Dr Garza is able to see me for my weight loss needs, he has removed skin tags, and most importantly he has administered steroid shots in my knees and shoulders for me. And I have even been able to get a facial by an AMAZING AND EXPERIENCED onsite aesthetician! What more could anyone want! This place is truly a one stop shop! I have had experiences with the phones being busy but I just wait a bit or call back until someone answers. It has not caused any major issues for me. Post exertional mailaise is one of the significant aspects of it. This is very common currently with Long Covid vistims. What Dr Finnie encountered was post exertinal malaise. A deep sleepiness. When I came to he was sitting next to me. I did not know him. He very gently and kindly connected with me as a Knight. Slightly later he suggested that i visit his office and that he is a physician. I did. And I miss him as I now live in Northern California all due to the necessity of requiring a microdisectmy of C3 performed by Grant Shifflett MD Newport Beack neurosurgeon. Subsequently all of my symtoms have worsened. No i say something about his practice. A finer staff cannot be found, maybe equal but among the best of the best. Dr. Finnie is the most profoundly brilliant Primary Physicians i have ever had the priveledge of having him as my PC. He knew all the limits of PC and he most importantly knows the best qualified Specialists available. And most important he actually cares about his patients and their well being. That's rare these days. Also candor is rare and that's extremely important. Patients need truth and communicated in a very apporiate manner and timing. Not all patients are the same. I could say more, however, I can be long winded and have learned to try to be less so. If you are seeking what i have spoked about. I don't have any chronic illnesses or huge health concerns but diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure run in my family and I would rather be proactive now that I do not have issues in hopes that my preventative measures will allow me to catch an illness earlier rather than later. I do hope they start allowing more flexibility for physical exam appointments. It would be nice if there was a balance of sick visits and physical exam visits available. He had already been treated in the hospital and was specifically instructed to follow up with his PCP, and he was also due for his annual visit. Unfortunately, we were met with extremely poor customer service at the front desk. The receptionist repeatedly stated that the clinic 'doesn't treat accidents,' despite us clearly explaining multiple times that he was not seeking accident treatment, but rather a hospital discharge follow-up and routine care. We even provided hospital documentation showing he had already been treated, yet there was little effort or willingness to review or upload the paperwork into his chart. The lack of listening, understanding, and basic professionalism was very concerning. As a nurse, I found this experience especially frustrating and disappointing. Access to primary care--especially for appropriate follow-up--should not be this difficult. After reading similar experiences from other patients, I feel confident that changing providers is the safest and most appropriate decision for us. Due to the nature of this encounter, I also intend to report this experience and provide appropriate documentation to outside agencies to ensure this issue is addressed and does not continue to affect other patients. You never know the circumstances or backgrounds of the patients and families you are interacting with--compassion, professionalism, and proper communication are essential in healthcare.

It isn't always the easiest to get in for acute need appointments, but just last month they were able to get me in. I felt better right after I started my antibiotics. I guess that rule - "only those that aren't happy will leave reviews" might be true in this case. I will admit I had not reviewed this office, and I have been a patient for 4-5 years. Plus they are always busy- obviously they have repeat happy patients. Try it - I have gotten great care - I like Dr Perez and Homer is a great fit for a FNP.
