Their sign was a heavy metal pole, supported by a few bolts, with a thin wire for extra support. Not surprisingly, the wire broke & the weight of the heavy metal took the whole thing down. I was so sad to see my cute sign smashed on the sidewalk, but grateful nobody was hurt.

This would be the first new station the LIRR has built in fifty years that serves Belmont Park and the Elmont area of New York. Once the game is over, shuttles can transport fans from the arena directly to the station, or they can simply walk about ten minutes. The train would arrive roughly 15 minutes before its scheduled departure, giving fans ample time to leave the park comfortably. It's a fantastic, easy, and cost-effective solution. I love it!
