It's a super cute store with lots of varieties, and the plants all looked quite healthy. I do think it's a little overpriced -- granted, I'm not sure what the Rochester plant market is like, but I figured it would be less expensive than Chicago, but everything was a $2-$8 more than the local plant nurseries I frequent in Chicago and the suburbs. But, the store is very cute and has lots of cute plant accessories. I'm kicking myself for not getting the cute leopard plant pot I saw. I love the atmosphere of the place, though. Lots of seating and tables set up for those who visit the cafe, and there's lot to look at if you just want to walk around a bit.

We just had them replace our driveway, today: they tore up the old, crumbling driveway, added gravel to create a smooth, level bed, then they applied three inches of new asphalt over the gravel bed, smoothing it, making it perfect! The best part was their attention to details, and the extra attention they paid to mating the blacktop to our concrete driveway skirt (second garage), and butting the asphalt against our attached garage's floor. They made it match perfectly! On our second garage's concrete skirt, they cut off the rough edge to form a perfectly straight edge to match the asphalt to, smooth and even. They were honest with us, they followed through on what they said they would do, without any issues. They cleaned everything up, leaving our yard as good as it was when they arrived -- well, better, actually, with the new asphalt driveway! The quality of their work is superb -- we will always deal with State Line Asphalt, going forward, for all of our asphalt work. We are ecstatic with the new driveway! We had lived with the old one for seven long years. It was like Christmas morning, seeing that perfect, smooth, and thick blacktop, where a crumbling driveway had been, for years. We love it! We just met with Tom today to have him inspect our first new house purchase. We have not had any…read moreprior experience with home inspections and offer our experience up for consideration. Tom arrived with all the tools he would need to do the inspection. From reading on the internet, I guess sometimes, this is not the case and the buyer is expected to bring somethings. I liked that he brought all his own equipment as he knows what he'll need much better than I will. He is a very friendly and personable guy. He kept us engaged with teaching opportunities throughout the home and tips on how to maintain or maximize our home experience. He seemed very thorough throughout the inspection. Certainly we won't know for sure until we have more experience with the home and with home inspectors, but to our initial experience he seemed great. Tom invited us to contact him at any point for advice with any of our home needs or questions which we appreciated. All he asked in return was that if we appreciated his help to continue to recommend him on to others. I guess this is the best venue we have to do just that! When it comes to price, he charged us $375 which seems reasonable considering this was for a fairly large home and the inspection took about 3:30 hours. He was able to take credit cards at the point-of-service too, which rocks. All in all, I would recommend Tom to you for the above reasons. Cheers, and congrats on the new home!

Our home was inspected by Home Inspections Plus. Our home is currently empty and when we went by to…read morecheck on the house several days later we found the furnace had been turned off and left off. It was 45 degrees in our home. The fans had all been left on on high, my bathtub muddy, an outlet cover removed and laying on the floor, and a few outlets in need of resetting. We are so fortunate we caught it when we did and didn't have frozen pipes. I understand the other things but it is unprofessional and unacceptable to forget to turn the furnace back on in the winter.
