Alexander Gutierrez was one of the most dismissive and arrogant healthcare workers I've ever encountered. My mother presented in severe pain and instead of showing concern or even basic kindness, we were met with coldness and condescension. At one point, he responded with "pain is subjective" in a tone that felt less like clinical education and more like a dismissal of her suffering. I fully understand emergency departments triage based on acuity and not simply pain scores. That's not the issue. The issue was the complete lack of compassion and the way a vulnerable patient was spoken to during a frightening moment. There's a difference between being clinically efficient and being emotionally detached to the point patients feel dehumanized. Unfortunately, this experience felt like the latter. No family should leave triage feeling belittled for advocating for someone they love.

I now live in another part of california so i opted in for a virtual visit. (i have been in the ER 6 times this past year). I unexpectedly got called into work to take a trip to chicago. I wanted the appointment changed due to me working 24/7 while on these work trips, but if they absolutely could not change it, then i would take it from chicago, not an issue. The lady starts yelling at me over the phone telling me the call is recorded and that I am not allowed to take the call from chicago (while i reside in ca). I thought this was really unprofessional. She told me next availability is 4 months from today. She also told me they TRACK WHERE I AM DURING THESE VIDEO VISITS. I thought this was so inappropriate. Isn't this a VIOLATION of my privacy??? She then transferred me to my doctors office. My doctor told me she can see me on Thursday with no issues while I take the call before my work trip.

The anesthesiologist played a crucial role in my experience, ensuring my comfort throughout the procedure. His friendly attitude and expertise helped ease my anxiety. But now I no longer have Kaiser, and I am a man who fears change. But let me share with you all about my experience at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. My Cardiologist Dr. Sidhu was absolutely amazing, I couldn't wait for each of my next appointments (weird right?) But he made me feel safe and informed about everything that needed to happen, where I was at in the process, and what was his most educated plan of action to get my ticker back ticking right. He was thorough folks! I appreciate that kind of service. Then, they didn't make me wait months out San Ramon Regional Medical Center acted promptly at this serious matter, even if they did this everyday, I couldn't tell. They took my Afib seriously. We can get you in Friday for a cardioversion because you have taken your pradaxa consistently we can move forward. I arrived at the hospital at 8 am for prep. Hospitable guards, check in folks, all the way to the nurses. Prep time was swift and efficient. The entire time people are sharing with me what to expect and reassuring me that I will be ok. Perhaps fear shown on my disposition. My previous experience was nothing like this, not comparing, I appreciate Kaiser and the professionals there, but this felt sooooo safe. My Cardioversion without TEE, happened and when I woke my ticker was right back where it should be and I was met with a slew of caring physicians who wanted to see my smile with a regular heart beat. I recommend San Ramon Regional Medical Center for all your medical needs. They will not disappoint!!!!

I was not even offered a sling a bed or a painkiller for two hours. I can hear the nurses laughing and giggling, while I waited and the waiting room they finally took me in and they brought an extreme machine to take x-rays, but after that I was sitting on the wheelchair for the longest time without a sling or Support they finally moved me back to the waiting room citing that they don't have any beds available. They also told me I need a surgery due to a compound clavicle fracture, but I had to wait till Monday and call the Doctor not to mention today is Monday and I can't even get a hold of the doctor or anyone of the doctors staff @ Bass medical group. They hadn't even cleaned my skin lacerations. My wife noticed it when she helped me take a bath. Dr. Bahzadi staff never returned the call. Supposedly Megan is the surgery coordinator, but she can't return calls or email . God forbid if you have an emergency like me! Worst care I have ever received!
