Lots of areas for dogs to run. There's a center area with chairs and umbrellas, a wood path area and a creek area. Lots of water for dogs are available, along with an agility course. An idea to improve the park is to add a porta potty for the dog parents. read more

Martin park is a very big park there's a lot of action there during the week and on weekends. A lot of people and a lot of dogs. This park is a off leash park meaning almost all the dogs are not on a leash. I have not yet had a problem and I've been there several times. There are streams of water where dogs like to play around and lay in. There are also some Sandy areas. Overall a great park to let your dog loose and run around in. There are no gates to keep them in. read more

Beautiful park but people bring aggressive dogs and lots of intact males. Spent the day here and my 5 month old puppy was almost attacked twice by two different dogs. Owners did nothing and didn't even apologize. My dog is non confrontational and very submissive and the fact she's almost been attacked twice in the same day is concerning. I will not be bringing her back as there's too little control and owners don't take responsibility. There's needs to be a separate area for small dogs! It's also difficult walking into the park as when my dog was attacked it was entering and leaving the park(still back in the park but we where on our way in or out). read more

I can't believe I didn't hear about this place sooner! Such a perfect park to take your dogs off leash. The stream is perfect for them to romp around in, but be careful, that part isn't fully fenced and they can escape down the stream to who knows where! read more

My four legged companion and I have now made this park our go to for off leash activities. Whether we want to go for a run on the many trails tucked back in the trees, play frisbee/fetch balls in the open area surrounded by trees and trails, get our feet wet in the creek (flowing from a spring) or just await the newcomers and initiate play/wrestle time, this little doggy haven is the place to do it all. There are regulars that have their designated times morning or afternoon. I find that it's great to link up with people who often go to Martin park because their dogs are usually the more calm/submissive type and we like to surround ourselves with stability. But, this isn't always the case... Some may turn their heads at the idea of an off leash unfenced area however, if you and your furry one are on good terms there should be no issues. The fence is lined through out the back of the park so once you're in the trees you're far from open roads. Come play with us we usually go weekend mornings and every to every other weekday evening. read more

We LOVE this park so much. It is definitely worth the 40 minute drive for us. The streams are a plus because our little guy loves dipping his feet in the water from time to time. The environment and atmosphere of the whole place is just awesome. Our little one is always wiped out after spending a few hours here. read more

I love this park. I literally had so much fun with my family here for three whole hours. My two dogs and my son had an amazing time. The only bad thing about my trip was that my car got broken into. They shattered two of my windows. I walked up to my car with glass covered all over my son's carseat. I had nothing of value for them to take but the windows come up to 521 dollars in damage. As a teacher that amount isnt easy to come up with. They lady who parked next to me was robbed as well. She lost over 500 dollars worth of stuff and also has to pay the damages from the window. So even though the park is considered to be 5 stars because my family and I had so much fun there. You have to be careful. Make sure you park near a camera. It's crazy how I went here to do something inexpensive with my family and walk out having to spend more than half my paycheck. read more

This is a great giant dog park. Everyone is nice. I would really recommend visiting this park. You will not regret it. Check out the small stream and the sandhill cove which is a hidden place my pups love to climb and jump around. read more

It took us a few minutes to figure out where to go when we first started walking, but once we got to the wide open spaces and then the creek areas, we didn't even feel like we were in a park. It just felt like taking the dog out in the country. He had so much fun and so did my kids actually. read more

My dog and I absolutely loved this dog park. We spent well over 2 hours here with her playing in the creek. We will definitely be going back. The people were all so nice that we encountered and the dogs were all well behaved. Sierra (my AmStaff) definitely had more than enough room to run and explore. She made tons of new friends (human and 4-legged). The creek was her favorite spot since she's a little water bug. It was definitely worth our drive from Fayetteville, NC. I recommend this dog park to everybody that I encounter that is looking for somewhere new to take their dog. read more

The dog park is amazing. The down side is people who bring their small children and let them run around. While their dogs are used to this a majority aren't. I have three large dogs who sound like horses and when they see a child run they will chase the child and knock them down on accident because of their size. I end up getting yelled at. I don't bring my dogs to a child's park. This is their time to run and have fun. read more

As far as dog parks go this is the best!! My family went on a drizzly day so there weren't too many other people or dogs however, I could see this place getting very busy on nicer days. I live in Fayetteville but we will be visiting at least twice a month from now on! read more

Great open area for dogs to play and socialize. Benches and chairs throughout the park. Was told there is 35 acres set aside for exploring. Shades clear stream for water loving dogs. Patrons there were very friendly and welcoming. read more
