Let me start off by Saying Adam LoFaso is the rudest, most unprofessional sales person I have ever dealt with. We Purchased a 4 piece Kitchen set (0ver$20K) followed the installation guides and the refrigerator Kitchen Trim that came with the unit was Different from the Installation Manual. Contacted Adam, He proceeded to tell me I had a "Cabinet" Problem, for about 2 months. We could not open our Pantry Doors for 6 months in total. I asked to speak to his manager. I called three times and left 3 different messages for Colleen D' Andrea - Most Unprofessional Store Manager, that i never met or spoke to, because see never returned my call or reached out. When that didn't work out went back to Adam, he said this guy can help. Ryan Way - Director of Sales. He began working on a Resolution, but after 2 weeks, he simply ghosted me. Didn't take any calls or emails. Adam then emailed me this. Hi Casey, I spoke with Ryan and it looks like the grill cannot be installed without the trim pieces. The cabinets will need to be adjusted for the doors to open properly. Which wasn't true. They never once reached out to Jenn Air. If I were Ryan Way I would be ashamed of myself. At this point Communication stopped with Hillmon / Don's Appliance. I contacted Jenn Air Directly. The Jenn Air put me in touch with their Master Designer and Builder. I explained to him everything that was going on that i shared with Hillmon/ Dons appliance and He knew what i needed. Thank you Tim Arends - Jenn Air's Master Builder. He found the correct trim pieces and shipped them to my house. I installed them myself, because there was no way i was asking Hillmon/Don's Appliance for anything ever again. I will never buy from Hillmon's or Don's Appliance's ever again. The whole experience was traumatizing. These 3 individuals were absolutely horrible at their jobs. Compliments to Bruce Eisenberg at the Cranberry, PA Don's Appliance location! We recently purchased a Maytag clothes washer with five year parts and labor warranty. Bruce was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in assisting with selection of the best value for us. He also took time via the phone (after the sale) to answer some additional questions related to the warranty etc. We are repeat customers and have been happy with Don's Cranberry sales, delivery and service staff. read more

Purchased an oven from this location and the installers would not hook it up because they stated I need to run another line before they could hook up the oven. The installers are NOT electricians and have no clue what they are doing. I had a certified electrician hook up the oven with no issue. He stated that the installers for these companies are just that drive the truck and drop off the product. I paid to have the oven installed and all they did was slide it into the hole and walked out the door. I ended up paying an electrician for the hook up. The sales person said they would not reimburse me for the install because their people slide the oven into the hole, hence they installed the oven. I think install means a working oven not just slide an oven into a hole. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this store. read more

Terrible service and follow up.. I called for service on my SubZero appliances ( 2 were not working) I was told by the service associate (Pat) not to worry, she would call back with service info. She said I hate when people say they will call back and don't. WELL, she did not call back. I tried 6 times in the last three days to get someone to return a call with no luck. Their number has a way to leave a call back number without losing your place in line. I have done that four times and still not call back. I spoke to a salesman and asked for help- still no call back. Christmas is only two weeks away, and I have no refrigerator and NO help from Hillmon. I have purchased all my appliances from them and regret that decision based on their poor service and lack of the simple courtesy of a return call. read more

I purchased a full set of appliances from Hillmon a year ago. The refrigerator hasn't worked properly for at least 8 of the 12 months I have owned it. Their service department haven't been able to fix it and they don't return phone calls. Terrible customer service. Update: a customer service rep from Don's got involved and rectified the situation. They are going to replace the unit. It took longer than necessary but I am thankful it was handled. read more

Orders a stove in January and was told it would probably be available in MAY, but it was the exact one we wanted. Came in the last week of the month of May as quoted and was delivered in perfect condition, by two of the best d we levers guys I have ever met. It was easy to select the Napoleon Grill we wanted for my husband's birthday. It came into stock ahead of schedule and they were very accommodating with our delivery schedule because it was a surprise. The delivery guys were awesome and the grill was perfect! This store carries high end quality appliances. Too bad the Cranberry Twp sales staff aren't high end. They are quite rude, cynical and demeaning. You are meant to feel that you are wasting their time. Maybe it's time for a staff meeting to teach basic social skills on how to interact with customers. Very disappointed with my last visit and being a previous customer of a full kitchen purchase worth of appliances, I would rather deal with another location or store that appreciates any customer. It truly is a superior product to what you can purchase at a big box store. The staff is tenured and very knowledgeable. Ryan Way is a great salesperson to work with as well. Better places to go are Dormont Appliance and Danielles Appliance. This place just isn't worth it. While seemingly friendly, incompetence rules and problem resolution is ferociously elusive. Don't trust what is spoken - get it in writing! The delivery crew they sent were nice enough but they too were scratching their heads in despair about how such an easy order could possibly get so screwed up. This is our 3rd purchase of appliances from Hillmon in Cranberry. Won't go to a big box store for these major purchases and you don't have to either. Hillmon is right there with them on price and provides knowledgeable sales people with years of experience and great service and installation. Any issues and they service with their own employees - not some 3rd party that takes 2 weeks to get there. We visited Hillmon to look at an ASKO washer/dryer set. We spoke to a person (X) who seemed knowledgeable. It turned out X did not work there, and he was also misinformed. X told us that delivery was included in the cost. He also told us that when the appliances were delivered, he would come to our house and give us a tutorial. We returned to the store a few days later to actually purchase the washer and dryer. X was not there. We sat down with a sales person. When the delivery was added to the cost, we asked about that, relating what X had told us. The sales person said X didn't work at the store. We asked about the tutorial. The sales person looked at his colleagues. Back to us. He said X might come if we called him. It did not seem promising. We made our purchase on December 7th. We were told delivery was two weeks. We would be out town in two weeks, so we scheduled delivery on Jan 13th (a Monday). The Wed before Jan 13th, we got a call from Hillmon. They said the delivery was delayed due to the cold weather (we later confirmed the cold weather was not at fault). Hillmon said the order would arrive the following Wed instead of the following Mon. We asked if they were very certain because were having our current washer/dryer removed to make space for the new ones. Hillmon said absolutely they were certain. They said they could call Wed morning to confirm and give us a delivery time. Wed I stayed home from work. No one called. At about 11:30am we called them. They were surprised to hear from us. They said that, no, the washer/dryer had not arrived. They didn't know when they would. We told them that we currently had no washer/dryer because they had assured us the new ones would arrive. When we were angry, they implied it was our own fault we were in that predicament. Later that day, Hillmon contacted us again and said the arrival date was for Jan 31st. We went to the laundromat. We were not surprised when the washer also failed to arrive on the 31st. Again, we went to the laundromat. They said that surely our items would arrive soon. Finally, we got a call on Feb 5th that the delivery was for Feb 6th. The washer/dryer were delivered on the 6th by delivery people who were clueless regarding the product. They didn't know how to open the washer door, so they tried to pry it open with a screwdriver. They were supposed to provide some sort of brief overview of function; they suggested it was better if we tried everything ourselves. Overall, our experience with Hillmon was abysmal. We had found the same items for less online, but we decided to go with the store for the extra service and support. Big mistake. If you are interested in purchasing an ASKO product, then you should purchase it online and install it yourself. You will be better served. read more

Just terrible....bought a Jenn-Air stove, along with many other appliances totaling about 10k from here. The stove has broken twice within the first yr and the second time we were told we need to go to Jenn Air...YOU idiots sell Jenn Air, back your product. Nevertheless, we contacted Jenn Air, who were great and provided a free warranty, but the Hillmon service techs are too incompetent to even order the correct parts to repair it. This is their 3rd attempt, and they've still got the wrong parts. Also, we informed them multiple times that they had our address wrong and what the correct address needs to be. Instead of taking 2 seconds to change it, they sent their service tech to the wrong address, about an hour in the opposite direction of where we live....that is the level of laziness and stupidity you will be dealing with. read more

On 9/2/2017 I had the pleasure of working with Frank Switalski for the purchase of all new alliances for a condo I am renovating. The purchase included the following: Refrigerator, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Wine Fridge, Washer and Dryer. I had never been to this store before and was not very familiar with the available products. Frank was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He helped put together a very competitive package for a Jenn-Air kitchen set which included some substantial discounts and a complimentary set of cast iron pans which are valued over $900. He provided very genuine feedback about all of the products, including a helpful word of caution about the Wine Fridge I was originally interested in purchasing, understanding that I will be living in the condo and not flipping the property. Instead, he suggested an alternative option that was still competitively priced but of significantly higher quality. After spending quiet a bit of time finalizing my selections, I left the store feeling like I got everything I needed for a great value. The best part was that everything was also within my original budget! I hopefully will not need to purchase anymore appliances for quiet awhile, however, I would highly recommend this store and Frank Switalski to anyone else that is looking to make an appliance purchase, large or small. -Dan read more

I can't say enough about this place! Keith was extremely helpful in helping us to find the right refrigerator for us. He was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. We ended up buying a new range and a second fridge for our garage and truly couldn't be happier! The two guys who installed were honestly the nicest delivery men I've ever had at my house. Purchased a high end dishwasher from Hillmon and had it instaslled from them as well. Mark and Bob arrived when scheduled, were extremely effecient, professional, courteous and did an excellent job. We have had some disastrous results in the past with some installers. This was a very pleasant experience. Very happy with them and Hillmon. I would leave no stars if I could. The owner is so condescending & rude I couldn't believe it. They are not helpful, have no customer service, let alone people skills. When you ask questions you get attitude with a side of 'how stupid are you' attitude. They do not like questions. Aside from this they give you the feeling of being untrustworthy- maybe it's because they wouldn't answer any of my questions or concerns... Either way I would not recommend them to ANYONE. If you could get past their terrible selling/service skills I would be scared to death if something was wrong or happened to my appliance what a battle it would be to get help!
