I arrived on time for my 12:45 appointment with Dr. P. Doukides at Bethesda Hospital at 1905 Clintmore in Boca Raton, FL. I was told there'd be at least a two-hour delay and that I might not be seen at all, with no prior notice, no concern, no apology--completely unprofessional and unacceptable treatment, especially for someone with serious health conditions. What type of doctor does something so frivolously? Yep, I was angry, feeling dismissed while dealing with something genuinely difficult and risky for my health. Then facility continued to bill us and threatened our credit - all because the doctor's office released our insurance info and failed to advise we were a self pay. Their attitude went down hill real fast. They refused to help us clear this up we were forced to negotiate with the procedure facility to save our credit.
