I'm very disappointed with the customer service I received during a recent consultation with Rice…read moreGlass. Jordan (JJ) came to my home to measure windows for replacement. At the start of the visit, I explained that I wanted measurements and pricing for individual windows so I could decide which ones to replace. His first response was, "Why did they send me out here if you're not even sure you're going to replace them?" -- which immediately set an unprofessional tone. We discussed replacing a window located within a rock exterior wall. A reputable builder had previously told me that replacing the entire window could be difficult and expensive because of the surrounding stonework. Jordan dismissed this concern and said the rock would not need to be touched. Since this conflicted with what I had been told before, I asked him to provide pricing for both approaches so I could compare options. He measured all the windows and later sent a total estimate. When I asked for the pricing to be broken down by window so I could make decisions, Jordan refused and said he would have to charge more to do that. This made it difficult to evaluate the project in stages, which was my original intent. There was also confusion about whether pricing for the window in the rock wall had been included. Jordan insisted I had told him not to quote it, which I did not. The conversation became unnecessarily argumentative instead of solution-focused. Additionally, I had to provide my email address three separate times because it was not written down correctly, which added to the frustration and made the interaction feel disorganized. When I called the office to resolve the issue, I was initially unable to speak with anyone else because Jordan answered the phone again. When I was finally transferred, the person I spoke with said he did not want to do business with me because Jordan had told him I had cursed him out -- even though he had not heard the conversation himself. The call ended with him hanging up on me. I also asked whether the company would guarantee against leaks if the window in the rock wall were replaced. I was told no guarantee could be provided. Overall, the interaction felt dismissive, disorganized, and unprofessional. I was simply trying to gather information and pricing so I could move forward with the project. Clear communication and basic customer service would have made this a very different experience.

All these concerns and more. I'm a detail oriented guy that can find fault with just about everything, I know, not healthy. BUT, let me tell you while giving major praise and satisfaction thanks to Todd, the owner of Windows, Doors & More. His crew showed up 30 minutes prior to start time every day! I say "crew" BUT, these guys were true Craftsman and I mean Craftsman. The Team, Steve, Jacob, Ian, and Bill worked together like a fine tuned machine. A look and a nod in the place of words. WOW. Their personalities made it actually nice to have them around and working on my home. If you have a question, they stop what their doing, follow you, and listen intently with a true response. They even took extra care to help me and be certain my wood blinds would fit the new windows. Extra trim required, Not a problem. I look at these windows and completed installation with pleasing amazement. I'm not kidding, everything looks and operates beautifully. For a guy that's hard to please, I couldn't be happier. Also, their pricing is more than competitive and their products are top rated when you do the investigation. I addition, the painted commented that the woodwork was done and nailed the way it's supposed to be done unlike other work he has seen. Hats off to Todd and his team. Even now I look at these windows and smile in satisfaction. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I kept getting told that they were waiting for parts but everything was ready. From quote to finish was almost six months for five windows. My complaint was the lack of respect Todd gave me. I know this outfit has a great reputation but for me I'll go with a company that is courteous and professional when I do the rest of my windows.

The sales representative arrived on time, wore protective booties while inside the house, and provided straightforward, transparent pricing. I especially appreciated that the pricing schedule was printed out and he walked me through exactly how the final cost was calculated. There were no surprises or high-pressure sales tactics. He brought product samples, answered all of my questions, and set realistic expectations for the process. One thing that really stood out was their commitment to customer service. Even before we had made a decision, they noticed one of our existing windows was badly deteriorated and took the time to add silver tape to help prevent it from falling out. That small gesture spoke volumes about their professionalism and integrity. Since all of the windows are custom made, we expected a wait, but the process actually moved a little faster than anticipated. Throughout the project, Kelly Windows kept us informed with confirmation emails, status updates, and documentation at every step. The installation itself was efficient and well-executed. The finished product met our expectations, and the installer took the time to walk me through the features and operation of the new windows before leaving. Overall, Kelly Windows delivered exactly what they promised: quality products, transparent pricing, excellent communication, and professional installation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering new windows.

We took the ride out to Cary to get a sense of the actual door, the finish we wanted, along with available options. Their sales specialist, David Boyd, was extremely helpful explaining the product line and Kelly's business model. David came out to the house and helped us find a door that fit our budget without sacrificing the look and features like glass we wanted. He took the measurements and explained the process from the point of sale to completion of installation. He walked us through the ProVia product warranty. We did our homework and got two more quotes, but Kelly was the clear winner in pricing and the fact that they are the only 'Platinum' ProVia dealer in the Triangle. Best of all? No franchise pricing games like the other two estimates. Their quote was transparent and actually more affordable than the 'big name' companies. While the price was more affordable, we looked at each company in totality. We highly recommend Kelly Window and Door, Inc. a high-quality experience!

My main complaint, the sales person promised the crews would be clean and put tarps down to catch 100% of the debris, and we wouldn't even be able to tell they'd been here. Now we're four months past the install and we are still picking up bits of shingle, tar paper, plastic, and most egregiously, ROOFING NAILS in the yard nearly every SINGLE time we do yard work. In the first two weeks we picked up over a hundred nails from the yard and DRIVEWAY (come on, now!). We seriously found two more yesterday and two more today. It's NEVER ENDING. With the sales guy's suggestion we had them put in wide mouth gutter drains to help with the constant gutter clogging problems -- so what do they do? First they installed them wrong (oversized drains with standard drain holes does no good), so I printed out and handed the project manager installation instructions from the manufacturer. They came back out to redo it, but contrary to those instructions they used a ton of caulk, and also put caulk on every joint. Guess what gutter debris does when it hits a caulk. We also had them do some siding repair and had to be extremely specific about what we wanted them to do vs asking "replace anything that's rotting" which I would expect to be a reasonable request. I expected SO much more from a family company this old and established. Sadly, NOT recommended.
