Deep down I knew this was probably a result of my actions and/or weaknesses, and overall I knew I loved and respected the staff and environment of the place, however as the years went on I was tempted to be bitter (especially after feeling so well received in future public schools). Fast forwarding a decade had brought me more experiences and perspective, allowing me to more thoroughly appreciate what Northshore was doing in my life at the time. They held a high standard in a way that balanced love and firmness. I think we were both growing and learning at that time, and I cannot deny that I was shown love, guidance, an example of excellence, etc. Super important things to a growing kid. Fast forward another decade, I was able to return to Northshore and visit with my old principal and some of the teachers I had back then. An awesome experience to see them as fellow adults, see their personal/professional growth and the success of their academics, school campus, etc. Even got to have a chat with one of my childhood heroes Marc Marion. Marc: well done, good and faithful servant! Coming full circle, I now have a kindergartener at Northshore. We weighed many options during our research, and we felt the overall benefits far outweighed the sacrifices. Almost a year into school, I can confidently say we made the right decision. Every school and every person has issues, quirks, etc., yet the level of excellence in all areas has surpassed our expectations. I could list all the positives I've seen, but I think Northshore does a well enough job of marketing themselves, so I'll leave it at this: I couldn't ask for a better place to entrust a significant portion of my son's daily mental/physical/spiritual growth. I. Hate. Daycares…read more Hate them. They stink. They smell. The staff comes and goes. They are gross. I love this one. Miss Amelia is AMAZING with my child. She adores kids and it shows. And the assistants, whenever I drop Henry off, someone is always there to swoop him up and love on him. They do daily reports, they respond to my messages, they put up with me forgetting the door code. I have been around the block with child care, 5 total daycares. I promise that this one is a good one! They even get my son to eat!

I would not mind coming in for an hour and teaching that portion if you would like. My daughter went through the program about a year ago and she tells me that topic is not covered. I told her that's hard to believe but, it is in the drivers guide. Maybe she didn't pay attention that 39 minutes it was talked about???? Simple- Steer it and clear it if possible. -call 911 -Have DL, Reg, POI in vehicle. -Do not accept not calling the police an option as the other person may not have insurance or valid DL etc. there is a reason why they want to leave before the police arrive!! Even if the damage is non reportable, the officer can still write the person at fault a ticket!!! Anyway just a thought, Keith

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 911 Driving School…read more I paid over $630 each for two of my kids to attend driving school, and for that kind of money, I expected to actually be able to schedule their required drives in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, there is little to no availability, and we have been placed on a cancellation list that never seems to move. One of my kids was able to complete one drive and thankfully has another scheduled toward the end of the month. My other child cannot even get her first drive until the end of the month. On top of that, I can't schedule anything for the following month because there is currently nothing available to book. It is incredibly frustrating to spend well over $1,200 for two students and then be told it could take months just to complete their drives because there aren't enough appointments available. If you are accepting this many students and charging families this much money, there should be adequate staffing and drive availability to accommodate them. At this point, I feel like I could have taught them myself and saved a significant amount of money. I understand that Washington State has requirements for teen drivers, but families shouldn't be paying hundreds of dollars per student only to discover after enrolling that scheduling the required drives is nearly impossible. To make matters worse, when I called for assistance, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful rather than understanding or willing to help find a solution. For the amount of money families are paying, I expected much better availability, communication, and customer service. This experience has been extremely discouraging and frustrating.

The teachers are caring and experienced. My children were very prepared for Kindergarten both academically and socially. They loved their time at preschool and still remember those days fondly. As a parent I felt incredibly supported and encouraged.
