This Home Depot location is quite close to my house & we can usually find most things that we are looking for indoors and outdoors. Most recently I bought paint here for my family room, and we also had free delivery of mulch and stone (free delivery is for limited quantities). If you're not a fan of self check out, there are usually people upfront to help you. I also bought quite a few plants here last year from their garden department. This particular store is located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, and it has a very similar layout and selection of merchandise as do other Home Depot stores. I do not usually shop at this particular Home Depot, but I was in the area, so I stopped in. The store was logically arranged, so I easily found the products that I needed. I felt happy that this store had stock of a particular brand, style, and color of floor tile and a particular brand and color of grout. Seeing these products in person, rather than just on the website, helped me to decide to purchase them. I did not need any other merchandise from this store, but it appeared to be well stocked with lawn/garden supplies, appliances, etcetera. Prices were reasonable. read more

So the grill I ordered that had pieces missing- I spoke to manager at Home Depot sent him pictures of the instruction manual and they sent replacement parts in a closed box and the box did not have the missing parts and I had to have the handyman come back. I called Cranberry Home Depot and the manager told me I would have to bring this large grill back they didn't have staff to pick it up. I spent 2 hours on the phone with corporate. The store employees are pleasant and helpful. The management is arrogant and rude. Never ask about a price match ( even though they advertise that), it's a complete lie. They don't seem to like their customers. The quality of their lighting products is questionable. They definitely don't have the selection of a Menards. read more

A friend of mine spent a fortune to redo all of the wood floors in their house back in March. The wood came in June almost on time and more than 50% of the wood in the first box was defective. Months later they still have yet to rectify. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. An absolute disgrace. They have now had to put their entire house remodel on hold. Absolutely absurd. read more

Love the garden area at any season, but we had problems with the mulch that they sold us last spring. We wanted red and some bags that were marked as "red" mulch were actually brown. Our yard looked terrible until we decided to shell out more sweat, stress, and money to even it out. They were also not good quality. That was a waste! It is very convenient for us to go to this location and they have most common things for your home/hardware needs that you may need in a jiffy. However, if you are remodeling, you might consider specialty stores. HD only sells certain variety and certain brands of hardware/fixtures. For ex: they will have Moen but only certain types and it can be a fixture that will not be available next year. I like that they have a good selection of tiles and window treatments. They have cellular shades that can be cut to size. They look pretty good for the price vs. going thru expensive window treatment companies. Sometimes things are unorganized and most of the time, it is tough to find an associate for help other than in the garden area. read more

I am a hardware store frequent flier. It's true. I get a cheap thrill looking at flooring, tile, light fixtures and running my fingers thru carpet samples. Light bulb, light bulbs, let me get some of those LED light bulbs! And I can't tell you how many times I have opened and closed a shiny new refrigerator door for a little taste of fun. Next up, the knob display. And the closet organizer department? Stand back, I am coming thru! The Home Depot is almost like a low cost amusement park for Julie D. Sorry to say, this location fails a bit in customer service. It's difficult to get assistance in the the flooring dept. And I was even asked for a bribe in plumbing. Dude was so helpful, and then thought I should go up front and buy him a candy bar. So much to look at, I can spend an hour or two hour. And when Spring arrives, you can find me in the plant department. Can't wait for that! read more

Have you ever tried to call this Home Depot in Cranberry or any other Home Depot recently or in the past? I have NEVER been able to get through to anyone I needed to talk to! NEVER! They probably have the worst telephone system I've ever come across especially in the 21st Century. Mind you, this includes having been called by someone at the store with whom I've created an order who's called me several times asking me to call him back asap. I tried and tried, but I was NEVER able to connect with him OR anyone else at the store for that matter. Instead, I had to drive 45 minutes to the store and find him. Get this, he had one simple question for me that was a simple yes or no answer! 45 minutes drive to answer a question that could have been handled in less than a minute over the phone!!! My order is in the works, but if I have to get in touch with anyone there, it's going to be a long drive again!! As I said, this is ridiculous for this day and age! I'm very upset! read more

Horrible customer service right down to management, we bought carpet for our entire house and within 6 months it looked horrible and I called to have someone come look at it and they gave me the run around, It's under warranty and they refuse to even come and look at it. Never have I experience such unprofessionalism and sloppiness in my entire life.... I ordered 7 custom doors (spent over $3,000) from the Home Depot in Cranberry Township and experienced the following: -Waited over THREE MONTHS for the doors to deliver and ANOTHER month to be installed. -Two doors were not custom, they were stock. -One storm door was completely wrong. -I had to call off work two days instead of one after the job took longer than they expected. -They broke my doorbell. -One of our doors barely closes months later. -The overall installation was incredibly sloppy. With that being said, The Home Depot did refund two of my storm doors (total $308.04) and I am waiting on a response for the doorbell and door fix. However, as a result of such a horrible experience I will NEVER use The Home Depot for any kind of installation again and would certainly NEVER recommend anyone else use them either. read more

Installation was first delayed again from this afternoon to this evening, and then they called to cancel for today. We have to reschedule not for tomorrow but for Thursday. This is the 3rd and 4th time they pushed us back, unacceptable and unprofessional. And if this is happening to us, how many other families are going thru this same thing. Also, we were told that the manager would call us back on 2 occasions, which never happened. Poor management and accountability. Each time we had a scheduled installation, we had to be home and not use the stove, not so bad the first time or two, but this time we are writing to the BBB. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES.... my husband bought a TORO lawnmower in May, after using it for 3 times, there grass build up under the machine, so when you turn it off, those dead grass fall off on your lawn, like a pile of mud, brown muddy look. So we want to exchange it for different brand, but it has pass 5 days of 30 days return policy. My husband give Home depot a call, they say just bring it they will do it. We get there, they said NO, they say it's been used multiple times. We only use it 3 times in that 30 days. read more

This is not a concern of Home Depot, but their bath contractor, Re-Bath. Recently my wife and I decided to get some prices for a new walk-in shower. Home Depot sent a rep from Re-Bath to our house who was a nice guy, knowledgeable and friendly. After three hours, we were tired and being asked to make a decision, but declined and decided to think about it. A few days had gone by, my wife reluctantly decided to go for that shower system, called Re-Bath to sign some papers. Well, you also sign an 'opt-out' agreement which give you three days to change your mind. Sure enough, my wife told me the next morning that she was not happy with the limited options Re-Bath provided and couldn't see spending top dollar for limited choices so she 'opted-out'. Before the morning was over, I get a call from someone (didn't catch his name) who wanted to throw a guilt trip on me for cancelling our order. GEEZ! He sounded like he was in high school and was pressuring me for an explanation. Kind of pissed me off that Home Depot sends high pressure sales 'kids' to do their work. Don't get me wrong, it seemed like a quality product, but what's with the follow-up guilt trip? It sounded like my mother yelling at me in 2nd grade...grow up guys! read more

Just to let you know, Home Depot no longer matches Lowes 5% off when using your store credit card. Found this out today when a cashier and the store manager so rudely informed me of this new policy. So now I will purchase most of my products from Lowes and receive an extra 5% off. Will ONLY to to Home Depot if Lowes doesn't have what I am looking for. read more
