My husband and I have been doing updates to our home and make quite a few trips to Lowe's Cranberry. The staff are always so nice and helpful. This trip, we had an exceptional experience and assistance from several staff members for different needs and items. We needed to return/exchange a ceiling fan and Stephanie was super helpful by paging a knowledgeable staff member to help us select one that would meet our needs. Nathaniel was so helpful and nice. He looked up measurements/ceiling heights and suggested the right one for us. Then Jim, whose shift had just ended, gave some advice for another item we needed. We were all over the store getting a cart full of items we needed. Then Luke helped us check out-he is super friendly, a sweetie pie, and made us smile as we left the store. I ordered an expensive Bosch dishwasher. My old dishwasher died so it's the time of ordering my dishwasher was dead. It's been a nightmare. It's almost been a month and I have no dishwasher. I've been given so many phone numbers and so many different people to call that I'm frankly exhausted. This will be the last time. I will shop at Lowe's ever! And they outsourced their installation and the installer was a jerk. I told him they had to come a little later in the day because I would be having surgery the day prior. He said oh well too bad. The guys they use for curbside (main store and garden) are dreadful. Last summer I had one load my trunk with rock all in one spot and crack my trunk (asked repeatedly to not do it) Today this kid was so overwhelmed by a grill and had to disassemble a bunch of (that I paid for assembly). The drip pan fell out and he froze so I used my shoe to move it from his space. And then I fell. He did not ask if I was ok. Nothing. Theres probably not much value in reviewing a Lowe's once you've been to one, you've basically been to them all. That said, little things stock out here as I shop at this location the most. They do a good job with keeping their product in stock and their curbside process has always been seamless for more. Have I had my share of bad experiences or unpleasant employees? Sure. But most of the time everything goes smooth and I get what I need at reasonable prices. read more

We ordered a high-end dishwasher and opted for the installation and removal. Upon ordering the dishwasher, we were told we would be notified when the dishwasher arrived at our local store and that we would be contacted by their installation team to schedule the installation and removal of our old dishwasher. When the dishwasher arrived, we were notified, but that is where the contact stopped. We were called by their installation team at 8:30pm on a Friday night. The voicemail they left was unintelligible and when we attempted to contact them back several times, we were continually met with a voicemail. After about a week of not receiving a call back, we called several times in one day and someone answered the phone. We were able to schedule a time for installation. When the installation "team" arrived (it was only one person), they were in an unmarked maroon minivan. Our dishwasher was unwrapped in the back of the minivan with all their tools and ladders shoved in there. When the installer came inside to look at the installation location, they began to inform us that we needed a different type of valve under the sink. They said they could do the swap but it would need to be rescheduled. The installer said that Lowe's would be reaching out to us to schedule. He unloaded the brand new dishwasher in our garage and left. So, we again entered the infinite loop of contact between Lowe's and ourselves. Lowe's actually never reached out to us. After 2 days of no contact from Lowe's we called them directly. We wanted to schedule the valve replacement at a cost of $250 but were told we need to purchase the valve and have it arrive at our local store before we can schedule. So, we purchased the valve and installation and now we are responsible for reaching out to Lowe's everyday to see if the new valve has arrived and then we will need to contact the installers . . . AGAIN. For context, we purchased the dishwasher on July 16, 2023. And it's been 3 weeks and we STILL don't have the dishwasher installed. At this rate, we'll have our dishwasher sitting in our garage for another 2 weeks before it gets installed in our home. This will be over a MONTH of trying to get a dishwasher and having it installed in our home. It has been such an absolute nightmare dealing with Lowe's and their installation "team". We will NEVER use Lowe's again for anything. read more

Worst experience of my life. 0 out of 10. I spent ten thousand dollars for LVP Cali flooring at Lowes to be installed and my floors are trashed, unfinished, not level, nails sticking out, kitchen cabinets ruined, house trashed from dirt and dust and a month later Lowes is not taking any responsibility for it. Baseboards no longer fit, casings too short and They are blaming installers who they hired and installers are blaming them. It's both of their faults but ultimately Lowes because that is who I purchased this through. The guy who came to measure screwed up so much and they are ignoring it all. My floor is supposed to be all one level and it's not. They didn't remove a layer of vinyl even after being told, which his paperwork indicated my floor was even when it was not. So now my floor is uneven and they want to install transitions. One month later this is still what my house looks like. Complete disaster and unsafe. I have blue tape on my floor between rooms. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LOWES. CROOKS, SCAM ARTISTS. They are lying and trying to blame me for their own mistakes. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE AND THEY ARE MAKING ZERO EFFORT TO MAKE IT RIGHT. Poor management, never heard from store manager or executive management. No Lowes employee has even been to my house to see this mess even after I asked them to come. My family is living in this mess right now and it is unhealthy and unsafe. Going to the news next. I ordered a window from Lowe's and they had one of their contractors install it... Never again. It took 9 months to get the correct window. They ordered it 4 times. They ordered the wrong one from the get go, lost it in their warehouse once, and damaged one in shipping. At least one of those times, they straight up forgot to place the order. All I got in response was a sorry for the inconvenience. I just consulted with two other companies who told me that the install was done so poorly that I should just rip out the window and start over, which is clearly true because I'm getting water damage every time it rains. This was installed less than a year ago. Never again. I have a ton of projects I need done, but I won't be going to Lowe's and neither should you. At least not this one, but probably not any of them if these standards are acceptable. read more

I ordered doors four months ago and Lowe's has screwed them up repeatedly despite having two different people come out and measure. I've taken two days off work only for the contractors not to show up. When I called they told me they canceled the installation for today without telling me. The worst part is that I can't get ahold of a store manager. They tell me he/she isn't in and the phone just rings when they transfer me. Absolute incompetence from beginning to end. So disappointed that I have to even rate this place 1 star, 0 should be an option. I bought a dishwasher in mid-June 2024...today is August 8th and I still have my original broken dishwasher and a water bill that's double the typical from having to handwash dishes for weeks. When I was looking at dishwashers, I was deciding between a Bosch and a Kitchenaid. The associate helping me, Tristan, let me know that all dishwasher heights would fit under a kitchen counter so I could select from any. In the end, I selected the Bosch and purchased it along with installation and a warranty. I was checking over my receipts later that night and noticed that I was rung up for the Kitchenaid instead. No worries, these things happen. I called the next day and we adjusted it to the Bosch. The installer calls me a few days later and informs me that they won't be able to install my dishwasher for 3 weeks....I'm slightly irritated by that but okay, I guess it is what it is and I'll deal with it... Come 3 weeks later, the installer shows up, measures my dishwasher space and informs me that the Bosch can't be installed because it was "too tall" but that Kitchenaids usually can be squeezed into small spots. I thought "wow that's weird, I thought they were all the same height but okay". The installer takes the dishwasher back to the warehouse and I called Lowe's to initiate the return and buy the Kitchenaid. Kitchenaid is purchased and installer is now 2 weeks out. So if you're doing the math, this is now over a month I've been without a dishwasher. Again, I'm irritated but what can I do? I have to be patient since the end is in sight. Nope, wrong. Come my new installation date, I'm away on a business trip but my boyfriend is at home waiting for the installer. I haven't received a confirmation text/email/call, so I call the installer on my own and confirm that I'm on the schedule. Yep, everything is good, on the schedule. I get a call later that day while in a meeting that "the dishwasher is in their warehouse but they can't come install it because it says I never purchased it". What? Then how did I get this receipt a charge on my credit card? I proceed to call Lowe's Cranberry and apparently the installer calls Lowe's corporate at the same time. Apparently during this window of time, those 3 parties (installer, Lowe's Cranberry, and Lowe's Corporate) get on a call and have a big blow out fight about who made a mistake. I then proceed to receive calls from all 3 parties afterwards pointing fingers about who made the mistake with no real answers. Apparently this fight was so bad and disrepectful that people were reported. Like what?? I just want a dishwasher. Finally that same day, I get a call saying that the dishwasher they have in the warehouse can be released and they're coming to install it now. GREAT! The installer gets to the house where my boyfriend is waiting (this is a different installation company than the first isntance), they measure the dishwasher space and laugh. Apparently the Bosch dishwasher could have fit all along and then previous installer was incorrect! They ask us if we still want the Kitchenaid, installed and we decline in favor of returning it and getting the one we wanted from the get-go. The nightmare must be over now, right? NOPE! I get a text from the installer a few days later setting up a new installation date. Not sure what they were thinking they were going to install but I had to spend time calling them again to clarify that I have nothing on order for them to install. I get a call from Lowe's corporate today asking if they can help with the re-purchase of the Bosch. I told them this story and that for my large amounts of wasted time and money, that I'd like my installation cost waived . They "aren't able to do that"...so bottom line is that my Lowe's dishwasher order is cancelled and I'll never get my time back. If you're looking at appliances, Home Depot and Don's Appliances are great options in the Pittsburgh area! Unfortunately for Lowe's, I'll be taking my business to Home Depot as I remodel my properties from now on. read more

My issue with buying a Lowes dryer and being told I would get compensation, then told I would get 10% off and as far as I know I have not received anything or heard from anybody. 1. Purchased electric Maytag dryer August 12, 2022 at Lowes in Cranberry twp, PA 16066. Set up delivery and installation for Wednesday August 17. Purchased all necessary accessories - asked if I should take them with me and was told NO, they would come with the dryer. Also paid for hauling away old dryer. 2. August 17, 3:25 PM - Lowes calls and says they are 2 minutes out but can only drop off the dryer, no room to take the old one, (wouldn't there be room after taking the new one off the truck????). Said that Lowes did not give them the accessories so they could not hook it up and a service team would be out either Thursday or Friday. Called the delivery service - said the soonest someone could come was Monday. So now I can't even put my car in the garage. Went to the Store. Manager Bryan said he would check into compensation for my inconvenience and that the someone from the delivery service would contact me either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning to try and get it installed sooner. Asked if I should get the accessories - he said No they would come with the dryer. Nobody ever called. 3. I call Bryan Thursday afternoon, he said someone would contact me either Thursday evening or Friday, nobody called. 4. Monday morning 9:25 Lowes calls and says they are 5 minutes out and asks me what they are coming to do? Really - they are asking me??? I tell them - they show up - take the old dryer, set the new one in the laundry room and leave. Again they don't have the accessories so they wouldn't install. Me, a 65 year old woman, installed the dryer herself. I had problems but finally got it and hope it is ok. Went to store , received a refund for the accessories and was told I would get at 10% off for compensation, but they would contact the delivery service and that compensation would come from them. Have not heard anything. Sorry but I seriously think that after all this I deserve more that 10%, but I can't even get that. read more

I have an extremely bad experience with this lowes! Its been 6 months since I signed the Roof Installation contract with lowes and still I have no word on completion of the project. Lowes : 1) Didnot fulfill the contract till now 2) Got the contract signed without inspecting what can or cannot be installed on my roof. 3) Did work on my roof without my consent. 4) Destroyed my patio roof when roofers at my place. Moreover, I was told to accept $1000 as compensation which I refused. To give you a short summary: The roofers showed up on Dec 18 after almost three months on a Snow day even after my refusal by saying that roofers are used to working in snow. They pretty much got all material delivered to my house and I had to park my car in my driveway for one week in snow. Then they came after one week after snow was gone with rush to finish up roof in one day with NO gutters installed and NO ridge vents /ridge cap as per roofing contract signed on October 9. There were two boxes of raw material delivered by Lowes for our roof;  out which one whole BIG box  comprising ducts/vents was not event used. After I asked contractor, he explained that Lowes sent Wrong material and he is installing Box vents from his own RV. He tried to fool me with so bad justification which was nullified after reading 10 minutes online. Once he called me on the night of installation after I asked him questions over text, he said that he didnot notice the inflow vents before when he installed the box vents and its all fixable now;;;;;; no problem ... he will put the wood in the holes made by him on roof and will put shingles over it. This is again a fix and I think now that all you have fooled my till now. I was charged almost $11000 in October by stating that I have to sign the contract as there is supply chain problem due to Covid. The Manager from Cranberry Lowes vanished after that where no one could help me or called me back... till finally I got transferred to helpline where I was told that my project Coordinator was ......., who have never responded to my queries or my voicemails. Only called once and left voicemail in October stating that she is trying to get a date. Finally, the roofers show up when the contract was almost over to do  extremely unprofessional Job with 6 holes in my roof and my destroyed patio roof. I have been with many help desk candidates and also with manager where NO ACTION Is taken. All I have gotten is that I have go with these contractors as Lowes want the Contractors a chance to Fix. Moreover, I had to get my gutters installed from some other company since I donot trust the contractor from lowes and the water was coming inside my windows as Gutters were taken down by the installers without reinstalling the new ones. I installed gutters after long waiting an answer from the lowes installation team, where the Manager was on long vacation and only called me once stating that she is working to help. So far no help its March now. Thus, I got to save my house and I paying additional $1500 to other company I am a lowes customer for long and have spent almost $50, 000 on my home projects since 2016 and I am sorry to say this matter have left me mentally stressed so much that I wonder how we will work with Lowes again since no action shows only the extreme unprofessional behavior on Lowes team. read more

You wanna find me on a Saturday or Sunday? You'll find me right in the aisles of Lowes. My regular Saturday routine includes picking up whatever item(s) the old place needs to spruce it up. Their Valspar paint is on all my walls...and sometimes my floors, unfortunately. All the appliances in the kitchen and laundry room - Lowes. And I love the fact they deliver the new stuff and get rid of my old ones for no charge. Yay. My beloved pond? The shell, pumps and filter - Lowes. The arbor and rose bushes leading up to the pond - Lowes. The smoker we play with all weekend - Lowes. The gas grill - Lowes. Not only is the outside a virtual Lowes advertisement, so is the inside. They redid my kitchen floors - love the Pergo! The countertops, too. New bathroom fixtures, installed with expertise, make me smile every time I turn the lights on in there. Even the wall-to-wall carpeting throughout the house - of course it all came from Lowes. Come to think of it, maybe I should spend a little less time shopping here and more time at home just enjoying everything we've done! read more

I have had mixed experiences at this Lowe's! It's very convenient to my workplace and easy to pop by over my lunch break, particularly as I am in the midst of a kitchen renovation. My positive experiences have occurred when I have wandered around the kitchen department. Everyone is very helpful and attentive, even when I openly shared that I was already working with a designer in Greensburg. My negative experience happened when I tried to buy a refrigerator here. I went to customer service and expressed my interest in buying a refrigerator and was immediately sent to a cashier. The cashier began to ring me up, and his manager popped over and told me that I had to go back to the refrigerator department. Back in the refrigerator department, I learned that the fridge was not in stock and that the local distribution center was sold out. Unfortunately, stores do not have access to online inventory. The whole process was confusing and frustrating, and customer service should have done a better job of both listening and reacting to my needs when I asked for assistance. read more

I'm slightly ashamed to admit how many of our Friday & Saturday night date nights have included a visit to our local Lowes but we've found so many incredible deals on closeout appliances sitting in the middle of the aisles during those treks that we made it a regular habit for quite a while. Our daughter used to join us as we helped her rehab 2 houses. This store is clean, well organized and the staff has always been super helpful. One day I stopped in there and 8 different associates asked if they could help me. I started counting after #3 offered, then I kept giggling as it continued. I think I had a conversation with almost all of them, too. Obviously none of us were having a super busy day but its always easy to find a helper when you do need one. When I was searching for the right kitchen backsplash, I bought and returned so many samples I was actually amazed how easy & no questions asked they made it. I love knowing that whatever I need, I can pop into Lowes in less than 10 minutes & I'll find it and its always at a price that's competitive with everyone (including Walmart). Had purchased a beverage refrigerator and had bought the wrong size. It was within the 90 day return window. When I went to return it they would not let me because they said it was a major appliance and the return policy was 30 days. Ask for the store manager and got Cody. That was an epic fail. I've never seen anybody so arrogant. It was like he was put off and didn't have time to even hear me.. At the time I didn't have my receipt so went home and found it. The receipt specifically says that major refrigerator appliances are are over 9 ft.³ and this was 4.6. I went back in again and got Justin who is also an assistant store manager. Talk about a totally different experience. He was absolutely amazing and bent over backwards helping me. It's funny that two people could have the same title with the same job and makes such a huge difference with a customer. read more

This is our main stop for our home improvement needs. The employees are sometimes helpful, sometimes not. Some will walk you to the product you're lookin for and others will just point you in the direction. We had one key made copied here that didn't ever work properly. They were willing enough to replace it. We purchased our Christmas tree here a few weeks ago and its still living, but I had to cut off a bunch of the base that had sealed itself up from sitting in the lot. That's about all one can say about Lowes, I think. read more

My family went to the garden center outside to purchase some plants. While, we were looking, without warning, they locked the gates and said we had to go in through the store to exit. We asked if we could please have the gate unlocked so we could exit without going through an enclosed space. They declined. I'm sure this isn't a big deal for many people, but for some individuals it is. Clearly it was a big deal for two other customers in addition to our family. During this time of COVID I would strongly recommend the store give an announcement before closing those outside garden gates, or perhaps posting some hours. We will not be returning to Lowe's during COVID and will choose an outdoor nursery to purchase our plants instead. read more

I spend entirely too much time at Lowes. Unfortunately, this fun house is located much too close to my office. So, after work, when I should be rushing home to clean the house or bake some yummy treats for BJ, I am more likely to be wandering the aisles of Lowes. Looking at interesting items such as house plants, new kitchen drawer pulls, lamps, organizational tools and carpet. There is a good reason for this. I dream of the perfect house. Some of my most recent purchases have been appliances. Yes, Julie D. has jumped on the stainless steel band wagon. And I could not be more happy with the service I received at Lowes. In true Julie D. fashion, I have been purchasing my appliances one at a time. I know, that's a little crazy. But I didn't want to become over whelmed with a truck load arriving the same day. First up was my microwave. My installer contacted me a week early, was very flexible with an install time and did a great job. Convection oven was up next, BJ had moved the old oven out into the entry way and removed the electrical wiring from it (it was needed on the new oven). The delivery guys were right on time, very professional, reinstalled the wiring and carefully put my oven in place, treating it like my new baby. No unsightly fingerprints anywhere! Just this week, it was dishwasher time. This outsourced installer was not so prompt, but I will not hold that against Lowes because they hire contractors. And apparently, good plumbers are hard to find. The perfect fridge is up next. It's amazing what new appliances have done for the look and feel of my kitchen. It's no longer tired and ugly looking. Be sure to search the Internet for pricing on whatever you are purchasing. Lowes price matches. I was able to get my dishwasher at HHGregg pricing minus 10% because it was an in stock item. Plus, since I was using my Lowes credit card, I was able to pick from 18 month 0% financing or 5% off the purchase price. No one can beat Lowes prices. Another tip when buying appliances here: check the Internet for pricing or ask a salesman. Sometimes, they don't have the sale signs up-to-date in the store, so you might not know that your dream convection oven priced $949 is marked down to $599, unless you ask. Another thing that surprised me, was how hospitable the employees are here. It took a bit of extra effort for our sales rep to get the price adjusted for the dishwasher. But he was patient and got that taken care of for us. Also, when I was paying for my purchases at the service counter, an employees or two from other departments walking by inquired about what I was purchasing. And much to my surprise, they both thanked me for being a Lowes customer. A little kindness goes a long way. I feel really good about spending my money here. read more

A tragic decline story in three parts: 1. Ordered a kitchen fawcet online. After one week called. They hadn't processed order but could not cancel the order because we used a gift card. We then ordered the same fawcet on Amazon Prime. Had it in less than two days. Put it in. TWO weeks later the fawcet arrived from Lowe's. Took it back and exchanged it at the store. 2. Took two halogen lights back to Lowe's that I bought this past summer and found out my wife had bought the same. Unopened, I attempted to return them. Sales Associate said there is a new 90 day return policy. I looked it up on my phone and sure enough there was. Then looked up Home Depot (3 miles away). They don't have a 90 day limit (with some expected exclusions). Guess I'll be shopping at Home Depot from here on. Really - how many times has a workmen or a contractor asked you to get certain items only to take weeks or months to actually get to your house and do the work... This new policy can muck you up, particularly if it is the wrong item. Similarly, when haven't you done a job, bought more than you needed to cut down on return trips and at the end taken back the unused things. Many projects can last 3 plus months... 3. Ordered a gazebo from Lowe's in the spring. It took four months and about 10 hours of wasted time over many trips back or on the phone getting the item to ship. In the end we got 10% discount for our time. So between two people: $100/(10x2)= $5.00 an hour. What aggravation. In the end, Lowe's is unfortunately getting worse. read more

The Lowe's Home Improvement credit card is a good bargain, as is the MyLowe's tracking system. Staff has always been supportive and helpful even in the face of rather silly questions! But virtually everyone is part of a trade and thus they know things and can help the amateurs (like me). read more

Do not contract with Lowe's to have a fence installed. Estimated install date was 2 weeks after I signed the contract. Materials arrived 3 weeks later. After 3 days of not hearing from the installer, I called and was told that it would be another six weeks before it could be installed. I signed the contract for 12 mo no interest with a 10% customer appreciation discount. After I received my first statement, I notice I was charged interest. Called the store to clear up and was told there was nothing they could do. Delay in installation, no 12 mo no interest - they basically breached the contract. read more

If I could give this store and company negative stars I would. They give you bad service and the rip you off finically. We had a fence installed by them almost a year ago and it's still not completed. The guy came out , spoke to my husband wrote down the measurements of what we wanted and the supplies needed to complete the fence. Almost 3 weeks later 3 young men show up to install my fence. They try to tell me they're going to have to make one side longer than the other because they don't have enough material. I called Lowes and the first idiot that came out to do the measurement tries to tell me we ordered it that way.......Why would we order and uneven fence. His measurements were all wrong !! He then tell me he's going to order the rest of the material and come back to finish my fence. Almost one year later my fence is still not done, I can't get ahold of anyone in the store or their corporate office. Oh and they want me to pay the bill for a job they never finished. read more

I shop at Lowe's a lot. Their sales prices are hard to beat so I watch for deals and then buy whatever I need in bulk. They don't always have everything I need but the vast majority of home needs can be found here. read more

This lowes is one of the worst for inventory and helpfulness. Employees are generally wanting to just be left alone. Save some time and money. Go to Walmart, Home Depot or somewhere in the near vicinity. read more
