But once you step inside, it feels more cramped than expected, doesn't look that nice, and my friend and I were both unsatisfied with the drink selection. They're one of those weird places where they only allow credit. But this place had a pop up that said "Debit? Yes or No", which doesn't make any sense since you can't do debit. We had a guy come out from the back to the cash register, and while he was chill, he seemingly didn't care. Overall, this place doesn't look that great, didn't have something we wanted to purchase, and didn't have the customer service, to all combine as the ingredients to make me never go again. Unless I really want Chester's Chicken and don't want to drive that far from my friend's house in Toledo. I didn't even realize they sold Chester's Chicken until I saw a picture on here. Stop by the Shell just a little bit down the road, or go to the Gasco or the grocery store. It's not much farther.

And the 2 younger gals that work there are always working hard and friendly. If it were them I'd give them a 5 star. The owner should know at around 11:40 I stopped in tonight and watched a guy put beer in his backpack in front of the guy cleaning, then walked up to the counter and the lady who looked to be older, gave him a very big bag of hot food and told him to take it off the property, for free! As he left I told her about the guy putting beer in his bag and she laughed and said "oh I've known him since he was a kid, that little shit. I'll talk to him next time". Really?? I would be very upset as an owner to know this. My wife who is a sweet kindergarten teacher dreads going here because of the tweekers that are always there. I'm tired of seeing this and will pay more to go to the Shell station right next door because they don't allow this.

All surrounding stations had prices soaring above Safeway Express, as high as $4.09!!! Even our go to ARCO was $3.49?! This Safeway Express offers a large area of gas pumps, I think 4 islands, and the Convenience store for quick grab snacks and or drinks etc. Highly recommended.
