I went with the jalapeño bread, bacon, eggs, cream cheese, and cheese--the flavor combo is perfect and the portion size is huge. Seeing all the rave it was a must try to surprise my 6 kiddos with donuts for breakfast. It was busy but did not take long. Customer service was still very good for how busy it was and it did not take long to get our donuts. There are about 4 tables from what I remember and area was kept clean layout is cute from digital screens and written out menus. I made sure to get kids favorite must have like sprinkles, glazed, sugar, and chocolate twist were very good. Then we ordered one of each different types of filling donuts. We liked them all. As a big family our level of sweetness waivers but there was definitely a doughnut filling for each. Price is reasonable and worth it. I definitely recommend!!! read more

First time stopping by Hilltop Donuts and I was really impressed. I noticed they have a wide variety of options on their menu -- breakfast sandwiches, boba, coffee, and donuts. I ordered two taro bobas, a raspberry-filled donut, and a vanilla cluster-filled donut. When my order was ready, the employee surprised me with complimentary donuts, which was such a nice touch. Their prices are reasonable, the donuts taste amazing, and the boba drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet. I've ordered from here before and the food and drinks are usually pretty good. Today, I ordered two of the #4's with the cheesy bagel for both. One with American cheese and one with Pepper Jack cheese. Unfortunately the bagel sandwich that was supposed to have the Pepper Jack cheese had American cheese on it, so I ended up with two with American cheese instead. No biggie, it was probably an accident. Just unfortunate because the store was not busy when I went in. It was just me and my bf inside, and another guy who came in a couple minutes after. In a nutshell; Staff was awesome, doughnuts were great. Intrigued by their new management sign and boba offerings, hilltop donuts provides excellent choices to satisfy your sweet cravings. The staff were nice and kindly answered and inquiry or questions I had. Even when I went rather later on the day the doughnuts were still great. The bubble waffle was good albeit a bit messy. Best donut shop in town! The donuts are always fresh and light on the weekend. I love their ham and cheese croissants. They are also huge croissants and so delicious!!! They have a big menu too with drinks and boba as well. Always a short line but it moves quickly! I think the owners are Cambodian and the staff is always so nice and lots of staff! They usually give me a few extra freebies! Highly recommend. I've never been here on a weekday though. I come here every week for their jalapeño cheddar bagel #4 which has egg, ham, bacon & cheese. It's the best warm bagel I reward myself after a long week of work. Plenty of people come through but they work fast to get you your donut fix. The donut holes are addictive! So light and airy with just enough coating of sugar. Everything is yummy! Even the matcha tea taste like good quality matcha here. Just amazed at how Marysville has this gem of a donut spot. read more

This donut shop was absolutely adorable! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, just what this area needed. The donuts were as delicious as they looked! They were soft, fresh, and had great flavor! The breakfast sandwiches were perfectly made, the croissants were fluffy and buttery making them over all that much better! The milk teas had amazing flavor and sweetness while the boba balls were just as soft and flavorful. Everything is made fresh and with care which is really rare around here. The owners were very fast, kind, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience that much better. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! read more

I got a dozen donut holes, a chocolate sprinkle donut and a custom matcha milk tea boba. Donuts aren't anything to write home about, but they're okay. They should definitely look into more unique donuts--maybe mochi donuts or cronuts? They use the same base for almost all of their donuts. It's pretty sweet and fluffy. Their matcha is pretty good! I was decently surprised. It wasn't too bitter and didn't taste like grass like some places. They also used a matcha whisk. Tapioca pearls are chewy, but I like them like that. It does kind of suck that they seem to have a set menu and only one size for their drinks. I would've loved a large. Service was decent. Definitely awkward and new to the service industry, but I have high hopes for them! We definitely needed a boba place in Marysville/Olivehurst! Ambiance was a bit crowded. They had three(?) booths that took up 1/3 of the waiting area and everything is a weird yellow/orange. For being under new management, their decor and environment is very outdated. Their menu is printed on poster paper as well. Hopefully as they get more customers, they can upgrade their menu. read more
