Surrounded by gorgeous trees in a nice neighborhood... and it's near the hospital just in case your kids get a little too "spirited" with their jousting. Ha! Adjacent to a soccer field, swimming pool and public restrooms. A gorgeous, spacious park the kids love. Can't wait to spend more time here.

All the adults and children role played as if we lived way back in the day and we were able to facilitate this given the awesome playground. There is seating outside and inside the area with benches everywhere. There are restrooms available. Oh and there was a Pokemon gym so that was awesome to have as I do like to play when I can. We didn't utilize these features but we could see a few fields and there was a team practicing baseball. There are also a few areas for hopscotching and four square. Well work the visit for all parties involved.

Been going to this park since 2006 when it was nothing more than a cow pasture with a mowed walking…read moretrail and a cow pond. I used this park to recover from a war injury in Iraq. I appreciated this park because it was a grassroots effort. Since then the park has become more sophisticated with playgrounds, picnic shelters, restrooms and a little ones book library. One part of the park that endears me for walking are the mowed paths, some seem on purpose, others seem for maintenance. I use these paths, in combination with the main path to change directions on my walk. During my standard one hour walk, I never get bored and can change directions to avoid other walkers. Sometimes I walk my dogs there and do not want them near other dogs. When I was using trail for rehabilitation, there was a cute lady that was training for tu he Mountain to Sea trail, we trained the same time every day and I could change routes to avoid the impression that I was stalking her. The trail also has some elevation changes, but the distance between hills is small enough that you can keep your heart rate up if you speed up on downhills. Surprisingly, I have never seen anyone running here, the same qualities that make it a good walking path, would make it a good running path. There is a definitive set of rules posted, but I have never seen any enforcement during my hundred or so visits. With that said the only violations I have seen are off leash dogs. I have seen a lot of people fishing at the pond, but no one catching. I see th ed m work around the perimeter of the pond with negative results. They definitely need to look into getting the pond stocked, maybe with state help. The most amusing use of pond was by labrador who retrieved sticks quite nicely an DC had a blast doing it, although at cost of violating park rules. Overall, I would recommend park for runners, walkers, children that need some play time. I don't know what the reservation policy for picnic pavilion is, it could be a great place bbn for a birthday party as long as someone else isn't already there.

Very low key park that has a small playground with 2 slides, a swing set, a children's climbing…read morewall, decent sized field that would be good for football or Frisbee, and some running tracks that leads to who knows where (I'll explore it in the future).
