I have seen first hand on at least 4 occasions (Investigating Collisions), one being as recent as Monday where I have heard young drivers not knowing what to do when they are involved in a a collision. I would not mind coming in for an hour and teaching that portion if you would like. My daughter went through the program about a year ago and she tells me that topic is not covered. I told her that's hard to believe but, it is in the drivers guide. Maybe she didn't pay attention that 39 minutes it was talked about???? Simple- Steer it and clear it if possible. -call 911 -Have DL, Reg, POI in vehicle. -Do not accept not calling the police an option as the other person may not have insurance or valid DL etc. there is a reason why they want to leave before the police arrive!! I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 911 Driving School. I paid over $630 each for two of my kids to attend driving school, and for that kind of money, I expected to actually be able to schedule their required drives in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, there is little to no availability, and we have been placed on a cancellation list that never seems to move. One of my kids was able to complete one drive and thankfully has another scheduled toward the end of the month. My other child cannot even get her first drive until the end of the month. On top of that, I can't schedule anything for the following month because there is currently nothing available to book. It is incredibly frustrating to spend well over $1,200 for two students and then be told it could take months just to complete their drives because there aren't enough appointments available. If you are accepting this many students and charging families this much money, there should be adequate staffing and drive availability to accommodate them. At this point, I feel like I could have taught them myself and saved a significant amount of money. I understand that Washington State has requirements for teen drivers, but families shouldn't be paying hundreds of dollars per student only to discover after enrolling that scheduling the required drives is nearly impossible. To make matters worse, when I called for assistance, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful rather than understanding or willing to help find a solution. For the amount of money families are paying, I expected much better availability, communication, and customer service. This experience has been extremely discouraging and frustrating. read more

The instructors all have different rules. Tonight's said if you ask to go over a question she went over already you'll take the class again! $500 class again-no way! The other 2 were happy to help the kids and make sure they got the info. They have been late to start class for 3 of the 4 classes-tonight was 16 minutes late. They don't reply to emails. My daughter was their to take a driving test. The driver instructor was very rude he told my daughter that she could not take the test due to her wearing g Ugg shoes. He was very disrespectful about it. He told her they have no refunds . He than proceeded to take another girl who was tsking the drive test in place of my daughter mind you wearing the same ugg shoes. My daughter is native american and the other girl was European american white. I couldn't attend my daughter's drive test that day I had to work. But I believe that my daughter was wrongfully discriminated against. My daughter is sweet and very respectful. When I called to speak to a manager. The young girl who answered was very rude. And stateded"we don't give any refunds" she started "the Washington state department of licensing says my daughter can't wear those type of shoes to take a dri e test" I asked if that was stated on the 911 driving school website. She said yes. I asked her are you sure. (It doesn't say that anywhere on their website) she never got the manager. I than asked if my daughter can take the test with another driver. This was an option. My daughter is rescheduled. I feel like this needs to be addressed. I wonder how many people, young kids of color they do this too. They just take their money and not give them a chance to even take the tests. No refu d policy needs to be adjusted or a new staff. Who do not discriminate. This is not right. read more

Note: The instructors at 911 were nothing short of awesome and this review is absolutely not about them. My experience with 911 was super disappointing. To begin with, I called and asked if they had many adult learners. They said that yes, they had lots of adults who went through their program. However, their entire program was entirely targeted towards teens. For example, the word "teens, book your driving test here" was the button I needed to click on to schedule my drives. Also, classes continuously made mention of driving with our "moms and dads". The worst thing was that I was forced to come in and sign my own "parent package". Meaning.. I had to sign a document as my own parent. When I pointed out that I'm in my 30's and it was kind of ridiculous, they said I absolutely had to do it because it was their policy. So okay.. I signed the parent package. As an adult learner, this felt more than a little demeaning. I understand that the majority of learners are going to be teens, but when I was led into believing that there were more adults taking the course.. it kind of felt embarrassing. Secondly, during Covid, I ended up waking up sick for a day that I had both a written test and my last instructional drive scheduled. It's 911's policy that if you give less than 24 hours notice, you get dinged with a $40 fee. I thought that perhaps during a global pandemic, they might be more lenient about this. However, they tried to insist that I come in or pay. I didn't want to subject my instructor to being in a car with me while I was coughing and such so I was forced to pay the fee. This one, I know, is a bit nit picky. I just assumed that they might be a bit more understanding during Covid with the drives. (They *did* reschedule my written test for free, however.) Ultimately, because of the construction going on around their business, I was not able to make it to their office to do my written test and kept getting dinged with these $40 fees whenever I tried to make it there on the bus and found I ended up stranded. The construction was absolutely beyond their control. However, the abrupt and dismissive tone from the admin staff made me feel like they thought I was trying to skip my test on purpose. (...?) These people just really sounded like they didn't want to be there. I ended up scheduling both my written and driving test with Defensive Driving in Stanwood and was able to get them done quickly and easily and without having to sign a parent package. --- Tl;Dr? This school is probably great during non Covid times and for teens and not adult learners. However, this was unfortunately not my experience! Because I ultimately went somewhere else to get my license after paying for the full program, I have to give this place a 1/5 stars. read more

This school is not worth the money. Clearly a franchise. I wish I had selected the Monroe location. They are very quick to charge you if you miss a drive session, however, we noticed they always started the drives late ND brought our son back 10-15 minutes early. Many times we would get there 10 minutes prior to the end of his scheduled drive and he would already back sitting on the lobby. One time we called and explained we were stuck in traffic and asked if they could allow us 10 minutes rather than the 5 in their policy and they said "no" and thar we would be charged an additional $40. (Even though all their instructors are volunteers!) We ended up being on time by 2 minutes but it spoke volumes to us about this business, especially after having all of our son's driving sessions cut short. read more

Best experience we could imagine! From the initial enrollment concierge with Angie Bolter who helped us enroll and get a driver's permit with the state, to our driving instructor Rory, we had a wonderful experience. Our daughter Ally is a more confident driver and as parents, we are more comfortable allowing her to drive by herself once she turns 16. Both of my children of driving age have taken their instruction at 911 Driving School in Marysville. The instructors do a great job of not only giving the students the knowledge the state requires but also the practical knowledge from their experience as police officers. They know the things that new drivers struggle with and they are able to point out those common issues to the students. On top of that if you have a student who struggles with learning disabilities they work with you to make sure the students can be successful. The Instructors who administer the drives to the students are patient and encouraging. They make sure the students are prepared before they tell them it's OK to take their final test. I cannot say enough about the front office staff who works with you on any issues or questions you might have. You use a website for scheduling the drives but sometimes you might need to call them to sort some of that out and they are prompt and helpful which allows you to get the times you need. I fully recommend the 911 Driving School in Marysville. We've used them twice and will use them again when the time comes for our final driver. read more

This is one of the best driving school's around. I like the fact that the instructors are cops, as they've seen the consequences of bad driving decisions, and are in a unique position to be great driving instructors. You can get the classroom training, on road training, the DOL written test, and the DOL road test all in one place. Customer service is the support you offer your customers -- both before and after they buy and use your products or services -- that helps them have an easy and enjoyable experience with you. (Salesforce, 2021).The 3 important qualities of customer service center around three "p"s: professionalism, patience, and a "people-first" attitude, all of which are missing from this particular location in Marysville, WA. This school started offering online classes before they knew how to manage the platform they offered. This resulted in them falsely accusing my child of something another child did. They refuse to give me a refund even after I provided proof my child did not break any rules. Then they posted about the situation on their FaceBook page twisting our conversation. They are a terrible business and lack in class and education in the tech. **update Zoom bombing is being investigated around the US right now and I showed proof this was not my son. As far as cussing at someone in class that is false he cussed at his sister and got in trouble he didn't know the mic was on as they were on break. furthermore no one said anything to me or my son about anyone hearing the argument between his sister and him. You didn't inform me of this until the day after your class was infiltrated by someone and you don't have the knowledge to know how to use zoom! One more thing I'd like to add is why wasn't an instructor present during the class to see what was going on while it was going on? You are at fault for these children seeing inappropriate things and you need to apologize to my son and my family for blaming him publicly for something he didn't do. I went in a little nervous after the experience that I had had at another driving scho 2 days prior! I failed miserably on that one even though I felt that I did great and the instructor was not making any sense! 911 was professional, efficient, and on time! I actually got my driver's license on July 4th. It was indeed a great Independence Day! I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone over the other driving school that I had used previously. I'm posting this review here because if it hadn't of been for these guys I never would have known to go over to the 911 Driving School on Evergreen way (they don't have a yelp page of their own). I had gone to the Marysville location in hopes of possibly being able to squeeze in a drive test appointment but the really friendly receptionist told me they were booked but to call the Evergreen location and let them know I was coming since it was on a walk-in basis and they were closing soon. I cannot express how impressed I was by this school. My drive instructor was Clay, and he was honestly the sweetest and most caring examiner in the world. You could really tell he wanted me to do well. He did his job correctly, but also made sure that I felt safe and eased up the tension by getting to know me a bit prior to the test and making me feel confident throughout it. Now, I'm someone who went through a lot of crap with Margo's driving school over in smokey point and they made me feel like there was no hope left for me..but 911 driving school made me realize how good of a driver I really am. I could ramble on and on about the issues I faced at the other school but I've already posted a review about them so if you want to know what happened its on that page. However, my main point here is that if you go to 911 Driving School you won't regret it. They really do believe in each person and want them to succeed (at least that's what I gathered from testing there and observing a bit). Let me put it this way. I went to Margo's and failed by a point and a half due to the examiner being unfair and probably the entire school being money hungry..and went to 911 and passed with a 90 all in the same day. How could this happen?? Because one school was only out to get my money and the other believed in me. I would recommend them to everyone, especially the Evergreen location. The staff is good-humored and professional. I felt very confident with my choice of the 911 Driving School for my children. The instructors being police officers and having seen it all, were realistic, compassionate, and most importantly patient with their students. They're not all doom-and-gloom, but provide a firm, realistic training for young drivers. All of the staff from the front desk, to the classroom instructors to the driving instructors exceeded our expectations. They were thorough, accommodating, polite, encouraging and serious about the jobs they were doing. We selected 911 because of the caliber of instructors and we were not disappointed. Many were able to share first hand experiences that had happened in our community and many of those reports added an element that other programs might not have. Each drive was scheduled for what they were to learn and feedback from the instructors to the parents was valuable so that areas of weakness could be focused on and strengths praised. Not impressed. I will say the cops were good teachers. Front desk personnel were stupid and frustrating to deal with regarding scheduling. They rarely answer their phone and there is no message option. Even while i was at their front desk and the phone was ringing I told the stupid lady she could answer it as i didn't mind. She says she doesn't answer it if she's doing something else. Wow! No wonder i couldn't get through to schedule or cancel drive sessions. Business end needs a lot of improvements. Then at the end wound up paying an additional $80 because i couldn't get through on phone to reschedule 2 drive sessions. Ouch. read more

Marysville 911 Driving School is the Best! Everyone there is wonderful, from the front desk to the instructors. Rory was my son's favorite instructor but he really liked all of them. He said they all made class fun and he learned a lot. For parents, it is peace of mind knowing they are taught by Officers and are stressing the importance of safety. The online scheduling for drives and testing was also great as we could do it in the evening. My son passed his test with flying colors thanks to his experience at 911! read more

What an amazing place this is! I can't explain how much I appreciate every officer here at 911 driving school. I've recently passed my 1 year mark since passing my DOL test (90 on knowledge test and 92 on skills test) and I have NOT been in an accident and have NOT been pulled over and given a ticket and it's all thanks to this school. I had a lot of anxiety about driving and just thinking about it would make me sick to my stomach but having actual police officers teaching me how to drive made me feel at ease and I wasn't nervous at all because I knew I was with someone who knew all the rules to driving and I felt confident that I was driving the right way. Here at 911 driving school they really teach you so much and go into great details When teaching you all the odds and ends of driving. Not to mention the classroom is so much fun! I know a lot of kids are like "police officers are mean and uptight" but that is NOT true at all! The officers here are funny and really welcoming, I felt like I could laugh and be myself in the classroom while learning all I needed to be a successful driver.
