area with a flat-screen playing the most peaceful scenes, and with walls of organic products (essential oils, soaps, candles, insense, etc) and the most relaxing vibe. More so, Javier spent lots of time with us - we were there for over 5 hours (one of us ran out for food) by the time he worked on all 3 of us. Totally professional and attentive, he took his time explaining what he would be doing and why certain adjustments were required and why specific areas needed work. Dr. Javier created the Convergent Method on his own, and it reminded us of the holistic approach so many bodywork practitioners take in our hometowns of LA and SF - mind, body and spirit. So here's the whole thing in Lehigh Acres. It was crazy to find a West coast mentality in this tiny town. The three of us are admittedly massage and bodywork snobs so we approached his front door with great trepidation, but just minutes after entering it was clear this was a top-notch operation - again, in the middle of nowhere - literally. We were drooling by the time we walked out of there. We promptly drove over the causeway, got onto Sanibel, found our rented house and passed out for 12 hours, woke up feeling great and energized. Amazing! Javier, raise your prices, man, you're worth much more than you're charging. It's not every day a person gets the chance to have bodywork from a trained physician. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And yes, we went back for massage treatments on the way to the airport for the flight home to California. Can't recommend Dr. Javier enough.

What an experience…read more.. I'm a self-proclaimed thrifting fanatic, and I grew up loving to go to flea markets and priced-per-pound places with my grandma. Maybe it was the heat, but this fleamarket just wasn't hitting when I visited. SETUP: You can really get your steps in here! Park and remember where you parked, then head in. Tons of shops to explore - like miles of it - and it's all covered. It's open air so no AC, but many shops have fans and some have AC running. They have each lane color coded on the floor, so you can remember you started in the red lane, then went to blue, etc. We still got lost haha. FOOD/DRINK: There are restaurants and bars here! Very fun to get a beer to drink while you walk. Most of the food was food truck style - pretty greasy and hot, which didn't appeal to us. SHOPS: This was the disappointing part for me. Maybe it's just not my style, but I was bummed to see it was mostly cheap bulk items and poorly made stuff at that. The t-shirt shops were selling cheap, misprinted Fort Myers stuff - but the prices weren't that crazy good? And they didn't have true tourist stores with souvenirs more than just t-shirts. Some of the shoe stores had some decent deals, a few record store scores, and I LOVED the few well-curated vintage shops inside. But otherwise, it was a lot of stuff I happily passed on. Some of the vendors were a bit pushy (the spa/skincare ones) but otherwise most left us be to browse. Even as a fan of thrifting, I found this to be overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time and likely won't be back.

Wonderful! In mid-December 2014 the Leisure Bay tub we bought from Recreational Warehouse in 2010 starting leaking from the filter area. Rec Warehouse referred us to Sensible Spa Solutions who sent his guy out to look at our tub. The next day "Ben" informed us we needed a new pump unit ($850 including labor, etc.). Two days later he brought out a pump (no box, no warranty), did not fill the tub to test for leaks, and demanded payment on the spot. After filling the tub we found it was still leaking from the filter area. We called Ben who said his guy would come by to have a look. Three days later, after nobody showed up, we left a message that we'd stop payment on his check. Ben called that day and told us he would not come back out to fix the problem, but he'd give us a refund if we removed the pump at our expense and returned it to him. We asked to see our old pump but Ben said he couldn't find it. After hiring someone to remove the pump Ben had installed, we discovered that pump a) wasn't new; b) was missing the impeller and seal kit; and c) wasn't properly installed. We returned the pump to Rec Warehouse and told them what we thought of Ben at Sensible Spas. After we received our refund, we found Laurel & Becky West at Hillbilly Hot Tubs. They happily brought out a new pump in the box with its warranty. Laurel installed the pump and applied sealer around the filter. Becky filled the tub, tested everything and set the pH and bromine levels. They charged us far less than Sensible Spas to actually fix the leak and repair Ben's mess. Had we called Hillbilly instead of Sensible Spas, the leak would have been fixed the first time for the cost of the sealer plus labor. read more

My son gets excited knowing we're going to go by her so he can play fetch with and pet Finn her doggy while we're there. I was recommended by a waiter from a nearby restaurant to come see her because as he said, she's really good and they get all their uniforms thru her! Their uniforms look good! My first visit went like this: I walk in with 4 shirts in a bag. There were two customers already in line. I noticed right away the rapport Paola had with them. They were getting things made for their employees. One guy was getting shirts, jackets and hats from the in-store inventory in various sizes and designs for Paola to customize for his new employees. That took quite a few minutes which i understood. Two people walked in after me and she recognized them immediately. Paola asked me if they could please go ahead of me as she already knows their orders and it'll be quick and that way she can dedicate more time to me afterwards since she would have to work with me to draw out my design. Of course I agreed and she was right, they both were done within a minute. Paola then walked me thru her process and made sure everything I requested was correct, she even brought over the spool of yarn to ensure that was the exact color I was requesting. She told me she would text me within 2 days with a sample embroidery of my design. Two days later (on a Friday) Paola texted me with the prefect embroidered sample. Unfortunately I misplaced my phone while it was on silent and didn't find it until after 9p that night. I felt horrible when i found my phone and saw that Paola had texted me throughout the day and kept her shop open two hours late because she was so worried that something had happened to me and she wanted to make sure i was safe! I reached out to her the following morning and again her concern was for my safety, she never once treated me differently because I made things harder for her. I've never had anyone care for my personal safety outside of being a client ever, but as time went on I've found out that, that's just who she is as a person! Monday came and i brought two more shirts to her along with a request to change one of the two designs as well as the placement of said design. Her response was yes, no problem, I'm so glad you're okay, i was so worried for you. She asked me to text a picture of the design and she'd send me a new embroidered sample. I found a picture of what I wanted online. I didn't confirm the color on the changed design and realizing this Paola sent me a mock up of the design before making the embroidered sample. I accidently confirmed the wrong colors. The following day i messaged her asking if she had done it already, knowing full well if she had completed my order it was on me for being wrong. Thank God, something told her to wait on it and she listened. We then confirmed the colors and she told me she'd have it done by the following week. The following week came and I was out of town most of the week so I had to delay my pick up date. When I finally got my order, it was better than I could've expected! My husband looks so good in the clothes Paola made for him! He always had a thing with not finding shirts that both fit him well and look good and thanks to Paola he now feels confident in her designs! Thanks Paola! We recommend everyone use your service. You're an amazing woman who runs your business with a golden heart. We appreciate you and will be returning for all of our needs!
